I regret buying my 2026 Kia Sportage from Dennis Dillon Kia. It's been a month, and I still don't have the second key that was promised at the time of purchase. They "couldn't find it" and said they'd order one and call me in a week. That call never came. I've contacted them 5-6 times now. Every time I get the same line: "We'll talk to the manager and someone will call you." No one ever does. Today I called parts and service myself and got bounced back to sales like it was a game of hot potato. At the time of sale, I was not fully informed that the vehicle included aftermarket equipment, including a GPS system and brake-related modifications, that were not compatible with the vehicle's proper function. After taking possession of the vehicle, I discovered that these aftermarket additions resulted in a loss of expected functionality, which was not clearly disclosed during the sales process. I felt pressured during the transaction to accept these add-ons as part of the deal. Since then, I have made multiple attempts to resolve the issue with the dealership. I spoke directly with sales manager Ramon and finance Ben Saint and left several messages that went unreturned from the general manager during my attempts to resolve the situation. I was told I would be reimbursed for the one aftermarket equipment GPS, but despite those assurances, no payment has been issued. My follow-up calls and requests for updates have not been returned or resolved. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend that buyers carefully review all add-ons, disclosures, and financing details before agreeing to any purchase, and be aware of your rights under applicable consumer protection laws. At this point, I am still waiting on the promised resolution and have not received the reimbursement that was communicated to me. This was considered "installed" they have the product and have yet to reimburse me after Ben offering reimbursement has unfortunately said he will no longer be able to speak to me on this matter and didn't give me any further information on who to contact going forward! If I could leave zero stars, I would dealing with the finance of this car was actually insane. They weren't very straightforward and felt like they were hiding certain information. If you did not ask the right questions they were not upfront about giving you information. We have had our car for about two months now and we have yet to get our license plates. I called the DMV and the dealership didn't even give them enough money to send our plates or tags. I bought a vehicle a little over a month ago and moved states. It was a used vehicle and I also purchased a warranty that covers the transmission and engine as well. I was able to drive this vehicle for 2 weeks. 2 WEEKS. Before noticing issues that the dealership had blatantly ignored (small owned shop said these were several issues there's no way they had missed at the dealership as it's part of the inspection when a vehicle is traded in) and now I'm $3k deep into repairs that the dealership chose not to do when the car was traded in by the previous owner. My nephew needed a car so he went to dillon kia, they sold him a k4, he came by and I asked him how much? 29.5, I look at his sticker, it said 23K, I said why 29.5? there are no upgrades, he said no, not even any car mats... I was like??? So I asked him how much is payment were, he said 749.00 per month for 72 months.. I said that is 54K he said he also had to give 1K in cash.. He gave me his contract.. I looked down and saw a extended service contract for 4500.. I asked him, he said he did not know anything about it.. They asked you if you wanted it, it is optional right?? no, he said they told him he had to have it.. So I asked him what the interest rate is, 20%, I said no, they are charging you 24%. He said no way, they said 20%.. I said that is even high, he has a bank credit card visa, no bad credit.. 20% is high.. So he is paying 55K for 23K dollar car, they took advantage of a 19 year old first time buyer.. Nice dealership hu.. Makes me sick people are in business like dillon dealerships.. Dishonest! took our Kia Sorento in for them to look at a few electric issues (alarm issue, phone button on the steering wheel, and the button ( automatic open/close button)for the tailgate). after finding out it would be $199. 00 for each diagnostic we decided to have them only look at the tailgate. 5 hours later David gives a call with an estimate of $2800.00 with a list of what needs to be replaced. we declined the repair and brought our car home. Husband gets out the manual to read. Turns out a button had been pushed turning off the tailgate door . NOTHING wrong with the door/ button. Works great! Called back ( same day mid afternoon.). No return phone call from them. Called and texted three times that day. Husband calls back the following day. Husband spoke to David questioning the assessment of the work performed by the mechanic . David says he will check with the service manager. Was the car even looked at by a mechanic? Did anyone look at it or were they just gonna charge us and do no work? Nothing was broken. The two stars are mostly because Dennis Dillon Kia was able to deliver us our long-awaited 2021 Telluride back in September. Everything else was mediocre and customer service continues to decline with every interaction since then. To begin, information about financing was incorrect, follow-up was non-existent and it took me several attempts to finally get in touch with someone regarding the warranty we paid for and what services we were entitled to. I noticed several reviews pointed out that once they have your money, the tune changes and their interaction with the customer diminishes and I have to completely agree. I don't regret the purchase that we made, simply disappointed with everything about this dealership after our purchase. Terrible dealership. I bought a 2022 Audi Q5 for $30,000. As I was driving it home I noticed a vibration in the front when turning. I brought it back the next day and they brought me right over to the service department to book an appointment for a week later. They said they couldn't find anything wrong, that it was normal and the car would "learn me" and adjust. The vibration continued to get worse so I brought it to the Audi dealer. He knew exactly what I was talking about and wrote down the steps to fix it. I brought it back to DD Kia and they said they couldn't do that at their facility. I said then let Audi do it. The service manage, Chris said he would have to speak with sales and get them to pay for it. Then he ignored my call and wouldn't see me when I stopped in. He sent a message out that he spoke to sales and was waiting for their answer. "It would be a few more days" which didn't make sense to me so I went over to the showroom and asked to speak to the GM, Cam. I was told he was busy (no-one even checked) and that I could talk to this guy who is Assistant GM. Assistant GM told me that Chris never asked to fund the repair and that they would not anyway. "Sales isn't paying for this"! He said. I told him I didn't care about their internal finances I just wanted the car fixed. And I mentioned the 3 month 3000 mile warranty and he said that only covers the Drive train. Well stupid the center differential is part of the drive train. I went to Dennis Dillon Kia today for a scheduled oil change and new windshield wipers. I appreciated how easy it was to schedule online. I was in and out in less than an hour. I received excellent service starting with Service Advisor Harry Rood. The waiting room was very clean and comfortable. Drinks and a vending machine were available. I received a link to a video inspection, performed by certified technician Damien, which was very helpful. When I got my car back, it was cleaner than I left it. This experience exceeded my expectations. I will be returning to Dennis Dillon Kia for future vehicle maintenance, as needed. read more

A clown show. They had no vehicles. So we decided to order one and wait. They had us fill out a form with all our info, and select options for the build. Then they said go home and we will send you everything to sign online, and you can pay the deposit online. So we went home. No paperwork came. The next day no paperwork. Day 3 and 4. No paperwork. Day 5 we call and ask if they sell cars. Oh ya we're all over it, will get you that paperwork. Nothing. Day 6. Call again, if no paperwork we will have to go somewhere that actually sells cars. Finally the paperwork comes with $2500 of additional dealer markup. Something we wouldn't pay even if the car was on the lot, but certainly not for one we have to wait 6 months for and order directly from the factory. We ask what do we get for these extra charges, what are we buying. "Oh that's your deposit" they lie. No a deposit would reduce the price not increase it. "Ohhhhhhhhhhhh your right, looks like that's an additional dealer markup. I'm gonna go get that removed for you" Never heard from anyone again. Typical scumbag car dealer. Sales Guy was great, very informative and really had many good things to say about this dealership, 2 stars are for him. But once we sat down to negotiate it went south very quick, as soon as they involved another individual. I am more than qualified and I am knowladgeable about what i am purchasing and selling in this market. My trade in was way under valued, and I get it, since the market for these vehicles is not very good at the moment. They had the nerve to charge me for a tank of gas and a oil change on the trade in quote amongst many other ridiculous fees like $85 for new windsheild wipers LOL. Then they wanted $750 for 72 months for a used 31k truck. which is 54K for a 31k truck over the lifetime of the loan as I was fully aware my credit score is over 800. I countered the ridiculous offer to something i would say was more benificial to the dealer than myself but they shook my hand and told me they were not willing to work with me. No negotiation or anything. I have seen this truck on the lot for a while now which is why i stopped and would have purchased. They racked up thousands extra for hidden profit and refuse to deal on price. When I called them out for a terrible deal the manager pushed back from the table and stormed off, crumpling up their offer in a childish tantrum. I haven't seen this much arrogance and poor customer service anywhere before. Two days later I went to Kendall Kia in Nampa and closed a deal on a Kia from them. my 2014 Kia Sorento ceased on I84. I was across from the Kendal Kia,( let me sit for 7 hour as I had made an appointment and was waiting for recall for to be done) but because they treated me poorly I decided to go to the next major repair shop. So I went to Heritage Auto they very quickly diagnosed that the engine was ceased and was under warranty. So because it was Easter weekend, I had the car towed on Monday to Dennis Dillon Kia. they told me they could get it in at 2:30 on Monday so at 11:30 my car was dropped off to DD and I was expecting to hear from them, by the end of day. even though I texted my drivers license and let Danielle know the registration was in the glove box. she waited until Thursday when I dropped by to pick up things out of the car to acctualy get the copy of the registration, nothing was done. then I was told id have to pay for the second diagnostic. I said ok! I need my car. I figured since they said dignostic would happen on Monday...I was upset that they had no information for me! Danelle had told me it would then take them longer, still no time line! so she clamed because my car was a Kia they do not provide loaner cars! this was upsetting, because back home my dealership always made sure I was not stranded! I asked because my girlfriend here in Idaho and someone from my class both had engines replaced and were given Mazdas to drive from your dealership! So I continued to ask! I'm as much a customer as any Mazda owner! I waited until May 6 by this time I had spoken to Kia Corporate! they told me to request the loaner car. because Dennis Dillon still could not commit to a time line. finally they were able to get to work on my car. also the tracking service only ever said I was in the welcome mode all the way through this process. when I called the dealership to see if I could talk with the GM the gal on the phone said I could tell her my message, I said no how about you give me a me her/or his voicemail. This car rental is about the equivalent of three car payments! so you can have some idea of the impact. While Im grateful for the engine being covered, I was charged 2986.41 for the refresh kit, and the catalytic converter... if the converter caused the engine to go bad..why is that not covered? Went to put the spare on and there was no spare or Jack. Dennis Dillon claims that used cars do not have to come with spare tires and they won't give me one. And they would never return a phone call. 7 phone calls and not 1 returned. So I have to spend 400 and some dollars on the spare tire kit that came with the car when it was new. I purchased a car in the winter and I get I should have checked it first but they sold me a car that had no ac when I begin to run it this spring. They also over sell there car by the thousands to where your not able to trade it in and your automatically upside down. I would recommend taking any car you purchase to a reliable mechanic. I was also told that my car didn't need a extended warranty. They convinced me the car was very reliable. Doing regular oil changes no the motor is knocking. At 3 1/2 months we called again and were told by the salesperson that the general manager told them the night before that no more cars for that year would be built and that we should have gotten a call from the general manager (we didn't).
