For my 40th birthday we rented a chartered pontoon for the day. The 11 of us loaded the boat with coolers and insanity. Alyssa our driver weathered it all. We cruised, stopped at the bars, dropped in on a bachelorette party, tied up and watched Tommy Bartlett and were generally inappropriate and if I must say so a damn good time. Alyssa took awesome care of all of us and put up with the craziness, held the boat steady for endless shots, toasts, dancing and chugs from a the lube tube. She sang with us and hopefully had as much fun as we did. It was an awesome day at a reasonable price. Kathy made the reservation process super easy and I even got a free sweatshirt for my birthday. Checking in was fast. We rented a pontoon with tube and Lily pad. Took us fifteen minutes to get on the pontoon after our starting time due to it being busy and everyone returning the rentals. I can not say enough about how terrific Steve & his staff are, particularly Alex and Nick. My son and I drove 1000+ miles from the East Coast to spend a few says on a new to us used pontoon we purchased from Dells Watersports. The first day the boat ran perfectly, so when it wouldn't turn over the second day - we weren't sure what to do. We checked everything we could think of, but no luck. It was a Saturday afternoon, so they were very busy, but somehow they managed to free up Alex to come out to Jordan Lake and have a look. It was the one loose bolt we didn't see and the boat was back in the water before Alex even drove away. Steve has knowledgable staff and stands behind his products. And he saved our vacation! My family of 5 rented 2 kayaks and one paddle board for an hour. They were super friendly and since they weren't busy even told us to take 1.5 hours if we wanted (no extra charge... I'm sure they don't always have that luxury but it speaks volumes about their desire to run a business where the customer is first). We had plenty of time for each person to try the stand up paddle board, the river is very scenic. Cost was very reasonable (about $50, the paddle board is the more expensive of the two things we rented). If we ever make it back to the Dells this will be high on our to-do list. read more

I dropped my boat off for servicing after doing a search and reading their positive reviews. This place has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. The service manager Ryan has incredible attention to detail and went way out of the way to ensure my boat was fixed properly and quickly so I did not lose any vacation time. I also met the owner Steve while I was there and he was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to help provide me with the best service possible. All in all, you will not find a better boat shop in the Midwest. Owning a boat can be scary when it comes to maintenance and sometimes very expensive. I rented a pontoon boat for the Castle Rock Lake location. The boat was very nice, but I had a couple of issues. When I booked the rental I was told I could keep the boat overnight and return it at 9:00am the next day for an extra $50. That wasn't the case, they insisted I returned it by 6:00pm the same day. The other issue is they charged me an extra $35 because some paint was missing along the prop edge. Felt like a shake down. read more

We rented from them to specifically tour the river but was told that Lake Delton is locked in by damns after we were already on the water. We re-located to Mirror Lake and the pontoon we were given had a mechanical issue and we had to be towed back to their pier. Half the day was spent waiting for them to fill the gas tank, get some novice teenager to tow us while adhering to a No-Wake rule. The only thing these folks did right was bill our card. They offered no refunds, nor apologies, which makes me think that wasting time = higher profits for them. There are scores of other lakes and rivers. Don't waste your time or money on the Dells or this joint. read more

I've been to them all and this is by far the most friendly, professional, laid-back, down to earth group of people you will ever meet. We rented two WaveRunners and the lady who helped us (the owner I might add) gave us awesome customer service and took the time out to find us a ziplock bag for our phones. After watching a 5 minute video on water safety, we were on our way. We met the staff at the dock and they were the most professional group of young men I've ever encountered. They were super helpful with assisting us on the WaveRunners, made sure we knew what all the controls did and repeated it to make sure we got it. After our 30 minute ride on Lake Delton, we were greeted by the same group of 18 year olds and they offered to take pictures of us on the WaveRunners. If I had cash on me, I would have tipped them royally. They made me, my Wife and Daughter feel at home. When we returned the life vests at the front desk, the owner came to us and said "how was the ride?" I was truly in love with Lake Delton Water Sports, Inc. at that point. Who goes the extra mile to make sure their customers are happy? These folks!!! After I told the owner about our experience and how happy we were, she gave my little girl a free T-Shirt. WOW!!! This place deserves a big 0. We rented 2 old jet skis from this worn down establishment. The ride on the lake was great. The aftermath is a whole different story. After we brought the skis back, and we were walking to our car, mysteriously a small hole appeared on the top of one of the skis. We explained that the hole was not there before we walked away. The workers accused us of crashing the two jet skis, but the position of the hole on the top of the ski did not coincide with this allegation, and I guess it was just a strange coincidence that one of the workers was holding a rubber hammer in his hand. The owner came out yelling racial slurs (you people and so on). They tried to collect a total of $1000 from our cards for damage they had done themselves. This place is old and worn down just like the owner. They are racists and scam artists. Stay clear of this eyesore!!!! read more

If I could I would give zero stars for terrible customer service. We had reserved jet skis for the day and two of the kids in our group ended up sick after breakfast. The other people in our party were on their way and we got a very rude phone call wondering where we were at. We informed this person that they were on their way but would actually need two less jet skis because of sick kids (mind you still right in he middle of dealing with two crying sick kids). This "lady" was so nasty telling us how we should have called ahead of time and would not let us get in a word to explain the situation. Very very unprofessional. Also let me know that she is "trying to run a business". As if canceling two of the five skis we reserved was going to really hurt her business at the Dells. She was not understanding in the least bit and I would never again spend my money at this place. Customer service is everything in my opinion and this person was the nastiest employee I've ever encountered. read more
