Earlier today I sent an email to Delta Sonic Corporate and asked if they were honoring their "rewash" guarantee beyond the date printed on the receipt (because we have all been cautioned to distance ourselves and "hunker down and self isolate during this Coronavirus fiasco"). The following is the response I received: Hello, Currently the wash is open,if a decision is made to close the location then anything that was bought (with a wash guarantee) from the day of close will be extended. Anything before that will not. Thank you! -- Brianna C. Senior Customer Service Representative 1(800)843-5477 EXT:40191 Delta Sonic Car Wash Systems, Inc. WOW...brief, curt and totally without feeling I, for one, am a 71 year old senior with several underlying medical conditions, and have been strongly cautioned to stay at home and IF I feel the need to leave my home...definitely adhere to the standard recommendation at the moment....to keep a distance of six feet from other people. Delta Sonic cannot adhere to this caution because I have to roll down my window while their service reps lean into my vehicle to tape my receipt for wash onto the inside of my window. I normally purchase their 3 "super kiss plus wash" packages that give me 9 washes over the period of 9 weeks. That currently sells for about $48. I spend over $300 a year for this. Furthermore, I purchase about 6 interior cleanings, at the cost of $19.99 for one (with no more one month guarantees for a redo). I will no longer do business with Delta Sonic as a result of their very selfish monetary position regarding this crisis we are currently in. read more

I was a total pain in the a$$ to the woman working at The car wash booth. I lost my sticker for the unlimited wash while my car was being detailed and even though she was very busy, she made an exception and put a new sticker on my window while it was being cleaned so I wouldn't have to wait in the cash only lane. she didn't even let on like I was totally irritating her, which I'm sure I was. Thank you for being a champ of service, while I was acting insistent, it made my day a whole lot easier. read more

My husband while I was away had my car detailed 186.00 I will not do it again I am mad at him and sonic spent money for a crappy job back window wasn't vacuumed dirt still on floor mats(they were thrown in trunk wet on top of each other) thankfully I bought new ones before getting in my car plus I have grease finger prints all over ceiling and inner frame of windshield so disappointing now how do I get the grease out????? read more

I went to Delta Sonic and talked with one of the managers about getting my car fully detailed, inside and out. There are two spots in the back of the car where the the headliner has come unglued, I asked if they repaired that and I was told no we don't in fact because of that we will not touch the headliner, I said fair enough, i completely understand. I then made appointment of the car to get detailed, they have a clean shop, lots of hands on deck how can i go wrong, i said to myself. Well after the car was detailed to the tune of just a little shy of $300.00 not only does my car smell like a foot and now the headliner has completely fallen off. Mind you the places I pointed out were never touched and no more damage has been made. I filled out a complaint form and told it was going to be submitted to corporate. I have this funny feeling Delta Sonic is going to do nothing about it and I will have to go out of pocket to fix the headliner that has never caused me so many headaches. First and last experience with Delta Sonic. As I was coming to the drying portion of my car wash I felt something hooking onto the rear of my passenger side. An employee entered the car wash and tore something away from my car. Shortly after leaving I noticed that part of my bumper had been peeled away. I returned back to the store and they quickly dealt with the situation and stated that I would be hearing from the claims department in 5-7 days. I just received this letter in the mail yesterday. Dismissing all responsibility for the damage and on top of it giving me a Delta Sonic car wash gift card as a sympathy...I am still in disbelief that after damaging my car in their car wash that they would send me a gift card to have my car washed and potentially damaged yet again. Good luck getting your moneys worth. $150 to clean your interior you would actually expect it to be clean. Take it vantage at the end when they have you review your vehicle and make sure you note all of the areas that weren't cleaned so that they actually clean your vehicle! And good luck navigating the buildings it's like a mess! There's no signage you have no idea where you're going ... this was a horrible experience! read more

A corporate rep said she would talk to me about it. 6 days later nothing, so I updated my review and she responded that she gave my info to the district manager who would be contacting me. The line was ridiculously long- I got the regular wash and it almost looked like I didn't get my car washed at all. Wish I hadn't spent money here... you sit in your car for almost 30 minutes before you're even able to tell them what wash you want. Then your car goes through a wash at the speed of light with barely any time to actually wash any layers of salt off. I swung by delta sonic today for a car wash and an interior cleaning (and so did everyone else in syracuse, as it was the first real spring day of the year). The wait for the cleaning was a little rough (about 20 minutes) but they let me know before I purchased it, so that was nice of them. I got the super kiss and an interior clean for about 30 bucks, which wasn't too bad. There are cheaper options but I was pleased with the job they did. The service was nice; there's a lot of honking and yelling and its a generally loud place, but when I actually spoke to employees they were super nice and helpful. The car wash was wicked fast and once my car got in the detailing center, that flew by as well. If you've got dough to spend for a good car cleaning, inside and out, and you don't mind waiting a few minutes, I recommend delta sonic on erie. I'm a happy customer. read more

I really wish there was an alternative to this service in my area. I go here all the time, but honestly, it's out of necessity. Nearly every single time I come here, I need to have my Toyota Sequoia washed twice. For some reason, the workers are not able to adequately spray off the lift gate in the back and manage to miss an entire section of vehicle and thus rendering the truck still very dirty. I have even gone so far as to roll my window down and ask the workers to pay extra attention to the spots that are consistently missed and the workers nod their heads, and continue to ignore my requests and their jobs. What's interesting is that at the end, when the workers are drying off the cars, they should be able to see all the dirt that remains on a vehicle and try to wipe it off...nope. They leave it. It is frustrating to consistently witness incompetence and disinterest in a service related industry. Honestly, if there was ANYTHING that was even remotely close to comparable services that was even slightly close to my house, these people would lose a customer. So, I go here to get my vehicles washed, and I have to really set aside some time so that I can make sure it is done right...every single time. read more

Trying to get in to have the interior of your car done is damn near impossible. I came in to have the interior done and I was told I need to make an appointment. I called the company to make an appointment and they told me it was walking service. I came back to the company to try to have a walk-in done and they told me it was a four hour wait. I requested that I make an appointment and they told me that can't be done. Very frustrating. I think I may have to go elsewhere. read more

I have been here before typically in the summer to get the bugs off the the front but not very often. I had received some wash tickets as a birthday present last month so I went on to use one in the mid afternoon time a few days ago. Lines weren't that bad they were moving consistently. When I got up to the cashier box, a friendly girl named Bri greeted me, and took my ticket. She gave me a heads up that my ticket was only good for a basic touchless wash, and if I wanted to flush the underneath I could use it towards a superKiss wash, plus I could come back within five days for another carwash. It was only $5 and she was so sweet how could I say no haha. She handed me a card (I uploaded pic not sure if you need it on here), she definitely deserves the bonus from this review. The people when I got out of the wash did an okay job, they were nice, but there may have been something on their towel because my windshield and windows had streak marks on the outside I noticed as I was driving. But I'll still give 5 stars overall everyone seems friendly and enjoys their job read more

Not a big fan of the Delta Sonic on Erie Blvd in Syracuse at all. The customer service is null. I stood at the detailing window for close to 10 minutes while multiple employees looked past me and a few other people who were also waiting for assistance and acted like we didn't even exist. A male employee was at the register and was doing a complete ignore. A simple I'll be right with you would have served its purpose. I stopped one of the employees as she began to go by us and asked who i would talk to to set up an appointment. She said I should talk to a manager and then I had to ask if Her if I could talk to the manager. She then went and told the male manager (the one doing the complete ignore) that I wanted to get an appointment for detailing. As I walked away, the manager started going back into work area and I believe the others waiting in line yelled at him to not go anywhere as they needed assistance too. Went to pick up my car after the detailing and I could have done a better job myself. I was not a happy camper and the manager agreed that it lacked their best performance and asked if I wanted my $120.00 back and I said yes along with the $20 tip I had also given. Lesson learned - check their work before you pay or don't use them at all. I won't be!! read more

I got the 30 minute interior with salt extraction done today. I've had it done before and it's usually hit or miss. Today was a hit. Zeke did a fabulous job, my carpets look brand new and they were a hot mess when I brought the car in. He vacuumed the back of the car, too, which is not always the case. I'd give it 5 stars, but it always takes much longer than 30 minutes. Today I pulled in for the interior clean around 8:20 and it wasn't done until 9:30. Didn't mind quite as much today because it was really clean. read more

Love their unlimited car was deal. I used to get my truck washed 3-5 times a week. They do a good job detailing as well. They offer so many different options for detailing, you need to see them for yourself. Highly recommend this car wash. I saw no lines or waiting at the Delta sonic today. I rolled in and asked for a super kiss car wash and a 30 minutes interior clean. I had difficulty understanding the young lady. She was having trouble speaking correctly? she was either just mumbling or she was having some difficulty speaking and I'm not really sure which? She could not even look me in the eye? I had to ask her to repeat her self twice just so I could understand what she was saying. I sat in waiting area for 1 hour and 10 minutes watching another women stroll around my car trying to clean my car as if she had all day. She displayed no sense of urgency to try and be done cleaning my car within 30 minutes. Finally she pulls the car out of the bay. I walk up to her and she states " I am still not done". Spent the next few minuets watching stroll around the car haphazardly wiping in and around my car. I asked her "This was supposed to be a 30 min interior clean why did it take over 1 hour?" I got a vapid half closed eye look from her as she said "I am not sure" followed by another vapid and blunted stare with no response. I asked her what about the exterior wash? She replied "You have to drive around the building" I just shook my head and got in the car drive around again to the drive up booth. In the booth were several women discussing some event from the past evening and I had to wait until the end of the story just to be told that the first women never charged me for the super kiss wash and it would be another twenty dollars. I checked my receipt and she was right. NO wash was charged! I handed her $20. She then replies " I am sorry its $21.50 I forgot the $1.50 tax." After paying she says "Wait, how silly someone left a rag on top of your car." The car wash does a pretty good job cleaning the exterior of the car however save you money and your time. These people at Delta sonic have no interest in their jobs or your time. Perhaps maybe it's time for a management change. read more

i have been a long time member since delta arrived on eire blvd in syracuse. over the last yr. the equipment is the tunnel appears to be not maintianed as it should be. one example is the sonic dryer system with the fabric behind red glass case... the lenses have broken fabric missing. mold and dirt on the red lamps going into the drier section....over all the tunnel is not being kept clean. it seems as though their maintenence team has no pride or ownership in the work they should be doing or over seeing. i owned several hanna carwashes and never let the equipment look as unkempt as delta allows. i think team delta needs to have a company wide pep rally and get their members on the ball. read more

the day = july 4th the weather = insanely hot my car = dirty where do i go = delta sonic this place is relatively expensive but they have two things that make up for their high prices. 1) the option for cleaning the interior of your car and 2) attractive girls in short shorts taking your order and drying off your car. (i'm a typcial male, what do you expect). my car was way overdue for a wash and they did a pretty decent job of cleaning it up, including the wheels, bumper, etc... i probably could have done a better job of washing it myself by hand, but given the holiday, i couldn't fit it into my schedule and going here saved me a ton of time. again, be prepared to spend a little cash, but i would say it's worth it if you are long overdue for a car wash. read more

Terribly upset and disappointed. I just leased a brand-new gorgeous vehicle for the first time, and took it here, thinking it would make my vehicle look amazing. They got dirt ON my seat that wasn't there before, several scuff marks from their vacuuming, they put the mats back in the wrong place, and then they damaged the fabric in the back seat of my vehicle with their tools. At first we thought it was a grease stain from their tools, but then we determined the fabric was ruined. I've had the vehicle less than a month. They told me to fill out a customer comment card, and wouldn't even refund me for the month of August. read more

Very poor wash. Bought the $14.99 exterior wash. Did not clean the soil off the car which was not very dirty in the first place. Left spots on windshield and body. No tire dressing. They were simply in a hurry to load the conveyor as quickly as possible with no thought to providing a quality wash. Find somewhere else to get your car washed. read more

WOW WOW WOW ok I will start by saying people think I have a golden retriever with how much blonde hair I shed. I live in my car for medical trips back and forth almost every week!!.... 5 hours each way. Sometimes I get sick, needless to say my car looks BRAND new. Adam, Jamal,Sam, and another amazing manager took care of me when there was a mishap with my gift card. I will never go any where else for detail'n under $100 for a 4 hour showroom detail!!
