Access here came via AA Flagship Business (think: lie-flat business class on the A321T) -- if you've got access be sure to use it and get in! The lounge is ENORMOUS. Like, way bigger than you'd expect, and I think a lot of people don't wander past the main area... but do yourself a favor and head to the back. It's quieter, less crowded, and honestly where the good stuff is. The back room (called The Bride) is where you can order off an actual menu and grab cocktails, vs. the buffet/self-serve situation up front. Food & Drink: * Brooklyn Sour cocktail: Ordered this at The Brig and enjoyed it. * Plowman's Lunch (prosciutto, blue cheese, cheddar, bread): A solid charcuterie-ish spread. Great snack. * Tavern Burger and Fries: They noted these come as smaller sliders, so we each got one. Basic and good! Fries though were skippable, maybe ask to skip the fries and try chips instead? * Spring ravioli pasta (buffet): Tasty! Worth grabbing from the self-serve spread. * Not able to try: a Brooklyn Brewery sour. It was listed on the board (in the brewery room) but had already been swapped out without updating the board. Mildly annoying! Other perks: water bottle fill station, cleaner bathrooms than the terminal, and a nice view of the planes from the main area. Pretty decent for a stateside lounge. Came by early around 9:30am on a Monday morning and the lounge was fairly empty, maybe at 7-8% capacity. It's located past security, immediately after you exit the security area make a left and within a couple minutes walk, follow signs directing you upstairs above Gate 12 to the second floor area where this lounge is located. Walking in, the lobby area is very open and check-in was easy, just show your oneworld status, credit card and/or ticket for certain flight classes, then head towards the left down a brightly lit hallway inside. Upon entering there is a configuration of lounge chairs and dining tables directly to your front left, food and drink is to your right in the form of a buffet counters, refrigerator for chilled drinks, wine and liquor, espresso machine and tea station. Since it was morning, breakfast options were set out: fruit, oatmeal, scrambled eggs, breads, sausage and bacon. There's a toaster for bread and condiments like butter, jam, ketchup and pepper, brown sugar, cinnamon and raisins for oatmeal. Walking past the food area there are more private booths with runway views to the right, and much more seating towards the back. The size impressed me, it felt about 70% as big as the larger Delta Sky Club in Terminal 4. Apparently there are QR codes that can be scanned for made-to-order food though I didn't have time to try this. Open 4:15am-1:15am. Bathrooms available and in decent shape. Staff were prompt in keeping tables tidy. There were signs for a Tasting Room though I didn't get a chance to look more into it. read more

Greenwich Lounge. What a nice perk for flying Hawaiian Airlines! When we checked in for our flight from New York to Honolulu, we had elected to pay the price for a first class ticket for the long flight home. Having done so, we were delighted to find out that we could enter the airline lounge while we waited for our flight. This lounge also includes American Airlines and British Airways members. Finding the entrance to the lounge was easy as the signage and instructions provided were clear and signs visible. You take an elevator up to the lounge and there is a front area where your tickets are checked along with your identification. Then the fun and relaxation begins. The lounge is expansive. Tables, nooks, couches, and more are available for you to hang out, work, socialize and so much more. There is a variety of alcoholic beverages and non alcoholic beverages available here for your consumption. Hot and cold foods are also offered here. Want a shower? They have it here as well! Service here is great and efficient. Clearing off your dishes, replenishing the hot and cold foods for your continued consumption. We could get used to this! An enjoyable experience. read more

Nothing beats a cute lounge during a long layover. Was flying out to SE Asia and while heading to The Centurion Lounge, i saw this lounge and decided to venture in. We settled in because it was situated in close proximity to our departure gate. This lounge is pretty spacious with at least four different sections, showers, robust bar, healthy and not so healthy options and more importantly space to space out. We settled in the "brewery" and ordered some bites from that menu (brussel sprouts were incredible), the sliders were just "ok". The lounge chairs were so comfy and a perfect space to spend a couple of hours before a LONGGGG flight. read more

This lounge is located at JFK Terminal 8. You have to take the elevator up to access it. The lounge receptionists' hospitality vary. One guy was snobbish and seemed to not want to assist us when we arrived so I went to the next receptionist. We went out of the lounge and came back in again and another female receptionist was more accommodating and had a more positive vibe. I guess the staffs' mood and personality depends on the time of the day. The lounge was huge. There were different portions for your different needs. The food selection was decent (we were there for breakfast) and there's different areas you can stay at. We stayed at the Tasting room (because it has a booth and it's where you can order food from their menu. Although the food selection came in small portions and the selection varies daily), by the window seated on a lounge chair with foot stool where you're in front of a ceiling high window with the view of the tarmac and the Bridge Bar because it's more private since not much people stay there. They also have other nice areas to stay at like the quiet room (but we have a baby so we can't really stay there), play area for kids, computer section if you need to use one and they also have a printer, different bars where you can get a drink (or more) among others. The place was nice and clean and I would definitely recommend it if you can access it. It's easy to pass the time in this place. read more

Given that most people JFK terminals are not connected after security, and a lot of the NYC travelers are more interested in United and Delta, this lounge ends up being very pleasant during every visit I've been, where the immense square footage greatly outnumbers the number of guests using the lounge. In the mornings, this lounge is just your standard lounge, with breakfast buffet options, drink machines, and a self-serve bar. What shines here is that AA offers lounge access on arrival for domestic flights that don't require security clearance, which is particularly great for their transcon redeyes, as this is a great refuel point to grab a quick bite, some caffeine, and perhaps even a shower before proceeding into the city. When the morning has passed is when this lounge gets truly exciting though, with two new rooms to explore for the curious traveler. The first is a tasting room, which features four local beers on tap where you can try a beer flight. They also offer several wine options as well. In addition, this room has a made-to-order menu featuring upscale bar bites from housemade chips with hot sauce and blue cheese dip to pulled pork sliders that were all so tasty. The second room -- "At The Bridge" -- gives interior garden vibes with a cozy bar overlooking the terminal featuring quirky fruit-forward cocktails and a different set of equally intriguing finger foods such as a smoked salmon tartine and caramel chocolate dipped strawberries, also made to order and quite tasty. Overall, I found this lounge to be practical, yet elegant; spacious yet comforting -- one that truly impresses as a Business Class lounge. If we consider that both BA and AA do not have hubs in NYC, its even more impressive as this lounge is truly better quality than most business class lounges in other airline's primary hub. Heading to Tokyo today. The atmosphere of the American Airlines "new" premium lounge, Greenwich, is nice. However, the quality of the breakfast buffet needs improvement. The smoked salmon was tasteless. The French toast was dry, crunchy, and also tasteless. There is a good variety of food, including cheeses and salad. The cappuccino from the machine was nice and strong. Piper champagne was decent. We were spoiled by the DeltaOne lounge when we went to Australia last August. read more

Worst ever lounge check-in experience. The website clearly states that Oneworld Sapphire members are eligible for access, but the agents here fabricated their own rules. When they rudely told me to "read the fine print," I did exactly that. Finding nothing that barred my entry, I went back to show them the policy on my phone. The response was shocking. The agent became even more hostile, constantly interrupting us and refusing to let us speak. I only had 20 minutes before my flight, so missing out on the lounge itself didn't matter. What matters is the blatant lack of respect. It is mind-boggling that individuals who choose to work in the hospitality industry lack the basic ability to be hospitable. Rudeness shouldn't be a front-line employee's go-to reaction. Avoid this lounge if you expect decent service. read more

The lounge offers excellent seating combined with a wide choice of very well prepared buffet style foods and drinks. The lounge is located close to the entrance to the terminal once you have gone through check in and security. It also within easy walking distance all of the departure gates. read more

This spacious lounge offers excellent food, plenty of space, and tons of self serve alcohol, liquors, and other drinks. Breakfast is not as interesting as lunch/dinner options. I went to this airport lounge after checking in at JFK. It was a complimentary admission for flying Japan Airline premium economy. It is located on the second floor after passing thru security. The lounge is a place to eat and relax while waiting for your flight; comfortable seating with a variety of hot food and drinks. They even served beer and alcohol. Food options included soups, various healthy salads, couple of meat dishes, and cookies/ brownies for dessert. The lounge was very well maintained with a large staff to serve and clean. Over all you can't really complain for something that is complimentary but I wish they serve some fruits. It was an enjoyable experience but there was no fruit in sight hence the four stars. read more

JFK GREENWICH LOUNGE - POORLY AND DISGUSTINGLY DONE !! Take note of this potential PREMIUM flyers ! - who like to access/utilize benefits from privilege cards such as American Airlines Advantage Platinum members category - specifically JFK Airport - Greenwich Lounge. This lounge has advertised access to South America, Caribbean destinations and quiet a lot more places. I called the American Airlines trained customer services agent who confirmed the lounge can be access based on my satisfaction of the requisite business class ticket and destination. I arrived at the lounge and the front line staff was rude and unpleasant. I asked to speak with the manager - her name is Patty. She berated and quote said the "American Airlines customer service staff has in adequate training and does not know about this American Airline branded and operated lounge. I said to her - Patty are you sure. She repeated very arrogantly - they don't know anything about this lounge that again is co-branded American Airlines. BEWARE !! Again this has trumped up to be nothing but a bait/fraud of advertisement.
