My hair is medium length and I have never had an issue with getting a good perm. The girl doing my hair was young and seemed like she was new and not experienced as everything she did took forever. I was patient hoping this would be a great perm. I also told her I wanted layers in my hair as well. After the rods were removed I noticed the curl seemed very loose. She barely cut any hair at all and when I mentioned to her that I had to leave in 10 min to get my son from school, she magically was done cutting even though she never did any layers and nothing touched on top. $150 and I was told she gave me a 25% discount. Waste of time and waste of money. My hair didn't look much different from before the "perm". I did call the owner and asked for a refund, she was defensive but did offer a partial refund as well as a future free haircut from her but I honestly have no desire to return to that salon. I believe she should have given me a full refund as well.

Sadly, it was worse than I get even in the cheapest salons in Chinatown, Houston, Tx. Bought two facials on groupon and also purchased two brow waxes while there for my friend and me. While waiting two groups came to buy stuff from the boutique but both left because there was no one to service them upfront. The woman who was suppose to do our facials apparently left 10 minutes before our appointment to go eat and was 15 or twenty minutes late. Then, my facial appointment, which typically takes 45 to 60 minutes was rushed to be about 30 maybe with no extractions at all. She pretty much just layered chemicals on top of my face and on top of each other over and over. Bogus. Brows:I told her I keep my brows thicker but right now they were just too thick but to not make them small... My eyebrows are way too thin for my liking and I will have to pencil them in for a while. My friend had a similarly short and near useless facial AND her eyebrows are also way too small and even smaller than mine. Not a happy camper and will not use this place again if I have the option. Bleh.

My husband and I stood at the entrance for at least 10 minutes after checking in, before anybody came from the back of the salon. She said it wouldn't be a problem to do my nails. Good thing because nobody else was there. She did a full set of ombré acrylics super fast. I was actually pretty impressed, aside from one of the nails was crooked when I looked closer at them. When she was finishing, she asked if I wanted a manicure too, to trim back my cuticles and "stuff". Doesn't a full set come with that?? Anyway, when she finished, she talked me into a pedicure. I got the middle package, whatever it's called. It was completed pretty quick, which I thought was weird. Halfway through, my massage chair quit working. When I went to pay, the lady had overcharged me from what their sign had advertised. At this point, I was a little irritated so I just paid. I actually gave her a pretty good tip too. The next morning, I was missing the paint on 2 of my toe nails. I got them done on a Sunday. By Wednesday, I was missing the paint on 4 nails total. The big toe on my right foot was chipped as well. I've had pedicures last for at least a month before. This was terrible quality.

I canceled the appointment more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment, and the business confirmed this. Instead of releasing the hold to my credit card, she charged me $100 dollars. During my interaction with the business, they did not mention anything of a non-refundable charge until I inquired about the unauthorized charge on my credit card. I have now filed a claim with my credit card company and submitted proof with screenshots that the appointment confirmation outlined the cancellation policy and proof that I followed the policy! They have opened an investigation and credited my money back! This would have been the first time using this business, and this is not how we treat customers. I would understand the charge if I had been a "no show" or last-minute cancellation, but this was not the case! Do not use his business. They are crooks!
