Dr. Large and the staff at Benson View took such wonderful care of our precious aging kitty to her…read morelast day, always taking the time to answer any questions or address our concerns and always helping our sweet girl feel safe. We started with Dr. Large at another clinic but once we discovered she had moved to Benson View, we followed her there very quickly where we found the ladies at reception always kind and helpful over the phone or in person. Dr. Large was not only wonderful with our cat but also caring about us as pet parents, recognizing that we would do almost anything to keep our girl as comfortable and as happy as can be for as long as possible and there were times we could have been charged much more than we were. We will be forever grateful that she introduced us to Solensia to help with a very difficult paw problem (and to the kind techs who administered it for her) and that she discovered hyperthyroidism as a cause of severe digestive upset when another clinic did not even test for it prior to the surgery that seemed to trigger it. Dr. Large was very kind when it was discovered a few months ago that our girl likely had GI lymphoma, supporting us in our choice to not putting our fragile kitty through another surgery to definitively diagnose it when we knew we could not put her through chemo. The steroids (that would help either condition) worked very well for a few months until came the time to make the very difficult decision in a pet parent's life. We had been rather traumatized by the euthanasia of our previous kitty in a different city and were very apprehensive. We and our sweet little girl felt very supported by all of the staff at Benson View on her last day, having our own quiet room to go through the process of her passing, giving us time and privacy and it was a much more gentle experience for all of us. It may be some time before we are ready to have another special kitty enter our lives but when we do, we will definitely take any future pets to Benson View for care!

The groomers there also listened with compassion as I recounted a near fatal attack by a vicious homeless man's dog that my boy had just recuperated they were compassionate and took special care of of my boy.I have never written a YELP review before and if I could award more than 5 stars I would! Unlike other vets we tried, they didn't try to make us run every test and seems to walk the right line between doing what is right for the dogs health without inflating the bill. The front office is super competent and helpful. They answer the phone and where available to see our pet immediately. They seem to be much more competent than the other vet offices we have been to. Hammond Bay Animal Hospital is top notch.

She figured out the difference of what I was over charged and handed me the money which I felt was incorrect. I asked to return the item . Apparently they "are not set up" to reverse the charge. We do not have a dog but are the grandparents to five…read moredogs...we often have our sweet grand dogs when their parents have errands or are away on business or short vacations. I have brought the pups here for nail trims, new kibble because they have grown weary of the kibble they have had, or little check ups... I recommend them for competence and patience with the dogs.
