My reviews on this place are very mixed. I've been here twice before and my nails were amazing both times, which is why I decided to get my nails done for my wedding here. After 2 days, I had two loose nails and today (the day before my wedding) my thumb nail popped off. I love the vibe of the salon but this is insane for a $100 service. Loved it here! You walk in and you get a sense of calmness and serenity. ALSO, there's no strong smells of all the chemicals that are used in nail salons. Ainsley, my nail tech, she was great - super sweet and took her time. I showed her what I wanted and she did exactly that. I also noticed that when she finished, my fingers didn't feel tight like I've normally felt at other salons. Like the glue underneath or the nail are tugging at my skin. Didn't feel that at all. Their dip powders don't have a strong toxic smell either, they actually have a sweet smell. I was offered something to drink, I asked for hot tea, white peach flavor. Everyone was super accommodating. What I also liked was that their nail color selection wasn't overwhelming. It was just enough. I did want some nail art, but what I wanted, Ainsley tried, bless her heart, but it didn't come our right. At check out, they did mention a nail warranty. If you happen to break, chip, mess up any nail and all others still look brand new, they'll take care of it at no charge. I would say it is an upgrade from our previous place at Posh Nail Salon for pedicures. However, I must say I miss the NYC nail salons. This was easily the most relaxing, serene, well skilled, hospitable, comfortable pedicure I've had in my life. I work as a nurse and am on my feet a lot so my feet are very beat up. Mindy pampered my feet so amazingly I didn't want to get up. I got the pedicure #3 so it's slightly pricey to me -$65 I think - but I came from Washington DC where most pedicures were like $50 anyhow. I love this modern bougie nail lab! My friend made a post and I asked her to come with me for a nail date! This place is super cute decor. Everyone is extremely nice here. I was greeted and pampered right away. There are some desserts and snacks offered at the nail lab section. They have plenty of colors to choose from. I've been to adore one time before for a somewhat complicated gel design and they came out great but I went yesterday and was very disappointed. I asked for black gel nails with a marble design on four. I also asked for short coffin/square nails with rounded edges and the tech said my nails were too short. The design wasn't working out and kept looking messier with each try so I asked if we could just do black nails with some kind of gold charm. The tech agreed and seemed understandably frustrated. However, one of my nails was left without a gel top coat and two of the charms have fallen off and it's only been one day. Very disappointed for 60$ with tip. read more

I have been a customer at Adore for about 3 years. The staff has changed recently which has made it difficult for the Manager. About 6 weeks ago I had an unfortunate experience related to scheduling and voiced my displeasure regarding the incident. The Manager and I discussed a way to move forward and since that time, and I have not experienced nothing but exceptional service. I was greeted and taken care as I arrived. Julie gave me a perfect pedicure, Crystal and Hong(sorry if I misspelled his name wrong) did my manicure! It's been about 3 weeks since I got my gel manicure, and there has been no signs of chipping or peeling. Typically the tips of my nails start to crack and chip first, but I've been impressed by their longevity! One star comes off because it is on the relatively more expensive side ($50 for gel manicure, whereas some others in the area are $40-$45), but would go back again, and with the amount of time that the nails last, it would be worth it over time. I knew I would be hanging out around this area on Saturday afternoon and had been wanting to get a nice gel manicure for myself for a while, so Yelping some nice Richardson salons brought me here! I'd actually originally scheduled a nexgen French, but Mindy came out around ten minutes before my appointment and told me that Frenches actually look a lot better with gel and nexgen is better with full color, so I opted to go for the gel French instead. Tim did a really great job; the appointment took a little over an hour, which is a bit longer than I'm used to, but that was because he was extremely meticulous with each layer of the manicure and made a lot of little adjustments to make sure it looked great. There was even a little cat figurine to put my ring on while he worked, and the setup was really nice and cozy. Also, since I paid with cash, I got 10% off the entire experience! Severely lacking in customer service. They give me a poor quality nail technician because the others who are more requested don't want to see me. I was told that I always have problems every time I come in. The quality is hit or miss with the technician they gave me. I have to micromanage every little thing. They were great to have everyone wear masks, and the employees would wear a face mask and another mask as well. To enter I had to wear a mask and sanitize and put gloves on which is great! This is for the new state Thomas location. 5 stars for ambiance and non-toxic offerings. Oh man, this place is *so* cute and doesn't smell like all the chemicals when you walk in and has lots of 5-free polishes. I wanted to like it so much! But two stars for the manicure. It might have just been my manicurist, but she seemed like she was in a rush and took a big chunk out of my finger when trimming cuticles. It took almost four cotton swabs to make the bleeding stop! Then, she used the electric nail file normally used for acrylic nails on my natural nails to smooth out the buffs, but she filed over my wound (ouch!) and filed down my normal nails so much they were sensitive -yikes! Overall I'd give it another try if I went with another manicurist, but I'd make sure it's someone recommended on here, because everyone else seemed to have normal experiences. -- EDIT: One of the managers quickly reached out with a thoughtful response. I waited a good almost 3.5 weeks before writing a review just to see how long my gel manicure could last...I went with a group of 6 of us 3.5 weeks ago for a friend's wedding. I can now say that the manicure that I received from Sally is by far, the best manicure I've ever gotten, IN MY LIFE! I have had absolutely NO chipping from it and it's grown out so nicely. I mean, my gel manicures would always chip a little bit and NEVER last this long, so SALLY thank you thank you!! As a new mom this was such a luxurious experience...I had a gel manicure and a regular pedicure, we weren't rushed out of there at all, the chairs are so comfy...and again Sally was super conversational and sweet and helped me pick great colors for my fingers and my toes. Is it the most expensive manicure and pedicure I've ever gotten? Yes. But, once in awhile to pamper yourself this place is the place to go. It doesn't smell terrible b/c they don't use acrylic, it feels super modern and clean. YES! Whenever I go back to Dallas...not sure when it will be...I AM COMING BACK HERE! Had a girls night with my sister and booked a mani/pedi at Adore! My sister has been coming here since they were located in Richardson, but this was my first time. The salon was beautiful, very modern, and decorated in pastel colors. They have cute boutique style chairs and chrome bins to soak your feet instead of the standard pedicure chairs. They also offered light refreshments consisting of fruits and assorted bakery items like macaroons. We booked with Mindy and Lala - the salon OGs and absolutely the sweetest ladies. I picked out an intricate marbling design with gold accents. Mindy did a fantastic job on my hands, taking care to smooth out every bump and misalignment. I did not feel rushed and she kept asking me if I was happy with the progress of her work. My only complaint is that the prices are a bit high. Keep your eyes open for this hidden gem off Allen St. It's easy to miss so watch for the green 15-minute parking signs on the right side of Allen St. They sometimes have a pink and white Adore sign out front but it's not gigantic and ostentatious. I was really looking forward to my appointment after receiving a recommendation from a friend and seeing that they have maintained their five star status, even with several hundred reviews. Khai, Who did my manicure, made sure to check in with me every step of the way to make sure I was pleased with the color, shape, and overall look of my nails. When the color I had chose wasn't as opaque as I expected, he brought over two additional colors that he both tested on me to make sure that the new color I chose would be perfect. I mentioned to him that I really wanted to make sure that my cuticles were pushed back and looked very clean, and he made sure to do just that. Everyone there is so friendly and I really appreciated how they went above and beyond to make sure I had a great experience. One of the gentleman working even brought over a stylus pen after noticing I was having a little bit of trouble on my phone because of the foils on my nails. So unexpected, but so appreciated. Little things like this truly make it a five-star experience! The lovely lady who checked me out made sure I knew that they have a warranty on their gel nails (7days) and I loved that they even have it posted so it's clear to their customers that they value your service and will make things right if anything happens to your nails. If I remember correctly, for regular polish it is 2 days and for dip it is 10 days. Overall I had a great experience & I will definitely be returning!! read more

There is a modest selection of great colors to choose from. They have treats available. It smells like a bakery or high end spa. I can't decide. Their use of organic products makes this luxurious.
