My car was sitting in the lot for 4 days before they got to it. I had a question regarding the price but she Lured me in to bring in the car in the shop and would refuse to give me price over the phone. After fixing the car now I am 100% sure They used the wrong parts or they didn't put the sensor back ,as I need to push the brakes and the clutch to start the car .while previously I only had to press the clutch which is Ford standard!!!! They ruined my car and now I have to take it to the dealership to get it fixed. There is no owner to contact to make a complaint. I have brought my truck here several times in the last few yrs and they have always treated me fair and with great service. The young lady up front I believe her name is "Cheyenne" is always very polite and informative and I have also dealt with a young mechanic "Dillon" several times, always polite and very knowledgeable. So to get to the point, there was nothing wrong with our vehicle after Dillon looked at it, they let me know what I could do at the house to address the issue and I left with a smile. The point here is they could have charged me to look at my vehicle and then for service and or parts, that we didn't need and so on. But they didn't! That's hard to find these days unfortunately...a fair, honest and client first type of business. Some of the work he did for me I had also gotten quoted at another shop and his out-the-door price was considerably lower than what I was quoted. That was my first time in. I just took my 2012 Kia soul which is extremely high mileage to him for some work. I had been having issues with my charging system and several places I went to (Auto Parts places) said my alternator was fine and my battery was fine. I described the issues I had to Jon and as I suspected he found the alternator was bad. It was not charging the battery properly and was not putting out the full voltage required. I had priced alternators for this car and a quality alternator was approximately $375 at an auto parts store if I did the labor. Jon charged me about $375 for a lifetime warranty alternator and less than $100 for the installation. He also had it ready a day earlier than promised. Once again freedom Automotive earned my five star review. I found out that Jon had also worked at a Kia dealership early in his career. He also did work for a friend of ours who was told that their Isuzu diesel delivery truck needed a new fuel pump for over $1,500. His diagnosis was that the second fuel filter was clogged and the fuel pump was fine. His work saved them close to $1,000. Before you go somewhere else and get a misdiagnosis I would call Freedom. By the way he is moving his his business to a larger location in Willis. Look for his new location. You will be glad you did.
