Placed an order for a drink at 8:14am. The app said it would be ready by 8:20am. At 9:20am it still wasn't ready, with each minute that passed it added a minute to the wait time. Ate at Hubbard Ohio on 5-6-2023. Got a 'to go' order and forgot it on my table when I left. Went back to get it less than 5 minutes later. They already threw it away. I asked for another one. They said the cook was on break for another 15 minutes, and there would be 12 orders ahead of me. Was not offered/given a refund. The lady was pretty firm/borderline rude. So I haven't been to Dennys in at least 4 years. My husband and I decided to take our 2 year old on a dinner date with us. Anyhoo they were a tiny bit busy but Thankfully our waitress Gia, happened to be the Assistant Manager . It by far was thee BEST Service we have ever had!! She went Way Above and Beyond!! And she Really made a point to connect with our lil princess! It's not every day that you see a mgr working along side of their employees!! Terrific food as well! This is, by far, the worst Denny's I have ever been in. It did not have a clean look to it, but that did not stop us because we have always enjoyed Denny's. My wife ordered a veggie omelet which had veggies that looked like they should have been thrown away a few days earlier. My meal was so salty, after two bites, I couldn't eat any more. I complained to the server, who took my meal back to the kitchen. She returned and tried to justify the situation by saying they didn't use that much salt on that particular meal. I guess she was calling me a liar. They didn't offer to replace my meal , and charged us full price for both meals. I complained to the manager, who apparently didn't know how to reverse a charge on his register, since I had already paid, so he offered me a 20% discount on my next visit. I told him we were visiting from Tennessee, so he apologized for the inconvenience. We left hungry, went across the street and ate a pretty good meal at Waffle House. read more

Horrible service, had to get our own silverware, coffee was cold, never offered a refill, waited an hour to find out she forgot to put order in, so we left and if i could give no stars i would. Terrible. Food was cold. Not warm, COLD. Sausage tasted bad. Rubbery bacon. They're out of ham and Coke. Sweet tea comes unsweet and you add sugar. That isn't sweet tea. French toas was rubbery. Pancakes weren't fully cooked; batter in the middle. Chocolate milk tastes like water with chocolate syrup. Hash browns felt like I was chewing on soft plastic. Our server wasn't awful...but she was seating guests, waiting tables, bussing and serving food. She was in the middle of taking our order and she walked away to take another table their food. We decided to give Dennys another shot after not eating here for years because of the same reasons listed above. Nope. We won't be back. Ever. read more

First let me say that this is a great location with great staff. Brysten was very attentive and an all around great person to be around. That being said it is a Denny's. i don't understand why people go to a place like Denny's and expect an experience like dining in a michelin star restaurant. The food was cooked to order. Service time was the worst I've ever experienced at any Denny's ever. Then again, it is attached to a gas station. I think I should of modified my expectations appropriately up front to counter my already low opinion of Denny's. After driving for about 6 hours, my friend and I were starving so we decided to stop here. I protested against Denny's because I don't like their food but my friend was adamant. She wanted to eat here. First, it took them about 15 minutes just to sit us. This isn't even an exaggeration. It was not crowded. Then we sat and it took forever for someone to come to us. We ordered our food and it took forever to come. We didn't even have utensils before our food came. So the food came, then we had to wait another five minutes for the utensils to come. Then we had to chase someone down to bring us our check. The check finally comes up and basically every one in the place went missing so we had to wait some more to pay . For food, nothing looked appetizing so I went with the cheese quesadilla because it was only $2. It tasted the way you would think a $2 quesadilla would taste. I think they used Kraft cheese slices for the meal. It was only edible if I smothered it in sour cream. I didn't expect much from a Denny's in a random city in Ohio, but I at least thought we would have decent service. read more

After ordering our meals, we sat for almost 45 minutes before the server apologized for being short staffed and said our food would be out shortly. Denny's is a compromise experience for me. My traveling companion wanted to go to Waffle House, but I dislike breakfast food, so we opted for Denny's at 4 a.m. where she ordered breakfast and I got myself some fries smothered in queso and cheese. It was pretty good, as all fries should be at 4:15 should be. My raspberry fountain tea was a little better than I was expecting. It was a typical Denny's. It was clean and rather devoid of people that early, so we didn't have to share our waitress and were out of there by 4:25 or so. Now I've read two reviews about slow service, but I experienced quick service early in the morning. read more

We ventured off to a new dennys location as we felt the folks at the dennys on Belmont, were getting to comfortable w us. Thus altering how we were served and the quality of food. Our seating was slow, very very slow. Once seated our wait for our server was slow. When we did get a server she was nice but a bit out of touch w things. Silver ware, napkins, my coffee, boxes for our food at the end. I got a lunch spicy skillet. It was the chicken chorizo combo and it was served sizzling hot. This dish was above expectations. The gave jenn the wrong type of egg w her skillet. They gave her a new one bit again service time was slow. It was good however. If they work on service time this could be a good location. read more

Was greeted immediately, and when I asked for a table near an electrical outlet for this iPad I am typing on, the waitress took me straight to a booth with an outlet at table top heighth! Learned from a previous negative experience at a different Denny's and ordered breakfast. It came quick and was just fine. I ate here because I was staying closeby and wanted something more than fast food. I didn't read the negative review about slow service ahead of time, but wished I had. The service was truly unbelievably slow. It was hard to tell why, except that most of the wait staff was MIA most of the time. I was just about to leave -- had counted out money to leave for my smoothie, tastey but gone long before any food arrived -- when my burger and fries finally showed up. I was amazed that they were excellent. Much better than I had expected, even before the slow service. So it's hard to know what to say about this place. If you're in a mood where you can deal with slow, then it may be worth stopping in. Otherwise, not. read more
