Gio on Delaware Ave location went above and beyond to get the bugs off- he deserves to be recognized for his outstanding service

I paid for a Super Kiss Plus plan and come to find out that Delta Sonic has been doing a basic wash on my car all winter. The basic wash uses a neoprene brush, that and along with their recycled water that is full of abrasive elements after washing multiple cars all day, has left scratches along both sides of my brand new 2026 vehicle. Delta Sonic's area manager Dave was very rude accused me of lying about the damages and the brush causing the damages. He refused to look up camera footage from February, March and April to prove that yes they did use those blue round neoprene brushes on my vehicle even though that was not in my plan. He reprimanded me for having less than 7,000 miles on my vehicle and told me that is a lot of miles for a new vehicle and that is where my scratches came from. I told him I live in the country and work in Buffalo so yes I have miles from driving back and forth to work every day and that would not cause parallel buff lines with scratches that trail along both sides of my vehicle. The only thing my vehicle was squeezed through since I got it was those blue neoprene brushes that should've never been used in the first place because I wasn't supposed to be getting a basic wash. I paid for a super kiss plus plan. So therefore not only did they damage my car they were charging me for a super kiss plus plan and only giving me a basic wash all winter. $1700 of damage read more

Okay usual I really don't like this location but since they upgraded it was actually a pleasant experience! I have the unlimited interior and exterior and usually would go out of my way to another location but I thought I would try it because of the renovations. It was great! Was a member of their unlimited car wash membership for over 4 years, and had recommended it to many. If you drive more than one car, they force you to pay an extra $20 a month on top of their $45 a month for each additional car which is totally ridiculous to me. doesn't matter if you're the only driver, or if you only get a car wash on either one once a month. Yes, tag switching is against their rules, but I don't agree with their rules. Ultimately wasted a lot of money on this service that I underused and am not sad to have my account suspended. @Kim - I spoke with several members of the staff, none of whom offered a manager. I explained to them that in the wash, there are lights that go on when it is applying something included in your wash package, or they stay off if they are not included. I specifically told them how I noticed the lights not coming on for the tire shine application, and they kept saying, oh we probably just need to replace the bulb. I finally just bought myself a can of armor all and do this myself!!! But you all should NOT be charging these prices and NOT be providing what we pay for!! read more

No way I could do this level of cleaning on my own with an industrial vacuum; they washed the mats, cleaned the upholstery, got rid of unwanted smells, and really restored the car after I destroyed the inside during an epic road trip. I usually try to hit a Delta Sonic for gas & for car washes. Delta Sonic usually has the lowest prices on gas. The problems I have with this gas station is, the gas pumps are too close together & if a car is filling up, or someone is in the store, you can't go around them to leave. You have to wait until their done. Also, I used to go to the one on Niagara Falls Boulevard all the time, where you could pay with cash in the pump. That was very convenient. At the Delaware location, you could never do that. When it's freezing, icy, slushy or just really wet outside, I don't want to have to walk all the way to the store just to pay , get overheated in the store for 30 seconds & then back out into the cold, slush & snow. This has to be the world's smallest car wash in the whole wide world. Ok maybe not the whole world, but at least Buffalo. There is so much going on here, people trying to get gas, shop, and even trying to get into the carwash lanes. All this in a little cramp area. If you are trying to get into the store, or even get gas. You could be trap due to other cars trying to navigate through this small space. The unlimited members lane isn't any faster than the regular lanes. Coming to this location you hope it's not busy, because you could find yourself frustrated by the congestion. I always go to delta sonic for Carwash and gas. Gas is cheap when u link a credit or debit to the delta sonic card. I get 12 cents off per gallon. Great deal for the gas. I am a member of the unlimited car wash and I go once in a while to get my car washed. Since since I got a huge streak down the hood of my car, I don't go as often anymore. Was really upset about that cuz my car is a new. The quick 10 min interior clean is a great investment too. Keeps the inside of my car clean and fresh! The staffs sometimes aren't too friendly. I live pretty close by this Delta Sonic location, so it is a location that I literally frequent every week, whether it's to fill my gas tank, get a car wash, or to get my interiors cleaned. I've purchased the unlimited interior cleaning, and previously purchased the unlimited wash in the past, but to have both got a little pricey for me, so I cancelled the wash and kept the interior cleaning. Having cancelled the unlimited wash a few months back, I'm finally overdue for a car wash so I took my car for a wash today. Normally a very busy spot on a Saturday afternoon, it was pretty dead today due to the scattered shower. I went into the middle lane, and the girl (with long brown hair in a pony tail) behind the counter literally looked at me, no smiles, no greetings, just pure unhappiness on her face. I asked her about the prices, and I could tell she was very annoyed by my question. So to get it over with, she ran through the wash prices very VERY quickly...so quickly, I didn't understand what she had said, so I asked her to repeat it again. This girl gave me the nastiest look, you can tell by now she's even more annoyed. Then she repeated it again, and just as fast as the first time. So instead of asking her to repeat herself again, I told her to give me the cheapest wash. She charged my card, gave it back, turn around, never smiled, not one "thank you" or "have a nice day", nothing to indicate that our transaction was done. She just turned her back to me, probably hoping I understood the message. Before driving off, I looked at her name tag "Brittany". Note to Management: you need to move her somewhere else, nowhere near customers. ASAP. Her attitude sucks, and can cause some serious business. If I had to keep dealing with her again, I literally will stop going here altogether. That nastiness is not worth dealing with, weekly. Update one week later: I came back for another car wash and went into the far right lane, and this time I was assisted by a VERY NICE girl name Christina. I informed her that I had the unlimited interior and asked her about wash specials. She looked up my account, told me how much I had paid previously for unlimited washes and told me about the SUPER interior special as well. Christina was highly informative and extremely helpful. With her help, not only did I sign up again for the unlimited wash, but she also up-sold me on my current unlimited interior cleaning. At the end of the transaction, she gave me a gift card to Salvatore's and that was a nice surprise! Never have I been so happy and willing to just hand over my money!!! Overall, Christina did an AMAZING job, very friendly, informative, helpful and a strong (but not pushy) salesperson. She is a great asset for the company. read more

I don't need the unlimited pass bc I don't need my car to be constantly spotless, but I do appreciate the interior cleaning team. We went through the drive thru car wash and purchased them both. Because we are half way through the month, they pro rated for us, and instead of $50 it came to about $30 , which is awesome for unlimited exterior and interior cleaning. The girl that helped us was awesome! So friendly and nice, she explained the package to us, hooked us up with the fancy sticker for inside the vehicle, etc. we also got a gas card, because their gas is cheaper when you buy the wash or interior cleaning. I work nearby so have been back at this location more frequently. I've got the unlimited monthly interior cleaning option, which is nice when you have dogs. The cleaning that you get is okay, maybe even pretty good. I wouldn't say it's great. But if I'm ever not totally thrilled, I just bring it back through again the next day. One thing that's really weird at this location is that, when you get your oil changed, they don't invite you to sit in the waiting room. They just leave you sitting in the car. It's weird. I just get out and go to the waiting room because I know it's there. At the Blvd. location they invite you to the waiting area and give you a buzzer to know when your car is done. I could live without the buzzer, but I do prefer not being in the car. I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars but the kids who work here are nice so I'm giving 4. Would be good if management could improve the experience between this location and the Blvd one. read more

Like seriously? I'm only giving two stars because the staff was nice. I tipped the guy who cleaned my car out$10 only because he looked like he was working hard. He took my car off the conveyer belt and spent about another ten minutes on it. I dont know what cleaner they used or how they instruct people to wipe, scrub etc but it was literally still dirty when I got in. I asked the guy to allow me to utilize his cloth as I attempted to wipe it it down myself. Some of the dirt was coming off as I scrubbed. I got the unlimited plan with the addition cleaner thats supposed to sanitize, blow all the dirts and crud from the speakers and vents and to top it off, leave everything looking shiny. Uhmmm what happened? None one of that was a reality. I paid $43 for nothing. I ended up leaving there heading to dollar tree where I got a bottle of lime and backing soda fabulous and two car cleaning cloths. When I say the dirt came off instantaneously. Just beautiful with a $2 purchase. I dont recommend getting the extra "value option for $20 more per visit. It sucks. Now the detailing I believe it depends on who's cleaning it and if their clothes are clean or not, so I'm not dismissing the detail shop. read more

Stopped by because I have the monthly pass for unlimited car washes. Just found out recently that if you have the pass on your car you can stop by any Delta Sonic which is definitely much more convenient than having to go to one area all the time. I like this location because the line seems shorter. I also like now that they have made a specific lane direct exit to the street if you don't care if they towel dry your car. Since they never really seem to do a decent job drying and you feel obligated to tip, I choose exit to the street most times. My reason for only 3 stars....they pretty much have the best place in WNY for a car wash, but when you've lived in other cities that have set the bar much higher on service and friendliness an amazing car wash and spectacular drying.....a crew that loves what they do and it shows - well then you see my point, just not at that level. read more

This place is awesome. Gas, car wash, cleaning and detailing....all at a pretty affordable price for the time it saves. I took my mother-in-laws car here to get it cleaned and vacuumed out after her dog had to be put down. They got at almost all of the dog hair and even took a second pass with the vacuums when a few spots were missed without any complaint or attitude. All of the employees I came in contact with were responsive, friendly and efficient...a rarity for what we experienced in neighborhood businesses elsewhere. I end up going to my dealership West herr they informed me that when I went to Delta sonic on Delaware they did not tighten the part where the oil change goes in. This is my go to place for car washes and gas! I link my debit card to the Delta Sonic card and get 15 cents off per gallon of gas. I think it's a great deal and totally worth it. I also have the unlimited car wash membership and go at least once a week. It's a good deal especially for the winter time with snow and salt stains. The car wash does get busy during the weekdays 3-6pm and the weekends so I always go in the morning. I've never had a problem with the staff. I think they do a great job especially when they have to stand in the cold. I certainly would not survive so kudos to them! read more

I like Delta Sonic for the most part and subscribe for their unlimited washes. I'm also a fan of their brick oven pizza (that's right, tasty gas station pizza!) in the Main St. location and although I haven't tried it here yet, I imagine it's also pretty good. My only qualm with this location is that I've found that so often the subscribed members do not have that extra lane open for them very often. When it is open, I've found it being held up and moving forward SLOWER than the regular lane without an employee to come and settle the problem fairly quickly. I wish they would have the fast-lane for those with passes always functioning. read more

Scrub a dub dub! So I'm a person who is obsessed with keeping his car clean so I had to get the unlimited packages here (for both interior and exterior). Honestly, Delta Sonic is like the fast food of car washes. I get better cleanings overall at the mom and pop shops (when I say better cleaning I mean they pay more attention to detail). Furthermore, the "10 minute cleaning" isn't as great as I would expect it. Yes, they vacuum and do basic shampooing of the rubber mats but when you ask them to focus on cleaning out the center console, underneath the emergency break it's like they use a dry cloth to clean it and I still see remnants of things that should've been cleaned (it's as though they didn't clean it at all). I like that they do the rubber mats and they spray your tires to give it that extra *bling*... A suggestion: What would be nice is if they added air fresheners and/or different fragrances (maybe spice it up for different seasons or something. Keep the fragrances a bit more interesting. You can keep the standard ones but throw in some limited time ones) Overall, it's a basic clean and it's a decent price. P.S. they are always trying to get you pay extra for things that should be included in the basic 10 minute clean. P.S.S. Unlimited wash plan and The Card make stopping for a gas and wash not only cheap (unlimited plan pays for itself in less than 2 washes) and at least 10¢ off per gallon makes this the cheapest gas (aside from tops when you have points).
