Awful company to do business with . First of all when we started with them their tank was already on the premises , we figured it would just be easier to get an account with them , big mistake . The tank was at 80% and the realtor told us that the propane inside the tank belonged to us as we purchased the property. They decided that the propane didn't belong to us and that they were going to refund the previous owner for the propane in the tank and that we needed to pay for the propane already in the tank. We said fine but know that never happened. Secondly they show up announcement whenever they feel like it , no date set up for delivery , thirdly their customers service person , ( Katie) is very rude an unable to deal with any issues , claims she needs to talk to her manager and get back to us and never did. We finally called and canceled service , again Katie said she was going to have her manager call us back , instead they decided to send a driver to pick up the tank , without contacting us or setting up a date for the removal, the rude driver stated that we don't need to be there and that he was gonna do what they told him to do , in this case trespass into my back yard and disconnect and plug the tank. My dogs wouldn't allow it. But he was ready to break the law and trespass into my property. Complete nightmare of a company to deal with . Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for your propane needs , we did and the propane is even cheaper . read more

My mom moved into a house in Elizabeth Lake that had enough propane for the summer and we just forgot to set up an account until the heater used it all up in October. I have lived in 4 different houses in this area where it is necessary to use Propane. I am so happy that Delta is my provider in the home I bought! They are friendly, helpful, informative and do what they say will do when they say they will do it. Setting up my account was easy thanks to Carol. she guides you through and explains so you can make the right choices for you. Scott came and did a thorough inspection of the tank, regulator and all propane appliances, and decided that the regulator needed replacing. He then completed a leak check and finished paperwork with me. He then advised that the tank would be filled within 30 minutes and it absolutely was. i wish I had switched to Delta sooner. No other propane company offers this level of service and care. read more

I just wanted to drop a note of support for Delta Liquid Energy in Lancaster. I've had DLE for 25 years. The delivery drivers are always polite, professional and accommodating. They have always been available and willing to help me no matter what I needed and came like clock work to fill my tanks. Once, just before a snow storm was expected, my fault, I ran my tank empty. Had gone from a regular bi monthly stop off to will-call since I wasn't using so much fuel and I totally just blanked out on keeping watch. They came within a couple hours (they are over 60 miles from me) to make sure I had what I needed to weather the storm.... filled my tank, checked my water heater, came in, tested the oven and stove and cloths dryer as well as my heater. It took awhile for the fuel to run its course through the house and he stayed and was patient and caring so to make sure every appliance was working well. I hear about the other guys pricing and know that Delta has always been fair and on par with the market. Anyone can offer you a cheaper price to move over to their service... but that doesn't last long and often sadly that's the service you pay for... wonder if anyone else would have shown up for me during a snow storm. Either way... they have been loyal to me, and so I am happy to support them. read more

If there's a zero star, this would be it. First, they almost burnt my house during the initial inspection. The inspector, as he was checking all appliances linked to the gas, he turned my oven ON and left. Good thing, my nanny smelled a burning smell and we saw our kitchen was full of smoke from the oven. Second, we called 3 days ago about removing our autofill. We prefer it manual this time. However, the admin was not able make the changes coz apparently she was "new". So the truck came and refilled my tank without us knowing. He opened our gate and let himself in! Didnt even tied to contact us on the phone or whatvwr. They just did it anyway. We spoke to the manager and all he said was "sorry, my staff was new. She forgot" He was so rude he wont even let me Finish talking. He laid option like a staggered payment etc. But money isnt the issue here. They jeopardized my family's safety! They went inside my private property, refilled my tank without my approval. Recently moved and Delta was on site of new property purchased. First they honored the rental for the bottle, secondly their office staff communicated well and was signed up without an issue. Had some need to have propane items hooked up and they were able to assist as well. I am sure with my recent move I have forgotten something. But will continue to use them. Sure they may at times be more expensive but don't hesitate to talk with them. read more

We had ACE 1 Propane service and for over 12 years had perfect service. Not 1 time were we left with no propane. Not 1 time was there an issue with our service. Delta purchased ACE 1 Propane and within 60 days of the takeover we were left with no Propane during a snow storm in January 2022. They had nothing but attitude towards us and even went as far to blame the issue on us. When the driver came to fill our tank he stated that keeping tanks full was ACE 1 Propanes deal and they don't do that, they fill when they think we are going to need a full refill. I called the office and was given many excuses by their manager and he stated they just need time to get a history with us and our use to keep things under control. Stupidly we fell for his lies and sales pitch and signed up for their program. Well here we are 1 year later and again heading into a snow storm and once again are completely out of propane. DELTA Liquid Energy is about the worst propane company I have ever dealt with in my entire life.......and I've dealt with a lot of different propane companies. I strongly recommend going with any other propane company in the Antelope Valley. read more

I was desperately in need of fixing my portable 3 compartment sink, which I had built. Couldn't figure out why it stopped working after the first use. I took pictures of the water heater and he realized that a regulator from the tank to the propane tank wasn't provided. He didn't have it in stock and actually sent me to three other places to try and get the piece since I needed it and before I would order it through them. The other companies didn't have all the parts I needed. I called him and he ordered it for me. He bent over backwards to make sure I had the piece on time. I just had to pay for shipping since they already put in their big order for the day and I couldn't wait until the next order was to be placed. During my food vending event, my brand new deep fryer didn't work. Thank God I had a spare fryer. I went there with it today and spoke with Doug since Manny was out. Again, a regulator is needed and I was informed that the propane tank I have was too small for that fryer and it would freeze up half way through. He told me to either get a larger tank and gave me instructions on how to unfreeze it until I get a large tank (I already bought one from them a few years back and still have it.) I was suppose to go back this afternoon to see Manny about ordering the parts I need for the fryer, but got busy and will definitely be going tomorrow. I've delt with them a handful of times in the past few years and they've always been great. read more

Prompt professional service! If that is what you're looking for then check out Delta Liquid Energy (DLE) for your propane service needs. We just switched to DLE. I have to tell you, Don the Service Technician that installed our tank did an outstanding job. He battled the mud, horizontal rain (from the Tehachapi wind, duh, lol) snow and cold winds to complete the tank install and transfer of propane from our old tank into the DLE tank. He then pressure checked the propane line and checked all our propane appliances. He was very polite and professional throughout the process and answered all my technical questions. Our install basically started a few months ago. In late Summer I called DLE to check on propane rates while considering switching to DLE from a different propane supplier that was charging higher per gallon rates. Carol, the local District Sales Manager, answered all my questions. At the time we were not positive what the size of our old tank was. I thought it was 250-300 gallons. Shortly after our first phone conversation, Carol stopped by and confirmed we had a 325 gallon tank. Our old propane provider had just filled the tank and I wanted to run down the tank a bit before switching over to DLE. Carol worked with us to schedule the switch. Don and Carol are valuable assets to DLE. It was a pleasure working with the both of them. This was a very smooth transfer of service. If your thinking about switching your propane service provider in Tehachapi, I highly recommend looking into DLE. I've waited a bit to give this review because I wanted to back up and take a look at what happened. I still haven't figured it out. Basically, after years of spotty customer service I picked up the phone and called around and found another company. Yes, it was inconvenient to have to change tanks. But, the propane service was so unpleasant at times that the past year I was seriously considering changing all appliances to electric so I wouldn't have to deal with the phone calls and delivery. In the past, a couple of the propane delivery people were fantastic. And, sometimes the office people were pleasant and professional. But, not always. Some people are just not customer service oriented and they really should not be talking to customers. Basically, it boils down to the way people treat people. If an entire company has an underlying belief in customer service, it shows. If there is a derogatory and disrespectful attitude toward customers, it has a way of surfacing enough times that the customers can't help but notice. What matters is how a customer feels after they hang up the phone to schedule a delivery or how a customer feels when the delivery person is driving away. A day came, after calling for a refill to be scheduled, that I hung up feeling that I had been treated rudely. Again. And, I decided it was going to be the last time. I got online, looked for another company, and changed propane companies. Hopefully the new propane company will be better. If not, I'll change to all electric appliances and not deal with rudeness and poor customer service and the hassle of having to get refills. Cooking with propane is not worth it. read more

Delta Liquid Energy Lancaster CA was our lifesaver!!! We just moved into the Lake Hughes area...NEVER had a "relationship" with propane energy. We learned (the hard way) how necessary propane is for functioning on a daily basis. We also learned not all propane companies are created equal. Delta was fast to come to our assistance; set up our tank/account and educated us on the use and how-to's of propane, including safety tips. I would advise not doing business with Delta. They charged me an annual fee of $100 just to have the bottle on the property I was renting. Also, when I couldn't afford at the time to have the bottle filled up entirely, I asked them if I could get 25%. They refused and told me that there is a 60% minimum and they wouldn't send a truck out just for 25%. Even though the trucks were in my neighborhood quite often. This was a 200 gallon bottle. I cancelled my service and had them remove the bottle. read more

Our home is currently serviced by Suburban Propane and they charge some pretty hefty fees. I see Delta Liquid Energy trucks around quite a bit for deliveries so I thought they might be a perfect alternative. I called in to get a quote and found the representative to be very short on the phone as if I wasting their time. I provided callback information that would be forwarded to the sales rep, but they never called. Most businesses have to pay for customer acquisition, but Delta apparently doesn't need new customers. read more
