Huge modern play area, sand room, laser tag and arcade room including claw machines. The admission price is a bit pricey compared to others, open play costs $42.99 + tax for kids 3 feet and taller and 1 adult. Additional adults cost $18.99 each. It does include unlimited time as others are usually 2 hours max and it includes laser tag. Place is very large, has drinks and a small gift shop (toys, gifts etc). Place is modern and clean for now... until the next new indoor playground ground opens up.

The decor was amazing! It matched what we saw in their website and Instagram. It also came with pizza and juice for the kids and unlimited play. I was allowed to bring additional food and other snacks and they were kind enough to help me set up and plate the food. One tip would be to confirm the arrival of the pizza time. Our was suppose to arrive at 1230 (party started at 12) and it didn't arrive until 130 because of the rain. The pizza is ordered from a pizza shop so it had to be delivered. They were super nice and apologetic about it. The play area is huge and something for everyone. Although it might be hard to track your kid. It also felt cleaner than other indoor playgrounds that we've been too. We would definitely be back!

It was $46 pre tax for one adult and one child. It was alright for me though since it was my first time experiencing Gaming City. To my surprise the price was pretty worth it for all the arcade and games they have. There were games like table hockey, shooting hoops, hockey, VR simulation and interaction, racing games with a simulated motorcycle and race car. I did not expect it to have so many different types of games with DDR and a dancing grid. It just sucked that you cannot finish everything in one hour. We were given a watch to time the whole stay that we paid for. They shined red when the time was up. After the arcade play, we were given each 3 tokens for the claw machines. There were big machines that required 2 tokens and the small one only needed 1 token. The claw machines were so difficult to play. The claws were really sensitive and moved a lot. My friends and I did not even win anything. Sucks. The whole gaming city was really clean and dark. It smelled really clean and the noise level was appropriate. There were bathrooms in the middle of the whole place that were really clean. This place is a must go place for anyone who loves arcade and VR. They have it here in one location, which is right off the train station.

(See my photos for exact price lists/options). We purchases a pkg for 3 ppl for 1 Hr, so it came out to $23.33 per person. (Individual price would have been $32pp). You're given a bracelet to wear. Once your time slot is up, your bracelet will turn red, letting you know your time has expired. This arcade is different from other arcades since it's unlimited play for the specific time period you purchase. The only exception are the multiple Claw Machines at the front of the store: these machines require tokens. Note that at the end of your time slot, each person will receive 3 free tokens to use on these Claw Machines; but there are very slim chances of actually winning something. Also, the Claw Machines require 2 tokens! My niece had 9 tokens and won Nothing!! All-in-all, they had some fun games. There are even 2 VR games. But be warned: if you get motion sickness easily, do NOT do the VR games! lol I was really disappointed that they didn't have Skee-Ball games, which is my fave arcade game. But we had fun exploring all their other games. Customer service (except for the below issue) was terrific. All personnel were very friendly and helpful. They really looked out for everyone on the game floor, ready to help if you didn't understand the games/instructions. There are lockers, restrooms and beverage vending machines. Everything was super clean. Note that the VR machines are sanitized in between players, which I really appreciated. So why 4 Stars and not 5 Stars? Because we had to sign waivers ahead of time, and we were told to show up 15 min BEFORE our time slot, to make sure we check-in Before our time slot starts. Sounds fair, right? Well, we showed up 15 min early, as instructed, only to find out that they are closed! Our time slot was 2pm, and they actually opened at 2pm....so why tell us to show up at 1:45pm on a hot humid day, and make us stand out in the sun for 15 sweaty minutes?!?! Grrrrr....so incredibly annoying!! So just a heads up: if you're going to their first time-slot of the day, do NOT show up 15 min early!!

On a…read moreSaturday evening in May, the building was pretty quiet save for a flutter of activity for the open studios and artist showings in this building. The theater is on the 3rd floor if I recall and there's an elevator available. Upon entering the door, signs lead to a small foyer area with a merch/flyer/marketing table, then on the left it opens up to a lounge/lobby with concession stand. There were a handful of tables and about a dozen seats. A schedule of activities was listed at the foyer area and in the lounge was a booklet with total exhibits available for the Arts Open at a number of different buildings in the immediate LIC neighborhood. Because I arrived late, it wasn't immediately apparent where to enter, and there weren't any staff immediately discernible outside the attendant at the concessions stand who didn't seem to interact with anyone outside those purchasing drinks or snacks. Thankfully one of the other attendees of the event pointed me towards the closed door on the right, when he saw me looking confused. Inside I realized this was a black box theater*, seating was in the form of stackable chairs placed on wooden risers. I climbed around the side and found a seat and enjoyed the rest of the short films. The configuration was sufficient for about 70 seats. Afterwards as our part was exiting, there were a couple friendly staff or volunteers thanking people for attending. On the same floor the theatre space was encircled by other class rooms and studios, and I wasn't sure if those were part of the same organization or just sharing the space. All in all, I'm glad to have had the chance to visit, and glad that small theaters like this exist, to nurture growing talent interested in performance and visual arts. *meaning simple, adaptable and intimate performance space, usually a rectangular or square room with black walls, where seating and sets can be reconfigured to the needs of a creative vision. Generally fitting less than 100-200 people.

By what I researched , it was created to give opportunities for artists ,which is great and also for the ones who are already in the industry to show and expanding their talent . From time to time this place comes with this wonderful Shortplay Festival . It is so exciting and so promising for the actors, directors and writers .However the competition ,turns in disappointment to see excellent work of the participants overlooked. The voting system is led from family members and friends. This current method is unfair to talented actors, writers ,and directors who give their best, but unfortunately the results depend on personal connections instead of artistic merit. A system led by qualified judges would make the festival stronger, fairer, and more true to its mission of supporting learning and creativity. Please reconsider it , to be an excellent place with fair judgments for all artists . If it continues like this ,I don't see the point of artist go through it.Thank you.

I signed up right away to the drive-in site for future events notification. We are familiar in the area so getting to the drive-in is not a hassle at all. The movie theater location is in the New York Hall of Science parking lot and the screen is fronting a good view of Terrace on the Park. To have one right in our borough, in our very crowded city, is such a treat. And it was all free. The second time we went we even got free treats left on our windshield. The staff was amazing. They led us through the maze of metal barricades and cones to the viewing area, made sure we were parked appropriately on the lawn, good enough to view the screen perfectly straight on, and helped us to turn all of our lights off. When we weren't able to tune them all off while still listening to the movie audio on our radio, they came around and lent us a portable radio. That way we could turn the car completely off and listen to the movie audio from their borrowed radio. There was also a food stand, but we had dinner beforehand and brought our own snacks, so we didn't order from them. All in all, a pretty awesome experience for the whole family. Thanks to all the staff and organizations that made it possible!
