I dropped my vehicle off, to be serviced, and experienced the beginning of more of a racist experience than I ever have in Rhode Island or the US for that matter. If you are a minority, this place is not for you! After dropping off a Benz and asking how long it would take, the service manager became aggressive and threatened to not provide service. Meanwhile, I was joking with one of his subordinates. I wondered if they perform vehicle checks prior to allowing the car off of the lot bc I had issues such as opening the trunk and the undercarriage being damaged. The guy was upset bc I had the nerve to ask how long I would be in a loaner. He stated there was no way to give an estimate (poor custo0mer service) when he could have easily provided a range considering his "over 20 years" of experience. I explained to them that I work long hours and would not be available via phone due to the fact that I am an educator. I was first told that it would be available on Friday. They then called on Thursday to see if I could pick it up... Strange... I then received a threatening voicemail and text message stating that they would report the car stolen and get police involved if I did not respond. Mind you, I am in meetings with parents as I am receiving these messages. Meanwhile, I was having a S560 serviced, which I loved, and they gave me an Alfa Romeo that I have to crawl in and out of. I asked if they would provide one of equal value and the response was "a full size sedan!" Noted smh. No problem, I was more concerned with getting to work while they serviced a car that should not have had to be return wthin the same month I purchased the vehicle. I wonder if they threaten other clients with the presence of the POLICE or if it was just me because I am BLACK! Again, a harsh reminder that even being a Doctor of Education does not prevent one from dealing with biases and racism from those who represent what is supposed to be an elite company in AMERICA...!!!

I only used the service center, I have not experienced the sales side of the business. They are the only dealership in Rhode Island that has received DealerRater.com's Dealer of the Year Award three years consecutively from 2016 to 2018. There is nothing good about having your car damaged in an accident. The only good thing was, I didn't have to think about where to bring the car. I already knew, because of what happened to my son. He'd been in his own accident, a year before mine, and I was in New York City when it happened, too far away to do anything but worry. Richard Porcelli did what I couldn't. He sent a tow truck. He took my son under his wing the way a parent would, calmed him down, sat with him through one of the worst days of his life. I wasn't there for that. Richard was. I don't forget things like that, and I wasn't about to take my own car anywhere else. Porcelli's has been on Providence Street in West Warwick for more than forty years, and there's a difference between a business that's been doing something a long time and one that's just been open a long time. Those aren't the same thing. You can feel which one you're standing in. My insurance adjuster, a man I'd never met before this, told me flat out that his company likes working with Porcelli's. Honest, he said. Good work. Integrity. That's not a word insurance adjusters throw around freely about anyone. I ended up not at fault, so no deductible, and Porcelli's set me up with a rental. Given how the insurance company usually handles that part, I was bracing for whatever the cheapest available option was. Instead I drove off in a 2024 Jeep Compass. I was pleasantly surprised, though knowing Porcelli's by then, I probably shouldn't have been. The adjuster told me not to expect the car back before August 28th. I got the call today, August 6th, that it's done. It still needs an inspection, and instead of telling me to bring it back separately for that, they told me they'd put it up right away so it would already be finished by the time I came to get it. Nobody asked for that. It just happened, the same way it happened for my son, which is really the whole point. Porcelli's doesn't perform well once. It performs the same way every time. It's not an exaggeration to say that Porcelli's will treat you like family. If you ever find yourself needing them, and I hope you don't, you'll understand exactly why I told you to come here.

From my initial emails with their AI to phone calls and text messages with the sales rep, I had already taken care of 85% of the arrangements before I went there. From price discussions and trade-in evaluation to credit application and approval, everything was done before I went over. When I arrived at the dealership, the car was out on the lot, ready for me. Before I even started signing papers and talking to the Finance Manager, their BMW Tech Genius sat in the car with me first, giving me an overview of the car's tech features. They even increased the accepted trade-in value for my Jag vs. what they originally quoted me. In all, they assumed I would leave with their car. They provided me with all the information I needed re: registration, payment, etc. and answered all my questions before I left. It is, without…read moreexaggeration, one of the worst purchasing decisions I have made -- and not because of minor dissatisfaction, but because of a fundamental issue that was never properly disclosed. This car is equipped with the M Sport package and a fixed, performance-tuned suspension with no adaptive dampening. That means you are locked into a rigid, track-style ride 100% of the time. There is no option to soften it, no ability to adjust it, and no relief from it. This is not a small detail--it is the defining characteristic of how the car drives. And yet, it was never meaningfully explained during the sales process. Now I'm stuck with this horrible mistake for the next five years of my life. This vehicle is, for all practical purposes, intolerable on real-world roads--especially in New England. I am not talking about potholes or major defects. I am talking about normal, everyday road imperfections. Every minor inconsistency in the pavement slam directly through the frame of this car with sharp, jarring force. The ride is harsh, unforgiving, and completely out of step with what anyone would reasonably expect from a daily driver at this price point. The factory run-flat tires made it even worse. Within three days of ownership, I spent an additional $1,200 replacing them just to make the car usable mindful I don't have a spare. Even after that expense, the problem remains. The suspension itself is the issue, and there is no fixing it. I'm having difficulty finding the language to express just how upset I am. What makes this unacceptable is how avoidable it was. The test drive was conducted on a route that conveniently avoided the kinds of road conditions that would have immediately exposed this problem. At no point was I told, clearly and directly, that I was buying a car with a permanently aggressive suspension and no adaptive capability. Did they lie outright? No. But failing to disclose something this central to the driving experience -- while steering the test drive in a way that masks it -- is, at best, a serious omission. At worst, it reflects a sales process that prioritizes closing the deal over ensuring the buyer understands what they are purchasing. The experience after the sale only reinforced that impression. I received repeated, unsolicited sales messages encouraging me to come back and look at other vehicles -- after I had already purchased one. Multiple requests to stop were ignored. I ultimately had to block their number. At this point, I refuse to deal with them and now go out of my way to service the car at BMW of Warwick instead. To be direct: this is not buyer's remorse over preferences or minor features. This is the result of not being told something essential. A fixed M Sport suspension without adaptive dampening fundamentally changes what this car is. That is information any reasonable buyer would want before committing to a long - term purchase. Instead, I am left with a car that is absurd to drive and a purchase I regret on a daily basis. If you are considering buying from this dealership, do not rely on what is or is not mentioned. After going to countless dealerships and doing tons of research online, I found that on the surface B&B was worth checking out. They had a car I was really interested in so I was happy to hear it was still for sale. When I got there Craig welcomed me and told me to take my time on the test drive. The location is ideal for a test drive..nice quiet residential 2 lane roads with no chaos is what I like. Took it for a spin and instantly fell in love, which doesn't come easy for me. I knew right away this car felt right and would look killer in my garage. Went in and sat with him in a laid back comfortable office to discuss the car. He didn't sit there all cheesy with a generic list of features on the car, they let the car sell themselves which totally works. He was so patient and answered every single question I had in terms I could understand which some salesmen make things confusing. I didn't feel pressured, rushed or forced whatsoever. I wanted the car and bought it on the spot. I traded in my pride and joy (which wasn't easy for me might I add) I NEVER would have done that if I didn't think I'd love my new car just as much. 2 days later I went back to pick it up and they had her looking clean and pretty. I met Paul who couldn't be any cooler of a dude. He showed me how to use all my functions and put my plates on for me. Finally I sat down with mama Craig and signed the rest of the paperwork which she put together beautifully for me. B&B is the real deal, I can't compare to anywhere else in RI to buy a car. A pleasurable experience from start to finish. I am so ecstatic over my new ride I can't wipe the smile off my face. I would buy from here again in a heartbeat. For example, she broke down twice at severe costs for repairs, in NYC, on route to school in PA. Bottomline I would steer clear of this business as the the cars are not what they appear.
