The server kept walking by and giving us looks that made us feel like we were being rushed. Then a woman, who I think was the manager, came over again to remind us about the cake fee, even though we had already said we weren't eating it there. I completely understand if a restaurant has a cake-cutting fee, but it should be communicated upfront. I've never felt so unwelcome while celebrating a birthday.
