I really tried to like this place, especially because it's the closest nail salon to me, but after going here for almost two years, I can't justify it anymore. They overcharge for everything--shape, length (even when nails are short), tips--every little detail adds up, and they don't even provide a receipt. For the price, the quality and service should be much better. The quality of the nails is consistently poor. My nails are often uneven, crooked, and all look completely different. When I point it out and ask for fixes, they act like it's my fault and get visibly upset. I've even had to ask for something as basic as an extra top coat because the first one looked almost matte. The service is careless and rushed. They frequently switch nail techs mid-appointment, which happened to me recently--one person started my nails and did half, then another took over and clearly did not want to be there. I originally asked for chrome over white, but by the time we got to that step, I was so uncomfortable with the experience that when she asked if I still wanted it, I said no just so I could leave. One of the worst experiences I've had here was when a male tech stopped doing my nails halfway through because he was upset I came in about an hour and a half before closing. He complained to me the entire time. I was very apologetic because I understand that can be frustrating, but I work full-time and that was the only time I had. For how expensive their services are, I expected to feel like a valued customer--not an inconvenience. While I have built good relationships with a few people here (and there are about three I've liked, including one who has never actually done my nails), that doesn't make up for the overall experience. The manicure staff is noticeably less friendly, while the people who do pedicures are nicer. My toes are usually fine, but even then, they rush through services and spend part of the "massage time" cleaning instead of actually providing the service. I recently paid $70 for a "Long" set of dipped nails that were just basic white with zero design or detail. These nails are only about half a centimeter to a centimeter past my natural nail, so calling them "long" feels misleading. I will be attaching photos of this set in the review. What makes this most frustrating is the complete lack of accountability or care. I wouldn't be this upset if anyone had shown concern about how unhappy I was, but there was zero effort to fix the situation or make it right. At this point, it feels like a waste of money. Honestly, I could have done a better job myself. I truly wanted to love this place, but after multiple bad experiences, I can't recommend it, and honestly, I'd avoid it at all costs. read more

I went to get a pedicure a week and a half ago and believe me, I will never return! The man who gave me my pedicure wounded my fourth toe on my right foot and it did bleed! I don't know what he did but it really hurt. He also asked me if I wanted the dead skin removed from the bottom of my feet and, if so, it would be another $7.00! WTH?!? Excuse me, but thought that always came with a pedicure! I'm mad at myself that I did pay the $42 total, which I should not have done! Therefore, I'm posting this review now to spare someone else the potential agony. O yes, when I left, I was waiting for a friend walked around outside a little bit after my pedi, and looked down at my right foot, and sure enough, it was bleeding again! I went back in to the salon and requested a Band-Aid. Loudly. For all to hear. And get this- when it happened he actually blamed -his negligence- on the anatomy of my foot! No joke! They didn't even try to make it right. He hardly said anything when it happened or afterward. I was charged full price and they didn't even offer me a free visit next time. They did nothing. One of the services I asked for was to have my eyebrows and lip waxed. I told the woman waxing me that it was burning and she continued. I later had burn marks around my eyebrows and on top of my lip. I returned a few weeks later (I liked the quality of the nails and pedi) and asked for wax again. I explained to the woman what happened and she told me the woman doing my wax would be "careful". Wrong! I left the shop with my face burning and having to sleep with a cold compress on my face. Went in for a fill while in the area. My nails looked great at first but started getting stuck in my hair and lifting within a few days. Save your money and go somewhere that takes the time to do their job the right way. They rushed me and didn't file the acrylic right (hints why they lifted). Keep in mind this is only an overlay on my nails with no plastic. They shouldn't be falling apart this fast. One putting a star because it won't post without one. read more

I've been coming to this nail salon for years. While I've experienced some service inconsistencies during the few months before the stay-at-home period I was lucky enough to mainly get good technicians. But since they really messed it up this time I couldn't help by writing a review. After the reopening I called ahead and was told they had space so I could come right away. When I arrived about 15mins later I was told to just seat on whatever chair I'd like, which was odd as there were people in the salon... The lady told me that I didn't need to fill out a paper as she remembered from the call that I was there for a next-gen and a pedi. I chose my color for the pedi and headed to the chair. Service & Quality: While filing my nails with the machine -although I had only regular polish to remove- the guy cut me 3 times. Then the dipping powder application overflowed to my cuticles. Now a week after with a bit of growth my nails are all breaking and even the color is weirdly fading away. Remember how I was here for a pedi too? Well, half an hour after seated I asked if they remembered that I was having a pedi as well; they said that they didn't know... Like my bare feet and the color on the small table wasn't enough indication... Anyways, 10 more minutes have passed and I asked again; the guy that is doing my dipping powder checks with "a manager" lady and says that he'll be doing my pedi as well. He did a better job on the pedi than with the dipping powder, but there is still a lot to be desired on the outcome... Cleanliness: While all the technicians were wearing masks & face shields I noticed that they didn't wash their hands prior to service the next customer. The ones using gloves didn't change them between customers either. Chairs and workstations were not disinfected between customers. Although some acrylic-like dividers are available on the tables so they can be placed between customer and tech I didn't see anyone using them while been serviced. When I asked about what measures are been implemented they only mentioned the masks and dividers, so I'm assuming that the place is not been sanitized. Customers were not required to wear masks while getting their mani/pedis. Pricing: Prices were about $2-3 higher than prior to covid which I wouldn't mind if they were using some to ensure cleanliness which they are not doing as far as I could see. So, I'm not recommending this place and will be trying another nail salon in the area... read more

Anyways- the website clearly describes gentlemen mani/pedi services but once we arrived they had no clue about this and tried saying it was the same as the signature pedicure. Obviously the descriptions are completely different and why pay the same price for a man pedi that doesn't come with paint? My boyfriend got one anyways while I just had gel removed... $10 to buzz off the gel but didn't go any extra steps for cuticle lotion or nail filing. Worst nail experience of my life. The nail tech was the rudest, laziest, and most unaccomodating employee I've ever come across. She should not be employed in customer service. Because of her, I will never return to this salon that I've been coming to for over 10 years. I will also be reporting this to the BBB as she was complaining about the 2 minutes of her time while I was strictly just getting a quick polish change and was the only customer in the shop, while several other employees were just sitting around. Unfortunately Deluxe has once again changed management/staffing and quality has seemed to diminish as well. Helen is gone. Alice is gone. Tram is gone. All of my go-tos that KNEW what they were doing are gone. I've tried to stick with Deluxe because it's so close to my place but I'm over the terrible nail jobs. There's no one that can file and shape nails appropriately. They charge for anything other than a square nail but then the shaping is all over the place. I went in today for a fix and she was in such a rush she did a terrible job. My nail isn't filed so it's sticking out the side of the tip she put on. *woosah* I'll be looking for a new place to call my nail home. read more

Definitely will never come back here. My friend came here a few days before me (darkskinned Black woman) and they told her they didn't have any of the shellac colors in regular polish for a pedicure. I came a week later and they didn't tell me that at all. During my pedicure they told me they would charge me $5 to remove the previous shellac from my toes. After finishing my pedicure I noticed that it was lumpy. I asked the guy at the front why and suggested that it looked they maybe the man didn't fully remove my shellac. He tried to tell me that it was because I had dip previously. First of all I have NEVER had dip on my toes and even IF I had, so what?! Remove it! He removed my polish and took the shellac off but did such a shitty job repainting my toes. Their prices don't match their menu and they don't include the things that the menu says for the pedicures. On top of that the shop is dirty. I would absolutely never come back here which is a shame because I live very close by. There was a new woman that had done my shellac manicure who was nice (I don't recall her name) but the polish didn't last a week and because of pedicure, I'll just go somewhere else. I've been getting my nails done here for a couple of years. Huge selection of dip powder and gel color. Well priced for the area and excellent service. In all my time here I have never had an issue or health concern. My nails are so healthy and strong! There is almost always walk in availability here, even when it's busy, which is great. Facility is clean and well lit. They have very hygienic practices that you can plainly see. Candy is my preferred tech for both nails and pedicures. She does an excellent job. I have had other techs, occasionally, and they do a good job as well. read more

Super bummed. My nails work horrible and it cost me $75. They didn't do a good job removing my cuticles, but the paint job was far worse. I like a white paint for my nails, typically, and I know it's more difficult, but they gave me three coats of polish, which worried me off the bat. They didn't have the skill to do two codes, so they did three and an hour later, several were ruined. Normally, I would give them one star, but they were very nice, so it's a difficult situation. I would think about maybe coming back here again although the price is a little steep, I have never seen get pedicure cost a extra $20 I have seen $10-$15. The massage chairs were really rough but I like how they had two people to speed up service. I've been back to this place more than any other nail salon so they're doing something right. They're always quick & friendly - though I don't always get offered something to drink. I wish they'd take the initiative to ask about my ingrown toenails but I don't always speak up about them either. I ordered a pedicure while no color. Amazing handwork felt so relaxed and calm. The girl who did me was very friendly and easy to talk to. Not one time I felt uncomfortable being there AS A GUY. Now I did not get nail polish but wife did. And she's picky with places, with it being our first time there; she's say they did a great job at the nail polish as well. Just got my nails done here on a whim because I didn't feel like driving to my normal place. My nails look marginal. Nothing special at all. I got a short nail powder dip and all of the "glue polish" is stuck around my fingers and under my nails. It is that awful feeling like your nail tip is glued to your skin. Not worth 40 bucks again.
