We reserved our table online and were able to confirm ahead of time that they were able to accommodate a gluten free diet for one of us at our table. Wow! We just happened to drive by and see this when looking for a late dinner our first night in the Dells. We were able to google it and find out the info and buy our tickets online. At 6:30 they already had entertainment on stage! Get there on time and enjoy the entire show! It's so worth it. This vacation for us was a road trip through 5 states, including stops at a MLB game, a 2 night stay at Kalahari, a tour of Field of Dreams and my 11 year old STILL said the highlight of the trip was this show! And I agree. From the second we arrived until we walked out the door to leave, they had our attention. Food was served family style, all you can eat. Was not going well here from the start. We paid extra to be front and center and arrived early. We were getting very discouraged from everybody around us was getting their food before us who had arrived 1520 minutes after we did we complained not once but twice, and they kept assuring us our food was on its way. We paid extra for a private table and when we arrived we were served right away but was told kitchen was closing so there would be no all you can eat. The entire experience was outstanding! The whole show kept our whole family intrigued and also laughing! The atmosphere and decoration gave the whole show a wild-west/old timey look. Think of it as very high-tech surround sound but not just the sound (even smoke effects!) there were even trained dogs that were very cute, and sound effects made the show WAY better. the food, however, was a whole new level of its own. There was delicious fried chicken, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, soup and coleslaw, and a big apple pastry for dessert. I was thouroughly stuffed! The time and dedication that the chefs and waiters took to cook meals for everyone in the big dinner theater was greatly appreciated. Great show and good food. The performers are truly talented, and there's so many unique surprises during the show that it is absolutely worth it for all ages. Huge portions. The servers are attentive and keep the food coming. Overall the experience is an OK considering the cost but have to give them a good rating recognizing the effort put in by the cast and crew. Interesting that food is served only between 6.00 and 7.00 so you better eat fast and also arrive on time. Aim to get there by 5.30 pm for sure. Hence, it's a family style all you can eat only for an hour. No wonder kids (below 11) eat free. They do say you can continue eating after the show starts but your server disappears completely. You can't get a second serving for anything towards the end of the hour or before the show starts. Seen many shows where they continue service even during the show without too much of a disturbance to the audience. Tipping and gratuity is highly encouraged, so it's easily going to come close to $100 each person on average for the night, They would do well if they would adjust their prices and also allowed service during the service but overall a pricy affair for a family, especially if you have teen kids who don't eat free. read more
