Thinking of moving to Simi so we were out & about looking at neighborhoods when we came across one of Dennis's signs.  We called to inquire about the property (which had just sold) and he was so helpful that we ended up engaging him to sell our house in the San Fernando Valley for us.  Dennis helped us get the house ready for sale, set appointments for showings and we had multiple offers within a week.  He then helped us choose the best offer and was with us every step of the way until we closed. After he sold our house he went to work helping us find a new place.  We ended up finding a great house in a great area.  Unfortunately, the seller's agent was terrible and was extremely difficult to work with.  In spite of all that, Dennis negotiated a great price for us, was able to get concessions for us (unheard of in this market) and was able to close on time. Worse experience in renting ever. The house was poorly managed by so called property manager Dennis Goobert @ Associate Broker / Remax Olson & Associates 805 520 9000 www.DennisGRealtor.com Through the 10 months that I lived at this residence the property fell apart. (2672 Fallen Leaf Ct. Simi Valley, CA) Sink and toilet broke, made multiple attempts to contact the realtor who was the property manager. He sent out his handyman name Jose who came in and was straight up unprepared and really had no clue on what he was doing. After realizing he was decided he didn't have the proper tools to fix the sink and toilet so he decided he need to come back. I asked him if he could paint a few spots on the wall that needed touchup. Well the idiot used gloss paint when the walls were matte. He was supposed to return with the correct pieces for the sink and never did. The landscapers were supposed to come twice a month however they only showed every 6-7 weeks. I wanted out of the lease because of the piss poor management and it finally took 2 months to get out and when I got out the property manager and the owner of the house PAUL STYLES out of Michigan began to nickel and dime me on the fact that he claimed that the handyman Jose was not his handyman and that he didn't instruct him to do anything. However Dennis said to contact Jose at the start of our lease for any issues we have. Plus he said that wasn't the true property manager and he was just doing this as a courtesy to the owner Paul. Not only did I have to pay for paint service, but he said that he would help me out with the relisting fee and waited over the legal allowed 21 days to get my check just to find out that it wasn't the correct amount and that I was charged the relisting fee (which PAUL STYLES clearly benefits) plus the check was missing the prorated days that I was owed. This whole refund process took 1 month! STAY AWAY. Beware! They are probably going to say some BS that we went by the book and it was in the contract, but that's non-sense. Pure unprofessionalism at its finest. Do not recommend. read more

In response to your rebuttal, we received a series of hostile emails from you (yes, I do have proof) that occurred after not hearing from you for several weeks. We did not follow back up with you after our initial meeting (which we did not reschedule by the way) because we told you we would be unavailable for the next 2 weeks immediately following our initial meeting at which time, we asked for you to follow up with us. Which you did not do until 3 weeks after our meeting. As for you taking the time to select in person homes for us to peruse, it a computer generated program that you enter filters on. I do not see how this could possibly take any of your time. All of our pre-qualification work was completed prior to us ever meeting with you in person. (which we presented to you in person for which I have dated documents as to when I received them which is previous to any meeting with you) In addition to you being a horrible person, I would like to add that you also seem to like to twist the facts to your liking. I do not know why you decided to attack us in the manner you did, but I can honestly say we made the correct decision in ultimately choosing another agent.
