I broke a nail and they didn't charge me for fixing it. It wasn't their fault, i just snapped it in the lid of my trash can. Taking care of your customers like this is how you ensure they come back and i certainly will! Thank you!!

DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!! The nail tech drilled a hole through my nail that hit my skin. I was bleeding a lot then at the end they STILL CHARGED ME!!! The manager also told me to come back in 3 days so she could put a nail on it which is not possible. Completely ruined my nail and I can't get done till it grows out. DONT COME!!!!!! If it get infected it would be really bad.

The staff is so sweet and my nail tech, Tom is the bomb. He takes his time to file and shape your nails to perfection. The retention is amazing! My nails have gone up to 5 to 6 weeks without needing a fill. The shop has a great atmosphere to go and visit; sit back and relax.

I came for a simple fill and was looking to do a small design, expecting it to be about 50 dollars total. When we got to the point of design, she said it would be 45 DOLLARS for just the design ALONE?! it is 4 gel flowers? not even 3D? i ended up skipping it because 45$ is bonkers. the pic below is what i wanted. second pic is what i got. charged me 55 to add a little bit of nude acrylic to the bottom and add a topcoat. hello? that is the same price of a FULL SET. total rip off. used to love this place such a shame. not to mention the nail tech was nasty about it as well

I have been going to Luxe Nails since they opened and absolutely love this place. They are attentive and always make sure to accommodate you even when they are busy. The nail techs always go above and beyond to make sure they nail (pun intended) whatever inspo I come in with that day. I highly recommend this place for clean and professional nail services!

Even though my nails turned out good and I have nothing bad to say about my technician, or the salon really, What I'm going to say is I came in with no nails at all, so I didn't get charge for no nail removal. I asked her how much it would be for a full set for a long nails I didn't even say medium length, all this is is just acrylic and a special kind of tip not even a shape. She said a full set with acrylic would be $45 I said okay, well what about length and the the straight tip? And she continued saying maybe $5 for length extra so I'm thinking okay $50-$55 max.. awesome book me please. No, they charged me $80 for this one solid color, with no design, shape or anything. Something is not right. So I would recommend asking while you're getting them done how much it's going to be because I feel like I walked in and they ripped me off. There's no way that this adds up to $80. And I asked twice and I didn't want to make a scene and keep asking questions because they looked at me like I was stupid and it was kind of busy and I got embarrassed, but I got this in my pedicure with gel which is a good price for $45 so totaling is 125, and I still left a $15 tip. All I'm saying is I feel really taken advantage of because I got my nails two days ago and I'm still feeling some type away about it.

My first time here wasn't bad but I'm very picky with how my nails are done and my 2nd trip here gave me enough reasons to not come back. The service honestly isn't too bad, or not even bad at all.. but I called ahead to put my name down and even then I just felt very rushed? 1. I got at least 2 cuts on my fingers from grinding the cuticles and 2 on my toes from cutting 2. The design wasn't what I wanted. But I felt so rushed to the point that even I couldn't wait to leave to make space for them. *see pictures for designs 3. This is what bothered me the most: Idk what top coat they used? I first noticed there was something wrong with my "top coat" because fuzz from my clothes started sticking to my nails. When I informed the lady who took my payment, she told me the guy who did my nails "forgot to wipe it off with acetone." ?? Which I've never had to do the many years of doing dip nails. By the second day, I saw that the top coat on one of my fingers had started to peel off. I didn't have time to go back to them for just one finger so I brushed it off and used my own top coat on it. Few days later, I noticed that the glossiness on all the fingers had disappeared. I do wash my hands often but again, I've been getting dip (and it's always on my natural nails) for the longest time and this has never happened. I also noticed that they started lifting & started to peel off. Week and a half in, the top coat on all the fingers (but the ring with the designs on it: another technician drew the designs and I actually saw him put the top coat on it, but not the tech who did everything else) had completely peeled off. This is the shortest time I've ever had a dip done on my nails. Too bad because I really wanted to like this place :(

I think I'm starting to hate this place. I have been coming for over a year, and I ended up taking a hiatus. I stopped coming for 3 months bc I truly never feel taken care of or like I'm getting the quality that's desired. My birthday is on Friday and figured that my at home shellac nail kit is not enough for my birthday. And said, you know what let me try again. But just as usual, I was rushed through my whole appointment and every reason that made me stop coming was still present. At the end, I kindly just asked for the best 1 or 2 people's names so that I can schedule appointments with them in times that are not busy, and the lady who is supposed to help me was also rushing. I work in cosmetics as well and I know it's a tough service business so I'm always mindful. I never caught an attitude or raised my voice. I just kindly asked. And she never gave me any names of the best techs and just said "come in the mornings." Which I was already planning to do since I see they don't do well with high volumes. She didn't listen to anything and just sent me on my way. It was so bad that a girl waiting to get checked in who overheard had to stop my on my way out and point to a guy that she knows is good. And literally said "she's rushing you too." I still gave a small til bc times are hard but man. They have disappointed me more times that not that I bought my own nail kits to not have to come to these high volume asian nail shops. They do not value their customers, and sure do not value people like me. Never pulling a race card but I can only imagine how much my voice doesn't matter in the midst of all they have going on. Anyways, I'm looking for a boutique nail tech if anyone knows of any. Please let me know.

I have gotten a mani and pedi here but for my Birthday I got acrylic nails. The shape was ok except one was filed smaller than the rest. I JUST got my nails done a couple days ago and the polish is already coming off. I paid $150 plus tip and VERY upset the color is already coming off. I do r think I'll get them done again here. Maybe they forgot to put a clear coat but not happy. read more

This has become one of my favorite / go-to nail salons. The staff are always polite and accommodating. I never have to make a reservation, I call before coming and they're always able to get me in. All of the nails techs are pretty good and fast, my fav so far is Tim. Im picky with my nails and he did my nails perfectly! The only negative is the parking lot. It's very small and usually packed. You'll most likely have to park on the street or Uber/Lyft there. read more

There's absolutely nothing I can say bad about this place. I always feel warm and welcome. Never feel rushed. My pedicure is always last for well over two weeks Nails impeccable again. There's just honestly nothing. I can say bad about this place. Everyone is welcoming. read more

I have been going to this location for years. I'm officially done. Ordered a complimentary drink and it was full of bugs. I stopped counting after 6. When I brought the issue to the staff's attention they removed drink but proceed to laugh in my face. Once they realized I wasn't ok only then did they ask was I ok. I felt completely disrespected and mortified that I could've consumed bugs. Also, they did not attempt to rectify the issue just asked if I wanted another drink! ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! I will not be returning. Update: Someone from the location text me last night apologizing. They stated they weren't aware I had bugs in my drink and to give them another chance. Overall, I think I am done with the establishment I have been a customer over 3 years and to be disrespected to this degree I cannot return. Customer service definitely needs improvement. However, this may be a one off situation give it a shot my nails have always been beautiful and I was satisfied until yesterday. read more

LOVE Luxe. I always come for acrylics and pedis. Ask for Jack or Tom. They are the best! Luxe offers tea, coffee or cocktails while you get your services done. It's usually super busy so call ahead and make an appt. The only downside is parking can be a little hectic. read more

I went in for an overlay. I've been in before for an overlay. When I sat down I said what I wanted and the guy (tall and slim) pulled out tips. I said no I don't want tips I just want the acrylic overlay. The front desk girl had to translate to him and then he proceeded to start the overlay. I thought it was going good until he shaped them. Once I looked he literally had shaped them where there was a curve in the middle of all my nails on the right. I asked why would you do that? They're uneven and weird looking. Of course he pretended to not understand what I was saying. I kept telling him I didn't like it. I know the front desk girl knew I didn't like it because he said something to her when I kept saying I didn't like it. I knew she knew because she'd asked everyone else how their experience was (I know because I had the chair next to the counter) but when I got there she rang me up quick and walked away. At first I was like forget it I don't have the time and walked out but no! I went back in and voiced my concern and asked for a refund. She wanted me to wait around or come back the next day. I'm like no I have plans hence why I'm in here now. she told me no refund and I could do what I wanted to do. Not to mention I even asked for the guy who'd done my overlays before because I didn't want any problems after the guy originally didn't understand what I wanted. Smh won't have to worry about me stepping foot in there again because if I would have snapped on her for what she said I'd be the angry woman. I digress.. read more

parking lot right out front, I came in early and they were able to assist me right away the guy who did my nails quick and my nails came out amazing. Nice and crisp is how I like my nails and he did that. Pricing was good defiantly recommend! read more

55 for no tip on nails and no filing or shaping. I'm talking nails we're at my skin short. the lady was nice but since it's right next to highland park they charge high prices. Good luck getting good service if you don't look like you have designer/name brands on. Parking is terrible as well. & I tipped $10 when I really shouldn't have. But I know the cs industry and how much nails do not get paid. Again no fault to the nail tech. Just the owner that makes them charge high & they don't get half of that. read more

Burn my daughters fingers using acrylic a service she never ask for it. I call spoke to the owner and ask for a partial or refund and he refused and hang up the phone. Extremely upsetting and he charge her $125!!! for bad service. How is that possible? read more

Every tech does a a great job. However when asking for pricing it is never shared. I've received inconsistent pricing when I've gone and this last time was just the end for me. I don't understand the lack of customer service. Details: I didn't get a specialty cut it was the square shape but they added a charge for that. A nail removal charge as well, they usually waive it when you do your nails too. When I dress comfortably they do not offer drinks but when I go after work dressed with my coach or LV bag they're kind and offer drinks. Lastly, Parking is terrible. Front desk made it clear they didn't care to lose my business. There was no yelling just no care for all the add on or an explanation. they are also not tracking the rewards system. So I'd rather drive to Irving and provide it to the friendliest staff there. read more

I've been to many nail salons in Dallas, and this one is now my go-to spot. Show them a picture of what you want and they'll give to you. They're attentive. When it comes to each phase from the shaping to length they'll ask you in between if they look good. When it came to my toes . They asked me if I like a more square or rounded toe nail. If I wanted to even then all out or keep them on a lengthier side. "To the T". Thank you luxe :) read more

Was referred to this place by a friend so I ended up going bc her nails always came out cute. I was greeted by staffs which was amazing as far as customer service. One thing I didn't like was they never gave me price options on my nails. I got a gel pedicure and full sets. My nails did however come out soooo pretty. So I ended up paying $125(usually out of my price range) but my toes just look sloppy and is already chipping which idk how bc it's supposedly " gel ". I never will come back to this place when I can get better work done for both a full set and pedicure for under $100 read more

I want to start with 4.5 . Only because parking is hard when there is so much traffic. But overall employees are very nice. Clean, nice nail salon. Very professional and friendly staff. For pedicure request Tan. He is very talented and can help you with deluxe organic pedicure to help you for your long work week. Ivy was gentle with my fresh manicure . I've tried so many other places since moving because this one is now a little far with from me but no one else compares. I absolutely love every set I get here and every tech is good at what they do, though I do of course have my favorite (Jason). RARELY you'll get someone that might be a little aggressive while filing or buffing but if you say something they're really good about correcting it. I will be transparent- they are kind of pricey but you get what you pay for! read more

I've been coming here for a few years and I won't go anywhere else. The salon is impeccably clean, organized, and everyone who works there is customer service oriented and professional. Tom is my go to guy, he is a perfectionist and his work is the highest quality that I've found in Dallas. He is a true artist and hand paints the smallest details and designs flawlessly. Clean and nice enough place. For some reason, my dip manicure ended up with one hand longer than the other. I had broken a couple nails on my left hand previously. Not sure why when I said make them even it meant even to themselves rather than even with each other? I left with my right hand filed long and the left hand filed short. Pedicure was good but pricey. read more

I usually have Mai for my nails if she's available and Tom as my backup. They both do such a great job and always pay attention to detail. I say Tom as backup because I went to mai first so she will always be first pick! Hazel does my pedicure and I never have to tell her anything or say anything cause she knows how I like it. The only thing I gotta tell her is my color if I change from black. Tracy does my eyebrows and is always spot on! Make sure to make an appointment if you want to be taken cared of by the right people! I made a mistake and had to go elsewhere because I didn't make an appointment with such short notice. The girl who did my mani just kinda slapped some lotion on my hands at the end, no massage or rubbing the lotion all the way in. However the woman who did my eyebrows was excellent and very sweet and professional. I was just kinda disappointed in the appointment as a whole, especially after seeing all the good reviews on here. My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.

My elder niece and I went with spa pedicures, and I also had dip removal and a nail shape-up on my natural nails. My pedicure was terrific--the leg massage almost put me to sleep in the chair--I was so relaxed and it was just what I needed. My niece also got a manicure and said her experience was good, not mind-blowing, but still enjoyable. The little ones got their nails polished and were happy as can be. The Ulux staff even let them hang out in a massage chair together like "big girls" while they waited for our services to wrap up--adorable. Ulux offers complimentary drinks too: wine, soda, and water. My elder niece and I sipped wine, the girls got a bag of chips from the staff, and it all made for a festive girls' day out. Also, I received a discount as a first time visitor, which was a nice touch. Kevin mentioned they also have a second location in Oak Lawn, which I plan to check out next time. Parking in this area can be a little difficult, so I chose to Uber--definitely a smart move on a busy holiday week. First, let me give credit where it's due: Louis, you killed it as always. Your dedication, your artistry, and your commitment to giving the best possible service never go unnoticed. Even though the cat-eye design wasn't possible this time, my nails still look amazing because of your skill and professionalism. Thank you for consistently showing pride in your work. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same about my pedicure experience. I came in with a clear vision and even showed the design the same one Louis understood immediately but the nail tech doing my pedicure could not execute it. After five attempts, I was almost sent out the door with something that looked like a tic‑tac‑toe board. At that point, I had to advocate for myself and say, "No, this is not what I asked for," and request that it be removed and replaced with a simple cat-eye. What made it worse was the lack of basic care. He didn't even clean around the toes properly you can still see black and dark blue around the nail beds. That alone shows a lack of attention and professionalism. What frustrated me most wasn't just the inability to do the design it was the lack of honesty. Instead of admitting he didn't know how to do it, he was willing to let me leave with a kindergarten-level design and still pay full price for a service that wasn't delivered. Even after the correction, I left very dissatisfied and disappointed with the pedicure overall. And yes, like I always do, I still paid and tipped generously. But I will not be returning. I'm nobody's fool, and I refuse to be taken advantage of. To Louis, thank you for your outstanding work, your consistency, and your genuine customer care. You are the reason I stayed as long as I did.

That left me wondering whether the advertised $35 acrylic fill only includes the acrylic base with no polish at all, because that wasn't clear. On top of that, the French tip design was charged as $20 instead of the $8 listed on the website. While I'm happy with how my nails turned out, the pricing felt inconsistent with what was advertised, and I left feeling deceived by the unexpected charges.

Proof that they are RUDE and have HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Where do I begin? This place is very pricey. The girls at the front are rude! And they do not care at all about being polite. I noticed when I first found this place on Yelp. The manager that runs this nail shop actually clicked on all the negative comments saying that their review was funny. The staff was very welcoming, and we appreciated that they told us the pricing upfront--no surprises there. The drinks were a nice touch, and the salon had a friendly and clean atmosphere. My nail tech was very kind and clearly a perfectionist. She did get a little frustrated when I moved my hand, but I could tell it came from wanting everything to be just right, which I appreciated. At one point, I told her I felt a burning sensation on one of my nails, and she immediately applied a calming spray, which helped. Unfortunately, my best friend didn't receive the same level of care. During her appointment, she mentioned that her nails felt hot while the acrylic was being applied. Her tech said that happens sometimes, which we understand, as it's not unusual. But several hours later, my friend's nails are still hurting her, and she was not offered anything to soothe the discomfort, unlike I was. It feels like her concerns weren't really addressed in the moment. Additionally, she asked for a tapered square shape, but the tech told her she should ask for coffin nails next time. We know what a tapered square looks like, so that exchange felt unnecessarily dismissive. Another reason for the rating drop is that we were charged for "length"--but we both got fairly short nails. We even posted photos because it's unclear where that extra charge came from. I'm not expecting a refund, and I understand that a salon in downtown Dallas will likely cost more, but with higher pricing should come a more consistent quality of service. While parts of the experience were positive, the discomfort my friend is still dealing with, along with the shape miscommunication and unclear pricing, made this visit fall short of expectations.

However, I was charged an additional $20 for gel polish on top of the acrylic fill, but after getting acrylic fills for years at many different salons, I've never been charged a separate fee just for the color. That left me wondering whether the advertised $35 acrylic fill only includes the acrylic base with no polish at all, because that wasn't clear. On top of that, the French tip design was charged as $20 instead of the $8 listed on the website. While I'm happy with how my nails turned out, the pricing felt inconsistent with what was advertised, and I left feeling deceived by the unexpected charges.

Also two rough textured fingernails where one cracked and popped off in less than 24 hours. The technician took over two hours to complete the email job after removing the gel polish 3 times due to mishaps in her process. I asked Lisa when I arrived at 10 and was informed she will be here in 10 minutes. An hour later into the pedicure O asked again , she again said 10 mins. 10 mins later two techs arrived and advised Lisa is at the doctor. There was acrylic on one of my toes from the previous week where I asked the tech to provide an overlay on a split nail. I asked her thin it out several times and she either didn't understand or just what she created was acceptable.. this week I asked the tech four times to remove it all together and she seemed displeased at my request and finally removed it force instead of soaking it off. It is a good idea to have technical talent to perform the required skills of the trade in your absence. I would hope to have the great spa I experienced on my first visit with Lisa but this not the case. I was burned by the nail drill and nautical nails damaged by improper drilling as well as left with a gel light under my feet 5 mins after the 50 second dry time. I'm hoping Lisa can redo my nails and correct the issues. Otherwise I am left with no stars for this business rating.

The nail salon was clean and I observed the technicians practicing correct hygiene. The utensils were in sterilization pouches, and I checked to see that they were using new and different utensils for each one of us. They were friendly and we had great conversation :)
