I use the Dewitt, N.Y. Sonic Car Wash multiple times each week. The wash is always good and the interior cleaning is exceptional. I do get one employee that cleans the interior of my car frequently and commend him on his positive attitude and professional interactions. Visited Delta Sonic today around 1:30. I had a coupon for a basic touchless wash. Everything was fine until I got to the towel dry. The young man doing the drying, never acknowledged me, had little to no energy,and did not lift wipers nor dry anything lower (like bumpers) on the car. To my regret I still tipped the young man who took the tip and said nothing, no thank you no window dry. I wish I hadn't tipped him, but I always try to help out. read more

Do not use Delta Sonic!! My brand new car has been scratched on the hood and entire right side from Delta Sonic. I identified the scratches and deep marks on the car immediately after the car wash and filed a claim right then and there. After a series of denied claims, including a visit to Delta Sonic where the employee walked us through the wash, which only further confirmed the scratches are in the exact locations where the brushes were on the car, we were still denied. We will be taking them to court as the damage is significant and will be extremely costly as well. The service provided throughout this whole process has been extremely poor. We've been given nothing but what I'm sure to be a slew of generic phrases they say to every customer who files a claim and dealt with very rude and impolite attitudes. The last Delta Sonic employee I spoke with over the phone had a snarky, sarcastic tone with me the entire time regardless of my calm and fair demeanor, simply because I was checking on my claim which had already been denied as I wanted to see if there was anything else that could be done before taking legal action. I will be sharing my experience on the Better Business Bureau and every social media site related to Delta Sonic. This is the first time I've ever complained about any product or service online, this experience overall has been awful and I want to be certain other potential customers are aware of this and choose another company for their car care. read more

New to the area and was wondering what the hype was with this place from my coworkers- but wow! The Line was long so I was hesitant for waiting, but I was greeted by a girl named Brianna with a great smile and attitude! She explained all the washes to me and recommended a Super Kiss + so that I would receive all the products in the wash. since I had never done it before, she told me how it would work once I got inside the car wash. The line was moving quite fast as there was another cashier helping out- didn't catch her name. I felt bad for the people since it was a little chilly that day, but they seemed to not mind so much. The colors in the wash are cool-nice touch. After the wash was over, someone wiped my car down dry and gave a little extra scrub on the hood, maybe not all the gunk came off, I couldn't see it but it was very nice of them to put in the extra effort. I went to the Delta Sonic car wash on Delaware near Kenmore. Waited 20 minutes to get the girl at the pay window and I decided to get the inside cleaned as well. They charge a good buck for this and she tells me to drive right around to the Detail entrance and let them dry the car, so I do this. Thirty minuets later my car emerges from the inside and 2 young men are beaming like they just finished cleaning the Presidents Limo. None of the outside of the windows had been wipe off, nor the dried water stains from sitting inside so long. Dashboard was still dusty and the back didn't appear to be touched at all. Their car wash does a good job; better than most I've used. But beware some deceptive practices surrounding the unlimited wash plan. In March I asked a cashier about the unlimited wash plan. She gave me a flyer and told me that there was a 6-month introductory rate and after that the price went up. The flyer says "NO COMMITMENT" in bold on the front and "You may cancel any time after your first billing cycle" on the back. I figured I had nothing to lose and that I'd try it out so I signed up. After the first month I decided it wasn't worth the money and requested a cancellation. I received an e-mail back from their office informing me that I would have to pay a $50 cancellation fee because I had signed up for a 6-month contract. I put up a fight and they waived the fee, but it's misleading at best and downright deceptive at worst to be distributing literature that says "NO COMMITMENT" while selling plans with commitments and describing them as a "6-month introductory rate" with no mention of an early cancellation fee. Caveat emptor if you're going to sign up for one of these plans. Make sure you ask the right questions and get something in writing that says you may cancel anytime. Shame on you, Delta Sonic. read more

I purchased a super kiss car wash last week. I'd like to point out that I've owned this car for two weeks and have very recent photographs of my unscratched vehicle. The people drying the car must have been using dirty towels because there are now scratches all over my fender in a pattern that corresponds directly with a wiping motion. There is also a three and a half foot long scratch down the driver side. My driver side window had dirty water spots all over it as well. Because my car wasn't even clean. Was told by the management that there was nothing they could do and that I had to file a claim with corporate. Didn't even offer a refund or an apology. Glad to share that I received a letter in the mail today that notified me they would not be repairing the damage they caused. So much for paying for a "quality" car wash. Apparently Delta sonic is structured in such a way that lends itself well to unaccountability and incredibly poor customer service. Thanks for leaving me out in the cold. read more

In the past i have only used the delta sonics in Niagara Falls ny which are always great, but i recently started using the delta sonic on Erie Blvd in Syracuse and im so disappointed in the service that i don't even want to return to use the washes i have left. The workers were extremely rude and talking about completely inappropriate things. I also had my children in the car. The girls that took my initial payment were sharp and impolite and the people that dried my car could care less at the services they were providing. My car had streaks and water marks afterwards and wasnt even close to being dried. read more

About the most impressive looking yet equally horrible car wash ever. Great signs, clean, modern looking, good layout and flow. But my car never comes out clean. And paying for an interior cleaning service is comical. Nice looking youngsters swarm the vehicle, armed with spray bottles, towels and seemingly powerful vacuum hoses. But it's a half baked job. And the few times I've asked them to go back over an area, they do it, but it's never right in total. You get embarrassed asking for more. Asking the manager about why it's such a terrible cleaning, he said if you want it clean, you need to pay for the better interior cleaning. and never really addressed what I paid for. I recently took my Audi Q7 and S6 to the Delta Sonic Car Wash on Erie Boulevard in DeWitt.Although I have been using unlimited exterior washes for sometime I was not aware of the special for interior's.I have since signed up both of my cars. One of the reasons I did this was because Christopher Cerio did the detail work. He took his time and did a fantastic job on both cars.It's nice to see someone who takes pride in the work they do .I would recommend this service and in particular Christopher to all my friends. read more

I was a loyal customer until now! My experience today was disgraceful. The weather was nice, so I was expecting to be waiting in line for a while- no problem. The line is just about stretching out to the entrance on Erie Blvd and when I get up to the tag reader, it is saying I do not have a membership. Again, no problem, I know that an employee will take care of this for me. I have my window rolled down to hopefully alert an employee that the gate will not open for me. I am sitting here for 3 minutes before I see this young woman approaching my car with a handheld scanner. She glares at me, but I just say "I'm sorry to be holding up the line, it just won't read my barcode." She says absolutely nothing to me, rolls her eyes and as I say "thank you," she continues to just walk away, with the dirtiest look on her face- still no response to anything I have said. Glad to know that my business is not welcome with the amount of money I pay to your business each month! I will be cancelling my membership this week- I would rather wash my car myself for far less money than to be treated like this again. read more

I went through with a friend of mine once and after see what it's all about ill never take any of my vehicles there. I haven't set foot there again nor will I. I understand that their are times that call for a quick and easy car wash. However ill stay with a touchless car wash those spinning brushes are pure evil. read more

I am a loyalist of Delta Sonic for several years now and a Monthly Super Kiss subscriber. I believe everyone working for the DeWitt location here in Upstate NY means good but the supervisors and corporate attorneys should be informed that there are some very dangerous procedures being followed, specifically at the DeWitt, NY location. Today, around 5 PM, the two paying booths were empty and the Unlimited Monthly Lane had 3-4 vehicles in it. Sadly, the first staging area, under the carport location, had a gentleman spending 1 to 2 minutes on each vehicle pressure washing the front and sides. Notably, what worried me more than the lines building up behind us was the fact that each customer who stages in that area is covering a brake with their foot. The employee is directly in front of each vehicle, low, knees bent, spraying underneath, both front fenders and front wheels. One slip off the brake of any one of those vehicles would have had that employee plowed over. Okay, I get it, I was told by a booth attendant, "He's doing his job," she also said, "...if I wasn't happy discuss it with a manager." By that time the Monthly Pre-Paying line had a dozen vehicles waiting [and it was a very slow period]. Nothing like making it more complicated? That's sad. Why? Well the next staging area, that young lady spent 2 seconds squirting down the right side and maybe some of the backs. The final cue-attendant waving you onto the rollers barely wet anything else. My beef is that Delta HAD a system in place that worked. First staging area the employee hit half the front, sides and half the backs of vehicles while moving the line through. Second attendant [up-stream] hit the right side of the front, sides and back. The cue-attendant, the windshield. Never once did an attendant step IN FRONT of a vehicle. With this present policy in place, it'll only take one incident where a driver slips off the brake pedal and endangers an attendant pressure washing dead front of the vehicle. I do not know who is in charge of "safety" at your DeWitt, NY location, but sadly you're in a world of hurt if it continues. Regardless, love your service and attendants. there are some advantages and lots of disadvantages. and they get 2 stars just because they are the least worst carwash around me. things that I like; it's fast, and you get a touchless wash with under spray. it's a very good option especially during winter when you ended up with salt all over your car. you can get a quick wash with under spray and get rid of all those salts. I used to get a basic wash and add under spray, cause I don't care about other stuff that comes with a super kiss and I don't like all those "protective" chemicals all over my car, but most of the time, I don't know why, I wasn't getting my under spray, so I had to go back and talk with them and always got another free wash including under spray, which you can not call it fast anymore. Salt extraction is a good option too. it extracts all the salt that has been accumulated all over your carpet. The things that it's so frustrating and I'll not get any more; interior is just good if your car is a mess and you're planning to get rid of the mess to go back home and actually clean your interior. I even tried 30-minute interior and didn't find it satisfying either. They just spray water over rubber mats, and the result is very dependable on the person who does it and they put it back in your car while water is dripping. During this process, salty water will splash over inside and outside of your open doors. which if you forget to remind them, will not be cleaned, especially on the exterior. you can find cloth traces all over your interior, especially if you have glossy or chrome surfaces. the traces over your gauges is inevitable. they'll be there even if you they redo it. all the corners will not be cleaned. inside the doors will not be cleaned. door panels will not be cleaned. last time they even forgot to give me my fragrance. I asked for it, after a minute or two they handed me 3 sticks to put in my car. If you're not happy with any part of interior you'll be "satisfied" with just rubbing the area couple of times with a cloth and that's it. so long story short, only good for a quick shower to get rid of salt. nothing more. read more

I have had my car cleaned and shampooed here several times without incident. The last time however, my seat was torn. I submitted a claim and heard back from customer service that they were not at fault and they will not fix it. So I arrived without a tear, had my car shampooed and now there is a tear. I'm not sure who is at fault but since my car was in the hands of the employees I'm thinking they accidentally tore it. The solution would be for them to fix it which they refuse to do. When I spoke to customer service they said nope- final decision. I'll have to find somewhere else to have my car cleaned. read more

I have been using the DeWitt Delta Sonic for years. I recently took my wife's new car in for its first interior cleaning and they scratched the center console. The manager took a look at it, used some light rubbing compound on the console which minimized the scratches but did not remove them. I filed a claim, and then rec'd a letter from Delta Sonic that said three different times that it was NOT their fault. I then called their customer service department who once again said it was not their fault. When I asked how they determined it was not their fault they said that there were no procedures in their cleaning process that would cause such damage and that their staff were trained not to cause such damage. Their response was very disappointing to say the least. They have offered to try a courtesy repair, but I have decided to get my Ford dealer's opinion first before I let them attempt to repair the damage that they did. read more

I got a 30 minute interior cleaning package at the new delta sonic in syracuse on west genessee street. It took 50 minutes for starters, they did not touch the inside of my trunk, my carpets were not vacuumed. I had to go back home and vacuum my entire car myself! What a waste. Don't bother. read more

I use their Super Kiss on the outside and the occasional 10 minute quick interior cleaning. Both really are great. Most of the staff is also great. Once in a while there is a loser in the mix, but month in, month out it is quick, easy and a good value. read more

Don't ever take your car here, I took my brand new car there and it got damaged in the wash, I filed an epaccident report and was to,d my neurons managers that it would be taken care of no problem, was to,d I would hear about my car in 3-5 days called a week later and the accident report had never been submitted. Finally heard back and was told that there was to much pre-exsiting damage on my brand car. Tried to call a manger there to discuss this and they were rude and unwilling to help. The fact: This place can and does damage your vehicle. Plenty of scratches and an occasional dent. I thought it was just my cars -- but I have seen others filing "claims" against this place. Why do I continue to use this place? Because they are the ONLY game in town at this time and I'm waiting for somebody to open something better. They give you a lot of flash and very little substance for a big price. Someone mentioned "girls in short shorts" -- that's to distract you from seeing what those girls are not doing to your car. Don't worry ladies, the guys do just as little as the shorty shorts do. You really would be better off cleaning your car yourself if you want it done right instead of paying this premium to a place that has teenagers barely wiping, drying and definitely not pampering your vehicle. Car wash is Great .I paid $79.00 for a shampoo and detail..The dash looked great .How can you shampoo carpets and still have dirt and leaves on the floor.Between the seats were never touched.Driver seat was still dirty.Cup holders still had coffee stains in them.I would not recommend this service to anyone .A complete disappointment. read more

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! They pressure washed the paint off a brand new Lexus and claim a pre existing condition. I sent them before and after pictures along with a car fax stating no previous accidents and they are still denying the damage. They will not pull the cameras as to look because they do not want to take responsibility. They tried sending 3 free interior cleanings although I already pay for that package monthly. They are continuing to charge my account so I was forced to file fraudulent charges with my bank even after I gave a written letter to cancel my plan. After all this they will not get on the phone telling me to have my attorney call them. SHAME ON YOU DELTA SONIC! You have just lost more businesss than the car would have cost you to fix. Also I have 2 written statements from employees saying this happens more than often. Please choose another car wash that values their customers. This one does not. read more

I took my wife's new car in for an exterior/interior cleaning while she was out of town. The car only had 2500 miles on it, and while cleaning the interior the staff scratched the center console. I'm a car guy, so I'm always looking our cars over for damage or wear & tear, so I know that there were no scratches in the center console before they cleaned it. The manager was nice enough & tried his best to remove the scratches with a mild rubbing compound, which did minimize them, but it did not remove them entirely. I filed a claim, only to receive a letter from Delta Sonic saying three different times that the damage was not a result of their actions, and this was verified via a preliminary investigation. When I called & asked what the preliminary investigation consisted of, I was told that there is nothing in their cleaning procedures that would cause such damage, so therefore it could not have been caused by Delta Sonic. They offered to do a complimentary cleaning, but again, only as a courtesy, as they(again), did not cause the damage. Disappointing response to say the least. I informed them that I was going to have my car dealer look at the damage to see what would need to be done to properly repair the car and that I would get back to them. So, if you don't mind them damaging your car and then blaming someone else, by all means roll the dice and take the chance. I have been going to this location for years and have rarely had a problem, but as I have found out, once you do have a problem, it's not their fault! read more

Today I had my 2013 subaru impreza detailed at the DeWitt location (interior, which includes an excellent exterior was). Firstly, I was greeted buy a very polite, well spoken young man (Austin) he informed what the work would include and stated that it would take 4-5 hours, I explained that I had allocated 4 hours due to an appointment and he assured me the vehicle would be ready by 1P.M. and it was! The young man Erik who did the detailing (and trust me it needed it big time with my 21yr old son driving it most of the time)I met Erik at the end of the job, and it was Austin who introduced me, Both Austin and Erik carefully explained what had been done, showed me the interior, and Erik (Bless him) said there were no more crumbs, that was an AHA moment. The car looked "SHOWROOM" quality, I was exceedingly happy, $$ well worth! However, I do have only one complaint, I had no cash paid for the service via credit card but they cannot add a tip??, I was told there was an ATM in their convenience store but it was down, I then said let me purchase something in the convenience store to get cash back and was told they can't do cash back. Iwas so frustrated and wanted to reward Erik for an excellent job, I had errands to run and went back later to leave off a tip for Erik.
