I have always felt that delta lounges have been a waste for vegans and health conscious people because there is never substantial anything plant based at any of the lounges I've been to with Delta before this one except the one in Seattle - which did have options. However the Delta lounge in the A gate area NEVER fails to impress. Their vegan chorizo is amazing, their vegan soup Is amazing/ their cauliflower wings- AMAZING. I AM SO IMPRESSED. They both mixed me the best old fashionds. And meeting the manager was a true delight. It's quite clear that the staff of this club take great pride in the work, and that it starts at the very top. I think that this Delta Sky Club is superior to the other one in LGA. It's a bit more removed from the other gates, which is why I think it stays better stocked and less busy. The bar is spacious, the food is always well stocked and I can always get a seat here no matter what time of day or night I'm flying out. Food options are also pretty robust, you have your standard breakfast foods but also full cheese and meat plates, lots of fresh fruit, pastries, etc. Bartenders here are friendly and make solid drinks. The coffee machine here is never broken, and I appreciate the glassware always being stocked and clean here. I like that there's usually more than one option for spa water here. If you have the choice between Sky Clubs, I'd go with this one. read more

This location is way better IMO that the lounge situated at B35. It feels less crazy. One thing I hate about the delta lounges is the expectation to tip. At the centurion lounge this expectation isn't there from what I can see and that makes the experience all that much nicer. Hopefully the centurion lounge pay their staff accordingly. The food at this delta lounge is always ok, but not excellent. I prefer the food at the lounge at LAX typically. Staff are lovely. The drinks are ok. read more

I was really surprised at how amazing this experience was. Had to wait a couple mins for people to come out before i could come in, but once I was in, it was not too packed like other lounges (centurion). The food was SO GOOD which usually isn't the experience with lounge food that is usually just okay or a bit above average. But their broccolini, rice and pasta all were packed with flavor and seasoned really well, surprisingly. The agua fresca was tasty + the desserts were so good, especially the one in my picture. Ambiance was nice with lots of seating areas, not too loud of music, and outlets everywhere. Service was great with folks checking in and chatting a bit with people. Swanky Delta Sky Club in T4 near international departures. Friendly stuff, delicious food, and lots of booze. This Delta Sky Club open recently, and while it doesn't have showers (located at the other Sky Club at JFK, it makes up for it with its stunning mid-century modern architecture/decor and awesome indoor/outdoor sky lounge (which is similar to what you'd think of as a sun room in a house) where you can get a closer look/feel/smell of the airplanes outside. Pretty neat to have this in/outdoor lounge area. And yes, I did sit out there even when it was 40 degrees outside. Fortunately for the sky lounge it's fully enclosed and covered, so it doesn't get too too cold. Food offerings are typical of a Sky Club... choices of a few mains, soup, salad, cold appetizers. Drinks include soda on tap, juices, coffee/tea. Booze is at the bar - some are complimentary, while some you pay cash (or SkyMiles). I went for the complimentary white wine, which I wholeheartedly enjoyed sipping while plane watching at the sky lounge. When I arrived, it was around dinner time, so there was a lot of people! I stayed near closing, and by that time it was much quieter. There are some other quieter areas near the bathroom, including phone booths in capsular shape. Pretty neat. If you get the chance to go to a Sky Club in JFK and don't mind not having the shower amenity, I'd come here! Recommended. read more

(Overall: A+) - I visited the new Delta Sky Club in the A wing of Terminal 4 and I was impressed on all aspects. The check in was quick and seemless and I was soon in the expansive lounge that is very beautiful and spacious -- they even have an outdoor terrace to look at the airplanes for those interested. As for the food, the menu was quite interesting -- the day I went had a lot of food labeled being Filipino. They also gar a large variety of non-alcoholic drinks like aqua fresca and togo desserts like red velvet cookies. The bar is also quite expansive, although some of the more fancy drinks you'll need to pay or use points for. No wait, easy access and plenty of room to find your own space. Explored and saw they have sound proof pods so you can make calls and do some work, which was nice. Lunch was being offered and tried all the main dish... however some items were decent, others were not worth it - especially their sesame ginger noodle salad and the broccoli salad - stay away from those. The Hawaiian chicken was ok. I liked the 360 circle bar that they had. I would definitely visit here than the one in B gate. read more

I'm so glad they opened a 2nd Delta lounge in Terminal 4 because I was sick of waiting on the loooonnnggg line at the original one. This one is a touch smaller but it's gorgeous. The center bar is beautiful and nicely stocked. Our bartender, Courtney B., made the perfect vodka martini with a twist. She was so friendly and helpful, and even introduced me to the Black Russian! Who needs an espresso martin!? The food is plentiful and there's a nice selection of hot and cold food. There's also plenty of waiters walking around cleaning plates and taking drink orders. The new Delta Sky Club is located near gate A7 at JFK terminal 4. This lounge is very stylish and makes you feel warm and cozy at the same time. There's a sky deck if you want to get some fresh air before your flight. With retractable roof and ceiling fans, it's a good space to unwind regardless of the weather. The 360-degree bar is a nice setup along with the usual buffet line, beverage center and dessert bar. Plenty of seating all around the lounge. There are 4 soundproof pods for private calls/meetings. The food choices and presentation was great and matches with the ambiance and decor. The staffs were all great and very courteous, a well managed place. Delta has truly outdone themselves A few years ago, I wrote that the Amex Centurion was going to give Delta a run for their money*. Well Delta has fired back, and man are they not playing around. This lounge is truly beautiful. Classic NYC art deco is on display everywhere, and I'm here for it. The bar is gorgeous, and the deck is a show stopper**. It's the little details that get me though, like the light fixture behind the bar calling out to the Chrysler Building, or the lamps nodding to Grand Central. This may sound odd, but the wood floors are also truly beautiful. Delta has spared no expense making this place feel upscale, and it shows. The food on offer when I stopped in this morning was better than I remember Delta offering for breakfast, and literally everyone working said hello. Truly, a nice place to spend some time before a flight, it's absolutely with the walk, even if you're flying out of B Gates. --------- *Delta is opening a first class (Delta One) lounge here that'll open early next year. If it's half as good as this new Sky Club the Centurion will be much less crowded. **And unlike the Sky Club over in the B Gates, this one was open at 5:15 am when I checked in. read more

The Delta Sky Club at JFK Terminal 4 is quite nice and large. There are automated check-ins with people to help you. It does get crowded at times. The food is decent from pasta, sandwiches, meats and cheeses and desserts. But it is nothing over the top. There is a nice size bar for drinks. The place is extremely clean and nice. Make sure you have your boarding pass and Delta or American Express card with you. read more

We were able to get in, and that alone is a plus because the other sky club is always full. Food was excellent but what gave it 5 stars for me was the service from Courtney at the bar. Her drinks were amazing and as good as any bar I've been to in the city. I only ordered from the comp menu though. I will definitely try this lounge before the other one next time. read more

The overcrowding of the Delta Skyclub has had an unfortunate domino effect upon the entire experience or lack thereof... The food is straight cafeteria food reminiscent of my high school lunch - bland, boring and redundant. The service is poor because the staff is trying to mange a lounge that is not equipped to handle the large crowds. The ambiance lacks any sort of relaxing atmosphere that I would be led to believe was a primary objective. The lack of seating, noisy ambiance and screaming children are comparable to the terminal. I'm currently a Diamond Medallion 2 Million Miler - yet the Skyclub is really an American Express Club. There is very little allegiance to the truly faithful... Rather than cutting back on allowable Amex Visits for cardholders - Delta should consider a dress code. Let's all respect the lounge and what it could offer... read more

OMG. Don't even wonder if you should check out this lounge. Just go. Amazing place. We actually had just stepped out of the Centurion lounge when our flight was delayed. So we decided to run over to this new Delta Sky Club. Beautiful interior design. And the food was truly delicious - and varied. The staff were obviously professionally trained. I noticed one of the chefs popped out of the kitchen to show someone who appeared to be a manager her dessert arrangement on a plate. She was obviously proud of it and it looked it. There is a large outdoor space for a change of scenery. The bar area had jazz playing. I'm sure future reviews will describe much more. Oh, a shout out to one of the staff, Benita H. New sky club at A8 in JFK airport has crap food for breakfast. I encourage them to ditch the egg frittatas and coordinate with LGA's sky club manager to upgrade the food. LGA's new sky clubs are exceptional with taste and options. JFK had soggy, barely cooked bacon, tiny stale doughnuts and thawed fruit which looks questionable. Come on Delta JFK, you can do much better. read more
