I've had decent experiences at Nova in the past. Unfortunately today I wasn't as lucky. Vincent the male nail tech was polite but he rushed through my nails and filed the tips very unevenly. When I asked him to make corrections it seemed to be getting progressively worse. He also questioned me wanting round shaped tips and I went with rounded square (his recommendation) which ended up being more slanted square. My cuticles were also bloody in some areas and they were not trimmed or cleaned up at any point. My two friends had very detailed nail techs who spent much more time (at least 30 mins extra on the whole process) making sure their nails were even. I asked one of the female nail techs who did my friends nails to file and fix mine afterward, and they looked immensely better! I'm overall very happy with how they ended up looking in the end. read more

I have gone to this place many times and used to love it but this last time the customer service was terrible and everything was extremely rushed. My nail tech was very rude and rushed through the whole process as quickly as she possibly could even though I was the only customer there. She also kept filing my nails very unevenly and when I asked her to fix it she refused and was rude to me. Honestly don't waste your time going here not worth it. read more

Meh. I expected top notch service at this highland park location. I went in for dip manicure. There was no soaking of my hands, nails, or cuticle trim or even a cuticle pushback. My nails were trimmed and filed unevenly. There was no hand cream or hand massage. I left with my nails stuck to my skin and nail product under my nail tips and all over my dry, chapped hands and fingers. I'll give them an extra star because their massage chairs were great. read more

Nice and enjoyable experience. Clean atmosphere with a relaxing atmosphere. My pedicurist was great but my sisters pedicurist unfortunately had a language barrier. She has allergies to anything with perfumes and fragrances. She let her know before and ended up having a reaction instantly after they rinsed off the 'cucumber' lotion they put on her legs. Once her pedicurist realized and we showed her the hives she quickly reacted which was appreciated. They had a promotion posted that we went here to use and apparently we were told it was no longer valid. We strongly suggested it be removed since it's advertised. I honestly wish they would have honored it but did not. Hopefully it's removed for false advertising and lack of expectation. Overall a good experience. Hope the issues are taken care of. read more

I did somewhat enjoy my nails, not the greatest quality. When i went in, they rushed my nails to an extent where they did not do a clean job what so ever. I expressed that i did not like them and i was shut down and told they could not fix them. The rushing of my nails really turned me off! read more

The customer service was okay. I have definitely experienced better but I have never been so embarrassed of my nails!! Not only that, but they overcharged. I asked for nexgen in coffin shape and was disappointed to see that they came out square and they looked very sloppily done. That will definitely be the last time I go to Nova nails. read more
