My husband and daughter both recently have been in to get their teeth cleaned. The hygienists here are always so attentive and careful. They both have seen various hygienists and I would recommend every one of them. They don't leave in pain or abnormally soar. I have heard of some hygienists wrecking their gums. Neither one of them have experienced that. Dr. Clovis takes his time with each patient, approaching any issues or concerns you might have. He gives great game plans if there are any issues with your teeth. My daughter has been going to her appointments by herself for a while now and had always felt comfortable with him. Dr. Clovis is an amazing dentist. I have recommended Benchmark Dental to a lot of family and friends. If you're looking for a great dentist and dental staff, Benchmark is your go to spot. If you have a crown or a filling, these guys are total professionals, and give you great quality care. You are in good hands whether you are with the staff upfront, the hygienist or the doctor. As a sidenote, if you need any orthodontia her husband, Jake Jarvis can fix your teeth and make them all straight. I went to Fairview dental because online it stated free exam and pricing for the work I wanted…read moredone. When I arrived there they wanted to do X-rays which I refused because I didn't want to pay for them. That was fine, the assistant re-glued my temporary bridge in and was having a problem with it setting but said it should be fine, I was never told they wanted to charge me for the re-gluing, it fell out 3 hours later. Now, I keep getting text messages that you are unable to reply too stating I owe $125 for my visit. When I call I can't get ahold of anyone... I'm frustrated and confused. I refuse to pay anything. I hope this dentist office stands by its advertisement.

***PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE***…read more My wife spoke highly of this place. So when we switched insurance plans we decided to come here. We called and scheduled our first appointments. Upon arrival I was asked to provide my insurance, Which I provided. My appointment was a simple check up Hers was a teeth cleaning and check up. I was charged a teeth cleaning on my appointment for some reason as well despite not getting one. After our appointments I paid the co-pay based on what my "insurance covered" according to the lady billing me out. I then had future appointments scheduled for some cavities that needed filling for my wife and I about 3-4 months out. Along with the scheduled date, I was given a printout based on what my insurance covers and what I would have to pay after my next appointment. We go to our next appointments get our cavities filled. I head over to the front counter to be billed and get charged an additional $650 for the cavities being filled. I asked why this amount differed significantly from the quote I received. I was told that the quote was incorrect and upon communication with my dental provider, my insurance did not cover as much. I thought it was weird, but paid it anyways. Three months after my appointment, I get a call saying that I owed an additional $750. When I asked why, I was told because "they forgot to tell me that they do not work with Aetna for dental insurance." Pretty convenient on their behalf to wait until after my last appointment. After my first appointment I had recommended this place to a few friends of mine because the staff seemed friendly. This same thing happened to a friend of mine where they were told far after their appointments that they "forgot they did not work with their dental provider." Not sure if this was a simple office mistake on their behalf or if they are running some kind of scam here But to happen to two people in that short of a time frame makes me truly question. Needless to say, I'm at about a year after my last appointment and for the first time in my life, my teeth that were worked on are sensitive to hot and cold. I do not recommend this place there are several other dentists close by that will take better care of you. ***EDIT*** Upon reading more of their reviews it sounds like I wasn't the first person this happened to.

I am thankful to have found this place. I have felt very calm and comfortable every time. I'm forever grateful that I was able to create a trusting relationship with a dentist. It makes my trips so much easier and my anxiety is not sky rocketing. And the receptionist are very kind and make the experience personable.

I've had one visit and the people were very friendly. The front desk and getting checked in was a very good experience and she was quite lovely. I felt I got good care although I felt I did need to advocate for myself on a few minor things. I didn't want them polishing my teeth before the hygienist had completed her scaling. It is not a good practice to polish teeth before all the plaque has been removed. They have quite a few staff members that do different things. They have two hygienist and then they have assistance that do the polishing. You can request having one person do the scaling and the polishing, but they can only accommodate that on certain days due to the lack of staffing?? So for my next visit, I will have one person do it all. They were quite accommodating. I think I'm scheduled with a different dentist for my next visit. I think I will see her and see how I like her. She is newer in her career, but I feel I might like to give her a shot. The jury is still out for me. I'll update in 6 months.
