Brought in my 2017 Nissan rogue to get repairs done changing out the mass airflow sensor an programming the part. After paying the $900 like they asked me the Car still was running rough and Sending high RPMs to the car bringing the car to the Demontrond only 3 hour after picking up the first time. The parts sell rep told me they don't have the right equipment to program the Nissan car. That I would have to take it to a Nissan dealership to get it worked on and fix the correct way which also cost me $720 after taxes at the dealership to make sure the car was fixed correctly. I feel as if Detron should not have chicken on the job if they did not have the right professional equipment for the Nissan vehicle, but they still took the money they had no comment afterwards. read more

Is there a way to rate the work at 0 stars? My Durango Citadel had front end damage - a canoe literally flew off the back of a truck and smacked into the front end. I took it to the Dodge dealership thinking it was the best option for repair. Not so much. Not even. Not convinced they used new parts which were authorized by the insurer. The hood wasn't aligned, the dashboard lights indicating a front end collision came back on minutes after picking it up, they've stayed on ever since. The drivers side door is misaligned. The rubber bumber keeps coming off. The windshield is cracking. I took it back 3 weeks after the 'repairs' were made and was told I had 'been involved in another accident'. Yeah. Or....not. The biggest irony? The receipt for the repair provides a 'lifetime guarantee'. You betcha. What a joke. They couldn't polish a tricycle without adult supervision. Probably had to use Utube to figure out how to open the hood. Now I have to pay for a reputable body shop to actually repair the car. I wouldn't buy a car from them. I wouldn't use their service department. Calling it a 'body shop' or 'collision repair' is material misrepresentation. read more

Absolute nightmare experience at Demontrond. Do not take your vehicle here. My husband called on 6/12 asking if they could look at our Jeep quickly because it was needed for work the following week. They said yes, so he had it towed and dropped off the same day. Took them til 6/15 to give him the repair estimate. The repairs were going to cost more than the vehicle was even worth, so on 6/16 he asked them for an appraisal on what they would buy the Jeep for instead. He then called repeatedly on 6/20, 6/22, 6/23, and 6/24. Every time they claimed they would handle the appraisal and just kept pushing it off onto someone else. I also called on 6/25 and 6/26 trying to get answers. On 6/26 they finally called and said they would buy it for $1,000 and waive the $200 fee for diagnostics. They explicitly confirmed that I could drop off the title and pick up the check on Monday and that my husband did not need to be there as he had work. I went in on 6/29 with the title. They turned me away and said it had to be my husband and that they had no record of the call or the price they offered for the vehicle. My husband went in on 7/3 with the title. Suddenly the offer was only $600. When he reminded them of the $1,000 agreement, they walked it back to $1,000 and said they would still waive the diagnostic fee but the check would take 7-10 business days. On 7/17 his rep texted asking for a picture of his ID because I guess they forgot that step. By 7/23, with still no check, my husband went back to the store. The check they finally produced was only for $800. We wasted more than a month of back-and-forth, repeated broken promises, bait-and-switch pricing, and unnecessary runarounds all while they sat on a vehicle and money we needed. They were aware we had a cash offer, but we were trying to avoid transporting an inoperable vehicle or we wouldn't have sold it to them in the first place. Communication was terrible, commitments meant nothing, and they nickel-and-dimed us after locking us into the process. Avoid this place. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - If I could give zero stars I absolutely would. I bought a 2019 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from them DEMONTROND PRE-OWNED CONROE in May 2025. Per the pre-owned sales staff, the car had been mechanically vetted and had regular service records. One week later, I had a mechanical breakdown on the highway. I was upset, pulled over and called the dealership. I thought no company is going to be ok with something they sold breaking down within the week it was purchased. The sales rep told me in so many words "call your insurance" "You bought it as is" "Its not our problem." I towed it to Hyundai in Conroe because Hyundai in Humble didn't take my extended warranty. They have been so kind. The verdict, the oil had not been changed as told by Demontrond. The car needed a missing skid plate as well a knock sensor which was causing the initial fault code. The knock sensor had to be replaced twice because something was causing it to constantly fail. Since the car has been in and out of the shop for various issues such as EGR Valve, gasket, wheel speed sensors etc. Now it is sending a code for "total engine failure." ALL less than a year after buying the car. I've driven Hyundai of Conroe rental cars more than I've driven the car I'm paying for, as they have been so kind to let me do. Demontrond of Conroe is by far the worst car buying experience I have ever had. It was the newest car I've ever been financially able to buy and yet the worst car. Right now Hyundai is checking to see what can be done. My loans Gap and my extended warranty, I was responsible enough to purchase, only covers collision and acts of God. It will not cover mechanical failure, due to the dealer selling me a lemon. read more

I took the van in for a rattle in the front end. I was told it was the bracket to the power steering. The bill also included fixing a rack and pinion issue that totaled over $5400 dollars. I also asked for the washer fluid sprayers to be fixed and a 100,000 mile point check. I was charged for it. They did not fix the sprayers, did not change the oil, which was showing on the warning lights. The wiper blades needed to be replaced, visible tearing, and they did not fix or even call me about it. And to top that, they did a front end alignment that I never asked for. Avoid this service department like the plague!! Very unprofessional. read more

I bought a new truck on the 15th of July 2026. The sales man took two weeks to get my Ram accessories. I asked about a one day loaner and he replied they don't do that, even no they advertised it on their web page. I made an appointment to get the accessories put on at 9 am 6 hrs. and 30 mins later I drove home, I live a hour away. Not 1 time did anyone asked if I needed anything. I had to go and inquire about my truck, after the first 4 hrs. My sales person Soto, never came and check to see what was the status. I guess the customer service they brag about is when you are buying it and after that nothing. The sales person told me when I left there after buying it, I will help you. I watch people come and go buying and selling faster than it was to put on the equipment. I have bought many trucks through the years new ones and used but never again I will buy from Demontrond. Unfortunately, every visit here is consistently disappointing. I had an 11:00 a.m. appointment today for an express oil change and arrived at 10:45. After waiting 10 minutes just for someone to acknowledge me, I was told to wait again. Eventually, "Donna" came out to check me in--but that was just the beginning of the delay. After waiting 1.5 hours with no updates, I asked the cashier if she could check on my vehicle. She said she'd send a text. Another 30 minutes passed (now 2 hours in), and still no word. When I followed up again, I was told Donna had already left for the day. Someone else checked the system and said my car showed "complete"--but then "Taylor" went to investigate and found that they were rotating my tires, something I never requested. In fact, I had my tires rotated here just a month ago. This level of miscommunication and lack of accountability is frustrating. My husband now drives all the way to Tomball to avoid dealing with this location--and after giving them the benefit of the doubt too many times, I'm done. Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. They did a bait and switch the only way we realized what was going on is when they redo the paperwork the second time and that's when the year was exposed to closer/finance after the second time we met with the finance man, the car broke down two days later and was down for a month and a half the finance company determined it was a lemon and they understand the bait and switch. be careful with these people they don't do what they say and they're extremely unethical. read more

Service is a bit . . . suspect. Upon arriving in the new building we were greeted at the door but when he realized we were not purchasing a car we were abandoned. I looked at the wall of service folks and none looked my way. I went to the center desk where I assumed the receptionist was located and pretty much had to interrupt them to get their attention stating I was showing up for an appointment. They pointed at the folks on either side of them and said they were the people that will help. I stepped back, waited for a moment then announced in a pretty loud voice "I am here for service, who can help me?". The service guy closest to me invited me to sit. He was then polite and helpful apologizing for the pile of work on his desk. I don't fault the overworked service schedulers. I fault the management that can't see their broken system. I was searching Houston Jeep dealerships for a 2025 Gladiator Rubicon. Found the one I liked on the website at DeMontrond in Conroe. Called and asked for a drive-out-the-door price based on the MSRP posted on their website less the cashback incentives for the model year end sale. When I got the price quote, there was a $2995 charge for a "DeMontrond Package" that was nowhere on their website !! I was like, what the hell is this....well that is a way of "pulling the wool" of a potential customer's eyes. They would not offer the stated discounts on their website and wanted me to purchase this "DeMontrond Package" so I took my business elsewhere. Their website advertised a $9042 "DeMontrond Discount" and then added in this $2995 "DeMontrond Package" hoping to recoup some of that "inflated discount" in the final purchase price. Very unethical in my opinion. There's an old saying about the only thing you really have in life is your good name, so protect it. Before I get into this review, just know that I gave DeMontrond Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram an opportunity to make things right. Sept 21 before leaving out of town on a work trip I took my truck in for an oil change and asked for the multi point inspection. I knew my wife would be using my truck while I was away so I wanted to be sure everything checked out. Prior to paying I asked the service advisor (Anthony) if the multi point inspection checked out ok and he replied with "yes, no issues". By mid week my wife calls and explains that she is hearing a grinding noise in the truck when coming to a stop. Obviously, at this point I'm furious. Now, this is a safety issue concerning my family. When I arrive home I drive back to the dealership and give them the opportunity to "make it right". I did not cause a ruckus and I did not yell at anyone. I politely asked the service manager (Jacob) if there was a place we could chat in private, he said yes and took me into his office where I shared my concerns and frustration. He agreed with everything I said and asked if he could put my truck on a lift and verify the multi point inspection and also get me a "very good price" on a brake pad/rotors. After waiting about an hour or so Anthony (the service advisor) comes out and apologizes for, and I quote, (the guys out back F*#@ed me). Then he proceeds to give me what they believe is a "very good price" to replace the rear brake pads, 1 new rotor and 1 turned rotor at a very generous NINE-HUNDRED and FIFTEEN DOLLARS. In conclusion, I trusted the "professionals" to do their job and they failed. Allowed me to leave their facility as a potential safety hazard and put my life and family at risk. If you value these as I do then I suggest you reconsider taking your vehicle to DeMontrond Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. read more

I spoke to two managers at the originating pre-approved lender who confirmed: 1) My credit history would have allowed immediate approval of the vehicle I was trying to finance. The dealer simply never attempted despite those being my governing requests. 2) There was nothing evident on their system that would have made processing the application impossible. 3) They were equally confused. I spoke to the director of operations at their corporate office who was considerate and hardworking. He provided a great deal of attention and possible solutions. Ultimately, despite having a pre-approved application on file with the lender and a green light to buy a vehicle, I chose I couldn't trust those who worked below him to work in my best interests. read more

My son was looking at vehicle. He spoke with rep (Kevin) 2 days prior. Then on our way to look at vehicle, he called Kevin and let him know we were on our way (an hour and 15 minute drive) and asked if everything was still good to test drive and he said yes. By the time we got there, all of a sudden, Kevin was "on vacation". He was there but not able to help us. We were told the vehicle was sold. Complete waste of our time! Very unprofessional knowing we were specifically going for that certain vehicle and he didn't have the courtesy to tell us it was sold. Arrived and expressed my concern about multiple issues that they were supposed to have previously been address months ago when they had my car for at least a month. It took them three hours to get me a loaner car. Was told the service manager would come speak with me... He never did. Was shuffled around, blame was placed on enterprise for taking long with the car. I walked over to enterprise and they informed me that I had been sitting for two hours before the dealership had even contacted them for a loaner car.
