There is nothing "Discount" about this place. Six packs are $15.00 and they don't show the prices on the shelves. The store is super crowded. They do have a good selection. I've found that Walgreen's liquors just down the road, oceanside, has the best prices in the upper keys. read more

I stopped here to buy liquor and the selection was really amazing, the employees were nice enough, I'm not a local so I don't need to bond with these people and they don't need to do anything other than take my money and bag my purchase. I found this store to be entertaining, it's like going to a museum with liquor bottles on display alongside pirates and mermaids - I couldn't tell if this was a marketing campaign or they're just showing off their personal collection. There's a lot of inventory here, it can be a little overwhelming so I just walked the aisles until I found what wanted, I don't expect a liquor store clerk to be a wine or cigar aficionado geez I have a smart phone if I have a question about the finish of my Pinot Noir or the country of origin of the rolled leaf tobacco. It was convenient, the pricing is hiked up as you'd expect, but I totally forgot to restock my liquor cabinet before I drove down to the Keys so I had to pay up which was much better than abstaining because the prices are higher than the liquor store down the street from my home and it appears most of the customers are repeat customers and locals so I feel fortunate I don't have to pay these prices everyday. I assume this is because I am from New Hampshire and they don't see a lot of NH IDs. The woman at the counter insisted I looked young (I'm 21) and called her manager over to check my ID. He looked at it for less than a second before rudely telling me to have a nice day and refusing to sell me the single 24oz beer I wanted. I'm on vacation and just wanted to enjoy a beer in the sun. I have never left a review ever in my life but this interaction just ruined my day. I would not recommend coming here. read more

Although I only came into this store for one thing, they have a huge selection of liquors. Of the two staff members that were there, one of them was very nice. The other I'd asked if they had other flavors of the white claw drink and he told me "I don't know, check up front". So then I asked whether or not did they carry other options outside of the black cherry and mango. He then replied, "no only in the box". So if you know you don't carry more than those two options then why tell me to check the front. He then tells me to "just buy a box". Do not shop in this store. I have worked in the wine industry for many years. I purchased two bottles of wine and both were bad. They clearly had been stored at an excessive temperature. I went back in and asked to swap the wine and they refused to do so. Purchase at your own risk if you do shop here. read more

They post online sale prices & then charge you more when you go in store to purchase. My son went to pickup liquor for me & when he got home prices were higher. I looked this morning & sale prices were same online. I took receipt in & asked for refund. She was nasty & said those prices are only for online purchase only & refused to credit me. I told her I would be here for 2 more months & she still said no. When I got home they had already changed their website to read ONLINE SALE ONLY !!! THIEVES ! Drinking in the Keys can get expensive and most people who visit, plan to do a lot of it. So, the do it yourself, or BYOB option is a good one. Denny's is on the bayside, right before US1 splits in central Key Largo. That makes it a convenient location, and they have a decent selection. read more

Amazing store with the biggest selection of unique products I've ever seen. I found such unique liquors, wines, and champagnes that I frequently go back to purchase them for birthday gifts. Went in to buy a cigar to appreciate the sunset. Purchase one cigar. Ask them to cut it for me. They said no you had to buy a cutter. I said never mind and bit the tip. I asked for matches to light for me they said no you had to buy them. If I didn't bite the tip I would have returned the cigar. Fat zero for service. read more
