Mackie was my PT throughout my journey and without him I would not be walking, hiking, biking, playing pickleball, golfing, etc.. He was incredibly knowledgeable about what I needed, pushed me when I didn't necessarily want to be pushed, but did it all with the utmost professionalism and compassion. I went back again for PT after my 5 month mark because I just felt I wasn't where I needed to be and had full intention of downhill skiing in January. When I came back Mackie again was outstanding. He contoured all my exercises to help me with strength and flexibility for skiing and we worked hard to obtain this. By the time I left after my 6 weeks, I felt confident, flexible, and happy. He is by the far the reason I am where I am today and couldn't be more grateful to him and the entire staff at Mendelson Kornblum PT.

A dying breed of doctors who gave us his cell phone for any after surgery concerns etc. and responded almost instantly every time. Husband is very pleased with the results and although it will be a bit of time to get back to a new "normal" we would recommend this doctor to anyone who needs back surgery. If you are having a side effect of a medication he prescribed give him a chance to correct either dosage or a different medication that would be better for you. Don't challenge his intelligence. Just remember we all can have different opinions on certain things. Like Vaccines should not have Thimerosal (Mercury) as a preservative. I confronted him about this and we agreed to disagree.

He was in excruciating pain immediately following the procedure, and despite repeated attempts to reach the podiatrist, we were unable to speak with him until the following afternoon. Because the surgery was performed on a Friday and the office was closed, we felt completely without guidance or support during what turned out to be a very difficult postoperative period. Instead of addressing our concerns with compassion, the podiatrist became confrontational when asked why we received no post operative guidance and why he was unavailable. He raised his voice, spoke over me and focused on defending himself rather than addressing my husband's condition. As a spouse advocating for my husband, I found his behavior both shocking and unprofessional. My husband is currently hospitalized due complications from his surgery but we are hoping for a full recovery. I realize that complications can come from any surgery but communication, availability and respectful treatment of patients should never be an option. Due to our experience I cannot recommend this practice. I have to leave a star unfortunately in order to post this review.
