This Delta thing isn't so bad. The in-flight entertainment and wifi was great, the meal was okay, the snacks were ample, but starting off with a flight delay kinda makes me miss the consistency we've enjoyed with Southwest... but it was only one delay, and we were boarding in a little over an hour, so not too bad in the scheme of things. Visited the newest Sky Club at MSP on Concourse G. The space is huge and really beautifully decorated. There is lots of available seating and several places to grab food and drinks. However, all of the seating was pretty narrow and I found myself wanting a bit more space. However, I think that's just a constraint of who the space is meant to serve. The food was standard fare for a Sky Club. They had two espresso machines and multiple pots of coffee. The staff was great and was constantly available for questions. I really appreciated the "all gender" restrooms. In many other Sky Clubs, there are only gender specific options so I really appreciated the inclusiveness of this space. Though you enter the Sky Club is on the first floor, you need to go up to the second floor but the space is accessible via two elevators. Overall, I really enjoyed my visit here and will definitely prioritize visiting this location over the two others when I'm at MSP read more

I have been a loyal Delta customer for years (and I travel a lot for work) but I have to say that the gate agents at MSP are some of the worst of all of the airports that I travel to and from (and I go through LAX quite a bit). About 50% of the agents are so disinterested in helping anyone and do the absolute bare minimum. I will continue to fly with Delta because in fairness I fly out of Boise and I can't complain about the service there. MSP needs to do a better job at training the Delta gate agents or do a better job at hiring people who want to do their job. read more

Delta are you kidding me? Having these three gates board at the same time what an incredible nightmare. People everywhere and it is hotter than a cricket on a June bug up in here. I couldn't have hated Delta more until today and it's definitely my least favorite airline. Complete nightmare of travel started by weather issues today. Delta Concourse G - Total cluster. I HATE DELTA - Airport Terminals Near Me - Saint Paul, Minnesota

They have done a nice reconstruction of the C Terminal at MSP. It stretches out the C1 to C8 compared to sticking them together. The downside was the removal of the Daily Queen. This used to be a favorite stop for ice cream if walking by towards the D or B Terminals. Nice display of artwork and culture, which helps with the walk vs. taking the train to the other side of the airport. read more

I have no major qualms with Delta Concourse G, other than it requires a brisk and long walk to enter in and out of it, and that they've littered it with sub-par food options. Compared to other dated sections of the airport, though, G has the following: - iPads at just about every table, including "inside" restaurants. - Numerous charging stations and outlets. - Open convenience "stores" with plenty of snacks and Minnesota-themed gear (including your favorite sports teams). - Plush seats. - Modern and clean bathrooms. I'd plan to walk 10-15 minutes of walking if your gates fall somewhere between 14-22. read more

It was everything I dreamed it would be. There are no words... I will say that a lazy Delta counter person almost made us miss our flight when she stated that our flight was now AFTER the flight currently on the board and when we approached her a second time 10 minutes later, confused about the logistics, she admitted that the computer was down and she had no idea about our flight info. Checking into the customer help area, they told us our gate had a last minute change and we ran. *eye roll* read more

Ohhh yes did I just get some wonderful flight/travel advice from a Delta employee who has no clue who I am and what flight I'm actually traveling (Secret: I actually work at the airport and wanted some quality flight pricing advice) . Knowing that, he didn't ask if I was traveling Delta today, he just answered all my silly travel budgeting questions. His name is Tim Brandon and he's beyond awesome, he's a service agent and worked today in concourse F-G near the beginning of the F gates. I had so many questions regarding buddy passes through Delta and general flight prices and when the best time to fly out. He gave me any answer and even looked specific quotes o his computer. Loved this service & half way expected it from the trusty Delta employees. Don't listen to the bad reviews, Delta workers can be extremely hospitable if you just approach them with the right attitude and aren't carrying a load of baggage with you. 4 stars well given read more

We visited the lounge on a early morning layover from HNL to BNA. Pretty good selection of breakfast foods and drink. The furniture is a bit beat up but I think they may be in the process of upgrading. Bathrooms were very clean. The main reasons for a 2 star review is because this is the NOISIEST Sky Lounge I have ever visited. I mean is was awful. I do believe it would be quieter at the gate. Also, I had difficulty finding a working outlet to charge my phone (plug or USB). I really cannot get over the amount of loud taking, dishes clanking, and other random noises. Only staying because we wanted to eat, have some coffee, and we found two seats for my wife and I that had a working charging stations. read more

The entire MSP airport is set up differently, with restaurants and store literally integrated into the gates. You're pretty much eating in the waiting area of your gate, which is convenient. All of the seats were equipped with iPads for ordering food, surfing the internet, or checking flight schedules. There were also restrooms near the gate. I was impressed with the set up and commend the airport for designing its concourse this way. read more

This high-tech, glitzy, iPad-overrun restaurant at the end of Delta's Concourse G at the MSP Airport isn't quite ready for prime time. My Visa receipt says Vero, but I don't know if this is where my wife and I bought sandwiches to take on our Delta MSP to SFO flight. The iPads need a menu icon. It took me a minute or so to figure out that I needed to input my destination in order to view the menu. Then I had to scroll up and down to find what I wanted, the menu didn't list what came with a sandwich. I had to pay by credit card when I ordered (no cash accepted), and enter a gratuity BEFORE I met the waitperson, and before I knew whether his or her level of service merited a big tip, a small one, or perhaps none at all. The ordering process was counterintuitive: the waitperson when he appeared didn't know much about the menu items, brought my wine in a plastic cup (I ordered the sandwich to go, not the wine). Apparently the iPad (on which our waitperson entered our order) couldn't figure that out. I ordered and paid for a glass and a half of wine, but it didn't look as though that's what I received. The food wasn't that spectacular (the chipotle mustard on my ham and cheese sandwich was way too spicy and flavorless); my wife's veggie sandwich was slightly better. The table-mounted iPads, which face each customer, cycle ads, which annoyed me, so I laid the two iPads on my table face down. Ambiance: garish light. This place isn't relaxing, or even inviting. But, it was all that was available. I'd rather relax in a nice sit down airport restaurant that has knowledgeable waitstaff, and pleasant, subdued ambiance. One star for a high tech concept, which everybody seems to rave about, but which I found lacking in personality, charm, and convenience. read more
