This Delta Sky Club at gate B32 was what I needed after experiencing some drama in my ticketing. The great thing about the lounges is stepping away from the chaos of the terminal into a calm place where you can eat and chillax with something good to sip. This lounge is not at the top of the list of lounges, but it is good enough to enjoy a nice lunch before boarding your flight. They had a Carolina barbecue pork dish and a barbecue tofu dish that was actually very good. A meat eater would not miss the meat. Accompanied by rie and a red cabbage and beets cole slaw and I was good. The chicken salad sandwiches were strong as usual. Pro Tip: the chicken sandwichs are always remarkably strong at every Delta Sky Club. I was in and out in less than an hour, but that was enough time to enjoy these little strawberry shortcake desserts they prepared in little glasses. Nice touch Delta! 3.6 stars! read more

Love looking at the planes landing and taking off. Nicely decorated. So many workers! Make sure the food is just right and place the tongs in the right position if someone messes up. Folks coming to clear our plates. Impressed they had a vegan thai red curry soup and foccacia bread- very good! Then had a veggie wrap and salads and roasted veggies. Pleased to see they had pickled red onion and crunchy chili oil. Great place to hang for our 2.5 hr layover. And always use their restrooms bc so much nicer! read more

Wow, I thought Qantas lounges were crappy. Turns out, it can get even worse. Food selection: very average. Some stuff bagels, flavorless eggs, and oatmeal. Coffee: bitter and awful. Accompanying guest fee: $50. Alcohol - not included! At least at Qantas I can get a few glasses of an average wine before I fly. Go to one of the cafes in the terminal instead. read more

I love this sky lounge! There is a good variety of seating options and they are great at keeping the areas clean. I would say the food options are good, not great. I have definitely had better in other lounges. I do like the variety of bagel/cream cheese options here at breakfast! The bar is a little small for how big the space is. Note that this is often at capacity at rush hour! I have had to wait 20-30 minutes sometimes, but they are usually good at keeping the line moving. read more

Up the escalators They have self-check-in kiosks. The food is to the right and the restrooms are to the left. There are nice boothed tables to work with and from too. There are actually a lot of different sections and seating options around here. I like the layout of this lounge. The turkey sausage isn't too had, not dry at least and has a bit of spice to it too. I do like their oatmeal barhelps to make a really good one for a great morning start. My husband had to get his last NY bagel with everything with some chive cream cheese. Pretty nice lounge, it gets very crowded given the rise in travel the past two years post-Covid, so expect to wait even if you have some type of status or have benefits via a delta credit card. So much so that it's not necessarily guaranteed you'll get into the lounge if you only have between 30-45 minutes before your boarding time. Waits can easily go over an hour at peak times. They separate into two lines, one if you have gold/diamond status on Delta or are flying business and above, and one for everyone else. They prioritize the former so unfortunately if you're in the latter group you'll have to wait until most of the first group enter. That being said once you're inside it's crowded but you can usually find a seat or two together. Food is served in the form of a double buffet line--one long counter with two duplicate set-ups meeting in the middle. There's also a Nathan's hot dog cart serving NY style hot dogs. There are options for drinks--tea, coffee, soft drinks and juice, and a full manned bar for those who want something stronger. The buffet line changes out food options for breakfast, lunch and dinner hours, and the food is in the top 20% compared to your average airport lounge food. Other amenities include an outdoor patio, a business center, flight status screens and some niche magazines. The bathrooms are supplied with Malin + Goetz hand soap and lotion, and are generally in good shape. read more

We were in New York for Thanksgiving and flew out of JFK. We flew Delta and were able to utilize the Delta Skyclub. It was very crowded being the Thanksgiving holiday week and getting in was a bit of a challenge. The staff were very nice and helpful, and the club itself was well kept. The food was good, and the pastries were delicious. It was a nice place to spend a couple hours before a 5 hour flight. read more

Even though my flight was out of gate A, decided to stop by here. I actually came in beyond the 3 hours rule... when I checked in via the Kiosk, it tagged me for it, but the nice lady told me to go see the person behind the counter and they let me in without any fuss. They were serving breakfast - the potato was good, sausage was decent and the egg were decent. Plenty of drink options, from the bar, to fountain machines to water, etc. The place was large, didn't have any issues with finding a seat. No wait to get in either. Enjoyed the time here and after an hour, left to check out the other Skyclub :) read more

The older, but larger of the two Delta Skyclubs located in Terminal 4 of JFK, this medium size lounge in concourse B, has a small buffet with breakfast items. The instructions state it is located between Gate 31 and 33, and can be easy to miss. One takes an elevator from the gate level to above. It has similar rules as other Sky Clubs: entry up to 3 hours before departure time and arriving flights are allowed in the club. We flew into JFK on a Wednesday morning on the LA redeye, and was hungry for breakfast. Because it was mid-morning (8ish), the club wasn't crowded and gave us the opportunity to find a seat with a nice view of the terminal tarmac. Delta serves Starbucks brand coffee in its SkyClubs, and has eversys coffee machines to make custom ground lattes and expressos. Breakfast had some hot items, including roasted mini-potatoes which seems to be a standard at the clubs. There was plenty of fresh fruit and continental breakfast items as well. Each club has a different layout, based on the available space at the airport, and this one was more winding than others we have been to (it must be a fun job being interior architect for these clubs). We spent about 30 minutes, getting caffeinated, and planning for our trip into Manhattan via the subway. Both JFK Skyclubs have been in the news as examples of severe overcrowding at the Delta Skyclubs. When we came back to the airport a couple days later to fly back to LA, we did notice that the other club in concourse A had huge lines for the dinner rush. There seems to be a long wait to get into this club no matter what time of day. We walked by it the first time since we knew we couldn't go in and there was a line. Came back an hour later and we stood in line for 20 minutes only to be turned away since we were 15 minutes early with their new time restrictions...we thought with the wait we'd hit it just right, but we thought wrong! HA! Be aware of the time restrictions for sure because they stick to them. We quite literally waited downstairs by the door for 10 minutes, and then they let us in 5 minutes early. It is packed in there and you'll need your patience to wait on a seat for sure. But once you find a seat...relax and enjoy the food, drink, and Wi-Fi. Sooner or later people have to leave for a flight...then you can change seats if need be. The food is fresh and they keep it replenished. There is quite a nice variety of food so it's easy to see why people wait to get in here. However, there is nothing for takeaway and/or prepackaged as some clubs offer. It's big inside, but the food is not so good. Not many choices also. The host are usually extremely nice at most Sky Delta lounges, but here, they were only, "OK", but I understand why. Some of the passengers traveling are freakin RUDE to them, so the hosts are on guard, and I don't blame them for being on guard. I was hoping the host would kick out this guy who called her a "bitch" after he tried to walk in without presenting anything. She checked him and said she'd have him kicked out for talking to her like that, he quickly apologized. Only two stars because, their food wasn't that good, they only had apple strudels for dessert, just undesirable. They didn't have any apples or bananas to take with me, just some chips. Maybe I'm spoiled from the other lounges, but this lounge just doesn't hold up, unfortunately. Oh, they also have a FULL BAR, for those of you who drink. This is a great sky club with a lot of room, as you would expect for JFK New York airport. Food is exactly what you would expect in an airport lounge. I would say things that are supposed to be hot; we're hot, things that we're supposed to be cold or cold. One of the things that is kind of neat is they have a sky deck with a Nathan's hotdog stand outside. Hotdog, get a drink sit outside and watch the planes and all the activity. I like that area. When you go into this lounge, I recommend you walk all the way through it there's so many different areas and different types of seating. It would help to look around to see what suits your needs best. The bar is bustling, and the staff there works like crazy. While I was there, they were four bartenders, and they were all doing their best to keep up, and they were doing a great job of it. Lounges like this make travel so much better. This club is very spacious however it does get packed and if you're traveling with more than you 2 it might difficult to find few empty seats. I was here on a Friday night and it was little crowded at first but then emptied out. The food selection was small about 4 main dishes with few appetizers and fresh cut fruit but everything was very fresh and tasty! I don't understand how people complain about this place yea it can get little crowded and it doesn't have top tier food selection but common a simple sandwich in the terminal will run you about $15 and most of the seating is taken. I also have to mention the staff here is very friendly and overall it's a very clean club! read more

This Delta lounge is located in the JFK International Airport at the Delta terminal. You HAVE to be flying Delta and have a Platinum American Express or some sort of Delta credit card. (I'm not exactly sure, we have the Amex card) to access this lounge. If you have a companion flying with you and they don't have the card it's a $39 charge for them to enter. There are some rules that apply to enter and they are strict. You are only allowed 3 hours in the lounge, UNLESS you have a connecting flight. If you have a connecting flight, I believe you are allowed to stay until your flight departs. The way they control this is, when you arrive to the lounge you have to show your boarding pass. It can't be more than 3 hours before your flight! If it is they absolutely won't let you in. I have seen them turn people away! When We arrived at this lounge there was a line with a wait to get in. As we waited on line a staff member came down the line offering everyone bottled water and a choice of 2 different types of cookies. I figured the wait wouldn't be long because it's an airport with people constantly coming & going. I was correct, we didn't wait on line longer than 5 minutes. This lounge is huge! There are many, many seating areas with people coming & going! They have many different types of chairs most with tables. There are coffee machines with cappuccino & latte. There is a buffet of food, salad, soup. They have a huge bar for cocktails which is included. They have soda machines, iced tea and pink lemonade. I personally got some vodka shots and added it to my pink lemonade. They are constantly adding and replenishing the different foods. There is also an outdoor area called the sky Deck to sit and watch the planes coming and going. It's very cool!! Outside there was a Nathan's Hot Dog Cart with hot dogs and huge pretzels!! This lounge is amazing! The staff at this lounge all work hard and are pleasant and constantly cleaning up! The lounge as well as the bathrooms are very clean. It's a much more comfortable way to spend your time waiting at the airport, especially if you're traveling internationally!! This is a remarkably busy Delta Sky Club. I very much agree with the changes that Delta Sky Club will start as of January 2023. Delta will enhance the clubs by decreasing the easy passenger access and I believe they will overall improve the quality for the traveling passengers experience. This thing is MASSIVE like you could legit get lost in here. It is a good thing though because it was, somehow, pretty crowded despite the ample space to spread out. We were able to find decent seating which I can't say for every other lounge we have been in. The food was good and I appreciated the vegetarian and vegan options. Unfortunately, I picked up a plate that had mashed potatoes stuck on the bottom which sucks for whoever had the plate underneath. I'm surprised they didn't notice that when they were packing the plates. What else do they not notice? Staff could have been nicer but full disclosure I did just spend some time in the South so maybe my expectations are inappropriately high. I walked over to the bar and wasn't acknowledged for a bit so I went over to another cart that was serving wine and settled for what they had. It's better than dicking around in the terminal with the PLEBS but there is room for improvement. read more

As far as airport lounges go, Delta Skyclub at JFK T4 is pretty good when compared to others. A good selection of charcuterie, warm entrees, soup and salads are available. Members may enjoy complimentary wine, champagne, and other drinks. There's also a full bar for top shelf drinks. Only negative is that this Lounge is always filled to capacity and often overcrowded with frequent short lines to enter. read more

Got in right away... charging ports next to the table. Food was really good. I had jerk shrimp with green veggies. Also had some delicious cheese cake. They have a variety of drinks included as well both alcoholic and non alcoholic. The only issue and it's not with the club is the bathroom. Some females apparently don't know how to pee in the toilet and peed on the seat and on the floor. The maintenance lady cleaned it up though as soon as she got back. She was really nice. This review concerns the Delta Skyclub near Gate B32 in Terminal 4 at JFK. For better or for worse, I've traveled mainly on United and essentially never on Delta. I had a United Club card in my wallet until COVID shut everything down and used the card to visit (and write Yelp reviews of) plenty of United Clubs in the US and abroad. My group gained admission to this Skyclub because a price anomaly made it very attractive to buy Delta business class seats on our way back from a trip to the Big Apple. We thus had what Delta refers to as a "mixed cabin experience": the back of the bus (on Delta) going east and fancy seats coming back. United calls some of its transcontinental flights "premium service" and opens United Clubs to departing passengers when that's possible. (The United flights from JFK to SFO never had lounge possibilities because United never got a club going near its JFK gates.) We wondered whether analogously the Delta Skyclub might be open to SFO passengers with business class tickets. It turns out that Delta does indeed allow SFO-bound business class passengers to use its club in JFK terminal 4; as far as I can tell, this fact was not advertised anywhere and you just had to ask. The Delta Skyclub had many features that I recognized from the competition, but overall it was better. The outdoor SkyDeck seemed really cool, but it was closed when we visited (early morning on a Saturday). This club was quite spacious -- another plus. It had drinkable espresso and food that I considered to be good. Needless to say, there's free WiFi and lots of outlets for charging. What's not to like? If I start traveling a lot once again, I'll consider getting a fancy credit card that will open doors to the airline clubs. And I might even consider flying more often on Delta. read more

When possible I get to the airport early enough to have plenty of time to relaxxxx on my way to the sky club. Not only do i love the energy of the spirit of travel circulating among the people, it also allows for airport enjoyment extras ... like opting out at security, stopping for a 30 min back massage, picking up an extra charging cord, even having my boots shined... and this new thing - having my glasses washed and disinfected in 2 minutes! Then there's time to wait in the line outside the skyclub... who knows how long you will be waiting for seats to open up? And also the time to find the perfect available seat (since there are so many styles available), and the lines at the food and the bar and the bathroom... all which take time so that you can finally enjoy the hot entree or soup and variety of cold salad or fruit... espresso tea and cookies... time to charge your phone, time to tie up loose ends, to call your loved ones, or simply to really appreciate the feel of the ground beneath your feet before you are up flying with an eagle view, or just above the cloud line, or with the moon... So thanks skyclub for the seats and the decent food and the view, and thank you to the hard working people who are serving my drinks and cleaning up my dirty dishes. The warming lamps make it comfortable even when the weather is cool. Both visit days were a Tuesday and featured the same menu. read more

Worst sky club I have been at, rude, dirty, overly crowded. Not sure how all these people and their kids get in here. So glad when they limit entrance in February and raise cost of companions to $50pp. Hopefully lines will lessen. It's very upsetting to come here as a business traveler and have to wait. read more

The food was cold and they were all out of beer and wine, and when we got back The JFK airport again they were out of wine and this food sucks bad and cannot keep up with the amount of people here!!
