The crew is absolutely incredible! I cannot express this enough. They weren't only respectful to us, but more importantly, they were respectful to each other. As any homeowner knows, it can be difficult having people working in your house. Not with this crew though! They showed up every day with a warm greeting, a friendly smile and a positive attitude. Their work was impeccable! Each one of them was knowledgeable and had their own specific talents. Glenn, the owner of the company was good-natured and easy to talk to. He oversaw the project but was easygoing and respectful to the men on the crew. Steve and John were extremely talented; building the walls, floors and ceilings. They have a talent for hanging sheetrock, mudding and sanding. Everything was flawless. They made sure everything was waterproofed to prevent any future problems. Among the crew is Bill. He used to work as a state inspector. He is knowledgeable in making sure every part of the project was safe and up to code. Brad and John are the painters, they are magicians when it comes to their painting skills. This entire crew showed great attention to detail. They cleaned daily as they went along and left the bathroom spotless at the end of each day during the project. They even swept the kitchen floor after bringing materials through the kitchen. I hired Dustin to refinish existing hardwood (3 rooms) and also to install new hardwood (1 room). We're in the process of having a kitchen and bathroom floor done by Ed's. The first day the…read moreinstaller showed up with only part of the materials. He installed the kitchen flooring into the bathroom. When he realized mistake, he took it up. He was done by late morning. He had some of the kitchen floor but not enough to do the whole kitchen. He didn't have any of the material to do the bathroom floor. So he left for the day. He wasn't sure of all the material had come into the storehouse or not Since it was only half a day at the house, I would have expected him to go back to the store to see if the material was in the storehouse . Maybe even return to get some of the flooring done on Friday. We had the plumber come in that morning to removed the toilet , they were scheduled to return in the afternoon to reinstall the toilet.We had to call and cancel him and tentatively reschedule him for Monday. Since it was a Friday, we had all of our kitchen and bathroom closet items stored in our living room for the weekend. Sunday, the installer did show up and correctly put in the bathroom floor and started the kitchen floor. Our bathroom floor is the vinyl that looks like stone and it's a grey tone. They installed a bright white molding around the flooring. It clashes and looks awful. The strip they put between the bathroom and the hallway door matches perfectly . When we requested the white molding be taken out and replaced some that matched the floor like the color of the strip in the doorway. We were told they would look around around and see if they had anything in the warehouse, I am sure that they're not going to find anything just hanging around the warehouse. If they don't have anything, they would have try to find something matching, and it would cost us extra. When we hired them to install the floor we assumed that it would be done with matching materials. Now we're being told we have to pay extra. Since we did not get a discount on the floor or a sale or anything else, I don't feel we should have to pay another cent to have the floor install correctly with matching materials . That's a discussion. we have to have later today with the manager. It's noon time Monday and they may have to come back another day to finish the floor. We told them we needed it done before Tuesday because we were having company on Tuesday. We assumed most of the work would have been done on Friday and just finishing touches on Monday. I won't know until I get home from work if they've completed the installation. I wished I had read some of the reviews , which had several negative comments about the installation. Of flooring they did. Overall, I'm just not pleased with the service , the installation or the communication I'll have to wait to see how this gets resolved but I would never recommend them or have them again.

I had no problem giving him $2500 of the $3300 we agreed to do the job, materials and labor because I had used him once before. He came down, looked at the space and gave me a price. The only stipulation was that he had to get the complete job done in 5 days, starting on a Monday so I could be back working that following Saturday. He agreed. Monday he never showed. Tuesday he never showed. He finally showed Wednesday night, still saying it would be done Friday by doing 2 coats a day. He said like my old location I would need 5-7 coats. He did 1 coat Wednesday, 1 coat Thursday and on Friday he only coated about 60% of the floor and that was the last time he's been in. He told me that I need to give him more money or he's not finishing. I explained that as a business owner, if he quotes a job too low he's gotta still complete the job but learn from it. He called me screaming at me telling me I took advantage of him but he physically came to the building just days prior to give me a quote. A quote that I didn't even talk him down in. I just agreed even though it was quite a bit higher than the exact same job that was 500sqft smaller than he did prior for me. Larger building overall but his job was much smaller.
