Up at our place in the Dells area and drive by this place every time we go,but have never stopped, till today. We had friends with us for the 4th weekend and decided to finally give it a try.The place always looks busy and has a huge outdoor patio,and live music on the weekends (Wednesday through Sunday right now).We were very surprised it wasn't very busy given the Holiday weekend,but it allowed us to get a table right away.We were seated immediately and our server was prompt(she was it seems, also training someone).We ordered our beverages and then ordered,what else,but a traditional Friday night Fish fry that had large side option choices too. In no time at all she brought out 5 fish fries that were hot and fresh and some really good coleslaw too boot.The batter was crispy and the cod inside really had a great flavor(sometimes not the case) and breadsticks instead of the traditional rye bread,a pleasant change. Needless to say ,it didn't take long to finish off our orders.All in all a very pleasant experience, and good food to boot.We now have another great choice for a fish fry close by us in the Dells to go too.Good job,pretty decent menu selection as well, but that'll have to be for another time.Worth stopping for ,for sure. read more

Love this place!! They have both an interior bar along with an outdoor bar overlooking the pool. The staff are all amazing and we had such a good time chatting with them. The food was what you would expect from a bar. Priced fair and good tasting. Would definitely return in the future! read more

I went here on word of a great bar burger , the Jack Daniels smokehouse did not disappoint, it's a great burger, drinks were delicious . We had a new server , only like his 3rd day but he managed and was very attentive. Now the con, there was only a dozen or so in there a few more in the dinning area but the music playing was way too loud , it's mid day not 10 pm bar time . The beer selection was sub par , a Belgium or a light beer is not what expect, no darks, ambers, even cat piss IPA's was lacking. . Very clean , a lot of space and great outdoor area . read more

Oh my gosh so much fun.. We are full-time RVers from Oregon... Just staying right down the road at Arrowhead Campground... Just happen to be here during AutoCommotion. Never ever have I seen anything like it... All the servers were working hard with the amount of people that were there. We went numerous times in our three weeks of being at the campground. Ryan, Blake and Chelsea were amazing servers with great personality. There's nothing like walking back into a restaurant and they call you by your name. read more

Stopped in prior to attending a concert in town yesterday (01/27/2024). Had no idea this restaurant was here. An unassuming place off the main road but certainly feels inviting once you enter. There was live music on Friday and scheduled live music on Saturday but I overheard the booked act had come down with something and couldn't perform. However it was obvious the crew had a back up plan as they worked to get an act prepped for the live venue. We didn't stick around for the live music however we did have dinner. Sat at the bar, there's plenty of seating for singles and groups btw. We ordered drinks right away and had speedy service at that point. The delay in taking our order was a bit odd though as it appeared there was quite a bit of standing around at first by our server. Eventually she made her way over to us and took our order, so just a little wait which overall didn't matter because we still had time. Food came out pretty fast and was definitely presentable and tasted great. I had the house burger and steak fries. The burger was fantastic, onion rings and barbecue sauce made it very tasty. Steak fries were cooked perfectly, not over/under done, just right. The staff was very nice and friendly and seemed to know the locals really well. First off this is a 21+ spot. It's nice to relax with friends or spouse and not worry about kids running around (nice get away from your own kids too). The campgrounds and cabins were clean and kept up (see photo of premium cabin). Everything you need for camping (besides food/yard games/etc) is there. Very close to town and a bar on site with live bands from time to time. The bar also has a pool that's open to the public 21+ with bar service available. Depth of pool ranges from 3ft to 5ft. When we were there they had a DJ playing the tunes while we drank and hung out. Food at the bar was good. The cheeseburger I ordered Saturday night was dry and had to remind the waitress a few times for refills the group had ordered that she forgot. Mind you I think she was the only waitress working so take that with a grain of salt. Overall I gave the entire experience . read more

Stayed with a group of 8 in a cabin, it was awesome. The resort half was a great time and I would recommend to anyone. The restaurant service was absolutely terrible. Including my party of 8 their were a total of 14 people in the place, yet nothing was correct. 5 of us ordered draft beers and it took over 30 minutes to get them to the table, our friend ordered a coke and ended up having to go to the bar to get it. More than half the table received something wrong with our order and our friend got the complete wrong order. Was about 45 minutes before we got our appetizers and another 30 to get wraps and burgers. When we got our checks it was another 30 minutes before they figured out who had what. I don't know what was going on but we all had a terrible experience. The resort half is absolutely bad ass and I will definitely go back. Restaurant was a disaster. read more

The Edge of the Dells is like a big log cabin in steroids!! It has a huge wraparound bar and motorcycle hanging from the ceiling usually that would be enough to get anyone to go but wait there's more! sitting in the summer is everywhere three different places to sit, the outdoor area host bands on the weekends bike shows and everything else! The food is one step above the regular bar food they do put a lot of effort into the quality of the food the wings are delicious definitely try those! Always a great crowd the servers are friendly the bartenders make sure you always have a drink,good prices! If you ride a motorcycle definitely make it a stop when you come into the Dells before or when you're leaving it's totally worth your time! read more

We stopped for a drink during their slow season. Even though they aren't dog-friendly, they let us bring our dog on the patio since it was empty. We walked the dog around the park while we enjoyed our drinks and decided to stay for some lunch. Great spot for quick food and drinks! read more

We stayed the weekend in our camper and it was fun!! The campground is clean. It's great having an adults only resort. The pool area is nice. Decent sized lots for campers and tents. I definitely recommend for anyone who wants a kid free trip! read more

The food and drink were ok, but the service is terrible!! We were there for the weekend, so we stopped three different times and it was bad all three! They need to hire more bartenders and do a better job of training on customer service--which was almost non-existent! read more

My husband and I stopped in about a month ago, I had the turkey wrap and he had the broasted chicken. Soooo good! I liked the flavor of my turkey wrap, however his broasted chicken was the best we've ever had! Highly suggest! read more

I travel over 200 days out of the year and I eat and stay at a lot of places and I have never spent the time to review a place, but the service and staff at this restaurant and campsite was so awful that i felt I needed to say something. The moment we check in, it seemed like they were displeased with us staying there. They were rude to several of our guests as well. During breakfast we were the first people to walk in and they ignored us and sat two other groups than we waited another 20 minutes before serving us our plate so we could go to the buffet. They were made that while we waited we went to the bar and ordered our own drinks because "we should have just waited for our waitress" there were maybe 10 other people in the place at this time and the waitress walked by us several times without acknowledging us. Than when it came to getting the check we were all done eating and waiting for 30 minutes, no joke with no one asking if we wanted anything to drink or anything else. So I walked up to the 2 people behind the bar and asked if I could please pay. They said no you have to wait for your waitress i explained how we had been waiting for 30 minutes and she had yet to come over and that I really just needed to pay and leave since it was 1030am and we came in when they opened at 9am. An hour and a half for a buffet. They told me to sit down and wait, and I said no I would like to know how much 1 buffet is so I could just leave the money on the table so I could go. They said "you can't do that and I would have to wait" So I found my waitress and paid than left. She than proceeded to go over to the other 3 people in my group and said they can't break up checks and gave them a bill for 4 buffets even though I just paid. Also they charged us again for the drinks we had already bought at the bar. Than when we brought this up she told them she would have to get a manager to take the extra charges off. My group waited another 20 minutes and left without the refund cause the manager was too busy. So if you don't value money or good service this is a great place to be treated like crap. read more
