When someone drives all the way from Escondido to your facility and is told That they are out of diapers for your mom. So you leave. Only to her a phone call 20 minutes later to say they were incorrect and that they did have diapers in stock. So you tell them you are going to turn around and come pick them up and you also ask for them to have them ready. Mostly because you are on your way to work. You get there and they have them ready to go but ask for you to wait so they can ring another person up. Who is the only other person "sitting" on the waiting room. So you think ...ok. How long could this be ...... well it was over 10 minutes. So at that point i left! She was still trying to figure out how to ring up this other person! I just needed diapers and drove all the way over there and turned around 20 minutes out. Figure out your customer service. I will never ever go here again. And would never ever ver recommend it. Went to get compression socks-they had a model leg with the sock on it-I was asked if I wanted to try it on and stated I can see how it goes on and could do it myself at home. Payed $64.19 for one pair . Got home-very difficult to get on-was very uncomfortable-so I called to return within 48 hours and there policy is no returns on opened packages! What! How can I try them on to see how I like them? Well I had the opportunity In store but I said I needed to test them by wearing them awhile. Nope-No returns on opened compression socks? Everything went really smooth. I had several diabetic shoe orders that needed to be fulfilled, and one wheelchair needing to be delivered on a specific day and time (which was accomplished). The shoes were fantastic, couldn't asked for anything better. Larissa and Kori were professional and lovely. They assisted and communicated how the insurance paper work; all the paperwork was prepared and signed as it should've been.. they were up front about what was covered and what wasn't since it was my first time here. The front desk girl, I believe her name was Angelina, was very polite and informative, she even commented on how nice I looked when I walked in. That was sweet. Immediately after I posted my first review, Yana, a store manager, called me and apologized. She said that their staff made the mistake of telling me that my Tricare would not cover the 20% cost of the shoes. Yana said Tricare covers it. That means I would not be paying anything. When I picked up my shoe, Victoria, a staff at their National City location treated me respectfully and explained everything I needed to know about their policy. She repeatedly asks if I have any other questions. It was a pleasant visit and a smooth one. Yerken, the business owner told me he already talked to a department manager who would soon contact me. This company told me they would deliver a walker on friday, between 10-6. October 1. they called at 422 and told me they would not be able to deliver. Belinda said the next delivery date was 10-7-2021. Reason: they don't have enough drivers to deliver on time. By calling at 422, they made it impossible to get a reference for another company. Deluxe Medical Supply seems to have contacted Yelp to get my first review removed. Yelp says that I didn't supply enough information but all of the relevant information is there. The only possible excuse is that I chose not to contact the person who responded to my review because my family and I want nothing to do with them. Someone from here called my mother and began demanding her sensitive medical information. They said who they were but gave me no idea about why they were calling. They didn't request her information, they demanded it. It was abusive and the entire interaction was unpleasant. That's not the end of it though. The next day she called them to politely suggest that there were better ways to handle calling a customer. It should have been a simple issue. The person to whom she spoke could have simply reminded the person who called from the previous day that it's beneficial to explain who you are and why you're calling. Instead, the person became defensive to the point of being combative. Their customer service is abhorrent and both of the people with whom we've been in contact should be ashamed of themselves. I've never left an online review for anyone before but people should be warned about this place and its employees. They completely forget that they're serving customers and that their customers are how they keep the doors open. I've done retail and I know the customer isn't always right. That doesn't mean you can abuse them for no reason though. They're still customers and you should treat them like the people who keep you in business. We are now in the process of contacting our insurance company and the doctor who referred them to make certain they know we will not work with these people anymore. read more

Basically, if an elderly person with Medicare is in need of a mobile device this is not the place. The company is not set up to assist this type of client. They do accept Medicare patients (government money) but do not have a way to communicate what is needed to the necessary parties. Our case was a 2 wheel walker for an 87 year old. Due to balance issues and recent falls, the doctor determined that this item was medically necessary for her to continue to live on her own. It took over a month to get the walker in her hands. This length in time does not do an elderly person well who is trying to continue with independent living. It becomes critical dangerous emotionally as well as a safety issue. In addition, we had to do all of the work. It required us to make 36 calls to doctor's office, Deluxe Medical Supply and Medicare to finally get what she needed. read more

Awful customer service. The representative on the phone did not know any answers to the questions I had. She had to put me on hold three or four times. Then she finally said she would transfer me to a "compression specialist." I almost hung up but the specialist answered. She answered with a hi to which I proceeded to answer hi. Then she said yes and I answered yes. Then she proceeded to say hello at which point I said I was transferred and she said oh OK hold on and she put me on hold. We had a wheelchair delivered for my mom before she had turned 65. I am her caretaker and she needs lots of help. At one point Deluxe medical group sent my mom a bill. We had to fight this as the lack of communication from Deluxe was far and few between. Also when talking to them on the phone they were short and have very bad attitudes with my mom. So she ended up sending them a check and they ended up sending it back to her because they got approval from my moms insurance. After some time my mom turned 65 and everything changed for her insurance. Deluxe just showed up unannounced at our door 2 back to back days when we were not home, however our cameras caught them. They left a VERY MISLEADING NOTE, which says, "Sorry we missed you! We have medical equipment or supplies delivery for you." However nothing is scheduled for delivery... The problem with all this is, I had taken paperwork to my moms new doctor to resubmit for my mom's new insurance to approve her wheelchair, however we never got any paper work from neither her insurance nor from Deluxe stating that the insurance didn't go through. I called them today to find out why they were coming to our house unannounced. I spoke to John, he was very rude and the reason why I called instead of having my mom call is because she had a bad experience with them the first time. John told me in a very argumentative tone he called my mom when I asked him why we didn't receive any paperwork. Then I asked him if it is their practice to send out a letter as we had received one about a year ago with my mom's old insurance. To which John said no, and yelled back at me saying in a very hostile manner, " he called my mom" as if that is a good practice with no voice mail received. Then I asked him how much it would cost us if we were to pay. He stated that would would be over $900 dollars. Then I asked him why our check was returned the first time for over $100. He said it would have been a co-pay and the insurance covered it. While I was talking to him I checked Amazon and saw the exact same wheelchair with same name brand for less then $900.00 less what he was trying to charge us. This needs to be investigated ASAP! Their is insurance fraud and consumer farud taking place. With such a bad attitude and as John was yelling back at me while my mom was right in front of me on speakerphone we are very saddened by the way John spoke to us. If John speaks to us this way then how does he speak to someone who can't stand up or fight back? Also as I look at their Yelp I notice that they have no reviews which tells me that they must be deleting them, which is why I also will be saving this to my phone. I also will be contacting the Better Business Bureau and inform them of the way we were treated and the unethical business practices that they are taking on so many hurting people. It is SAD that some of you may "HAVE" to use them because of your insurance... I have a medical condition that requires me to wear a custom fitted compression garment, I have had this for over 18yrs and am very familiar with the process. My insurance now only accepts claims though Deluxe Medical Supply or a place in Long Beach, so of course I had to come here for a fitting. Now to prepare for this fitting I had to go to my OT, get messages, and be wrapped in a multi-layer compression bandage for 22 hr a day for 3 days (This is not only ugly, and time consuming, but also very uncomfortable, painful and I had to miss work to get this done) Once I take the bandages off, it is ideal to be measured within 2 hours. So I rushed to my appointment. I got there and 1st, there was no measuring room, I was measured in the lobby (not a huge deal, I am not the type of person that is shy, but I am standing in the lobby in shorts and it does get a bit "personal") Now here is where the problems started. The young man that was measuring me was doing it much differently than I was used to, so I ask him why he was pulling the tape so tight (I assumed he had a reason, and I assumed he knew what he was doing, but I was curious, as in the past I have NEVER been measured like this... ) To keep it as short as possible, the company that makes the garment needs an exact measurement so they can make a garment that fits ME, if the measurements are off, the garment will not fit and will either be too tight and cut into me causing not only pain, but more damage, or if too loose, it won't do its job. He got very upset that I was asking questions (I am a question asker, I was not judging or complaining, I was asking...) It takes about 8wks to get a garment made, IF it comes back wrong, the whole massage/bandages/measuring process has to start all over from the top (4 days of hell) Again, more pain, more missed work, more time without the garment I need. So, I ask questions! He got upset and ask his supervisor to come measure me. Yerken (Ken) T. came out, he smelled very strong of alcohol (it's 9:30ish a.m. at this point), I realize that this is the ONLY place I can go to get my garments ordered that my insurance will work with, so I keep quiet. BUT, still double checking his every move because this HAS to be done right. They had issues with finding the correct charts for the Juzo garment I was ordering, so I called my Juzo distributor directly, and ask him to email me the charts... Meanwhile, "Ken" told the young man to finish measuring me. He took over and I recommended that he measure up my leg and mark it off and then just measure each mark writing it on the chart (the way EVERY other PT/OT/and Supply Vendor has done to get correct measurement, the way the manufacture of my garment recommends.) I still (at this point) was not being rude, just making helpful suggestions...because I NEED this done and done right. Then the young man again got upset, saying "I can't measure her, she complains about everything I do" I said, I was not complaining, I was asking questions and offering advice, I have done this many times and know what happens if its off. ANYWAY.... Here is where it got "ugly" it was obvious that neither of them were familiar with this process and my friend "Ken" made a comment... and I said "Really?, this is what I have to work with here, a man that smells strong with alcohol and a kid that gets offended when I ask him a question!?!?!" I get it... I lost my cool, but I had been standing on my leg and "Ken" was pocking and pushing on it flaring up my pain and we were not getting anywhere close to getting this done. So, "Ken" told me to leave that I offended him.... (really? I think HE offended me!) This place was the most unprofessional "medical supply" I have even been in or had to deal with. I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I had the worst experience trying to get supplies for my father who is 84 years old. He got approved for incontinence supplies from this company since January 2019. It was just back and forth with them telling me I needed to wait for them to talk to the insurance or to the doctor because the size was wrong, then because it was the wrong kind of supplies. I kept waiting for a response, but they never call you back. Finally in April 2019, I spoke to Marina x823, and although it was hard to understand her, she was polite and said she would take care of it personally and let me know what was happening. The next day she called me and left a message saying she had talked to the insurance and just needed to wait for the insurance to get back to her. A month went by, and in May I called Marina at her extension and left her a message saying I haven't heard anything and was following up. She never called me back, I left two other messages different days, no call back. I decided to call the main number and just speak to whoever answered at the beginning of June, it happened to be Marina. She told me that now they were waiting for something from the doctors office that they did not receive back in January, but they had not noticed and that is why they had not requested it. I told her why nobody had called me, and she didn't really have an answer for me. I told her to forget about it because it should not take 6 months to be able to receive supplies from anybody. I called my doctor and told them to refer me to a different medical supply company because I did not want anything from Deluxe Medical Supply. She agreed with me that it shouldn't be this complicated. Next day, Shield Health Care contacted me and the day after, I had supplies at my door. The new company did, what this horrible supply company couldn't do in six months in only two days. Horrible, horrible service. read more
