Kitchen and whole house flooring remodel. Went with vinyl floors with LL flooring. We had our kitchen install scheduled for end of April, after which our flooring would be installed. We discussed our timeline with the sales person very clearly. Could this be done? If not we can go with another selection or even have to go somewhere else. Yes, no problem. Install scheduled for first week of May. Told me everything I wanted to hear as he took my $10k payment up front. Someone would contact us to schedule the exact time and confirm delivery of the floors... That call never came so we followed up. Well the flooring was going to be delayed, but it's only a week behind. Looking at the second week of May for install. Someone will call us to schedule delivery... Never heard from anyone. Followed up... Your floors are on the truck coming in over the weekend. Would receive a call by Tuesday. Call never came... Followed up... Your floors weren't on that truck and they're not on this week's truck either. Now passing the second week of May installed. Spoke to a manager who informed us that not only were our floors on backorder they probably weren't even in the country yet and we're probably week's more away. He promised to knock some money off my bill for the inconvenience and touch base with me once the floors reached the distribution center in Virginia. To this day have never heard from him or anyone at the Manchester office since. Week's later our floors were eventually delivered after which we got a call from another subcontractor to schedule installation. They wouldn't be able to fit us in for two more weeks. My floors were installed last week. They look great. The installer did a good job. Very professional. No one from the Manchester office has bothered to check in get my feedback let alone refund me the promised portion of the bill. I feel like they took my money in bad faith knowing from the start there was no way they could meet our timeline. They had to know the floors were backordered. They never told us until we already missed the install date. Do not use LL Flooring unless you have all the time to wait. Buyer beware. Whatever they tell you at the store is BS to get the sale. My wife and I went in yesterday. We were the only customers in the store. There were 2 employees there, neither greeted us. After a few minutes, one said "we are resolving a stocking discrepancy". We bought bamboo flooring 6 years ago for our entire upstairs. In spite of it not being as durable as they claimed it would be, I decided to stop in today looking for laminate flooring for a first floor den. Not only was I ignored for most of the time I was in the store, but when I asked for a small sample I was told they didn't have any samples. I think I'm done with Lumber Liquidators. read more
