The service was so quick at the globe restaurant. I ordered an omelette with provolone because I had never had provolone, and it was phenomenal. People downplay it because it is a truckstop, but it is huge and has so much inside. You can order pretty much any food, drink, beer, whatever. The waitress was so patient because I'm indecisive. She was very kind and I would absolutely recommend it. The bill was not high at all either like most places. It tasted like a home-cooked meal. We ordered breakfast to go. It was waiting upon arrival. I paid and because I didn't leave a tip the girl behind the counter gave me a dirty look and said have a nice day. Mind you the food was still behind the counter. She made me reach over the counter to get it, which is fine, but as I was walking away, she was muttering something. Met friends here and it was on a Friday and all you can eat Fish. Portion size very good and sides excellent. I had potato skins, they were "meaty" not dried out. Toppings were plenty as well. We shared a piece of the Baklava Cheesecake and it was unanimous it was delicious and worth the trip alone for that! Our server was wonderful as well. Spoke today with a woman, I called to get some information on cross contact due to a severe, and deadly, shellfish allergy. She was short tempered with me, and told me that they don't even serve shellfish. I can read the menu, and the fried shrimp that is on it. This is negligence, and a lawsuit waiting to happen should someone happen to have a reaction. If you have any allergies, I wouldn't even risk it, considering the staff can't be bothered to know or check their own menu to not kill people. read more

As a truck driver this was my first stop here. The food was GREAT! Bartenders were super fun and friendly. I ordered the 16oz Prime rib that was super tender and tasty. I loved the cup of chili as well as the wings. I ordered wings with half honey BBQ and half dry rub . They came out with honey BBQ all over them but I liked the taste. They are huge in size... can you say steroids! But I liked them anyway. My biggest peave were the fruit flys around the bar. Not crazy but enough to be annoying. I love this place. It's totally comfort food for my family and their prices are not bad at all. It's nothing fancy just good Homestyle food. They have a decent selection of things in their menu and they also have a buffet bar. I usually order off the menu but my husband has some the buffet bar and enjoyed it. From breakfast to dinner we love it all! I have never had anything that I have not enjoyed. We especially love the potato skins! They are always cooked perfectly and they don't skimp on the toppings. My daughter recently had their portobello sandwich and fell in love with it! I like their sandwiches and I love their omelets! Excellent hash browns! Well let me start with if i could give no stars i would. They are getting this review because of there not so polite restaurant. I came in and sat down with my wife and waited and waited and well you get it waited. The wait staff kept looking at us and no one came over to help us. Another gentleman came in and sat down and was immediately taken care of drinks and his order. I got up and had to get my own menus and still proceeded to wait and wait. I guess i wasnt white enough to be served in this establishment. I have never felt so be littled in my life and this was so embarrassing and disrespectful to not only me but my wife. Food is always good and they have specials. The all you can eat fish fry Friday is delicious, someone said it used to be Walleye but it's Cod now. Great prices, good music, Keno and the bar is clean. My only complaint would be the young bartender Ashley. She is constantly yelling, swearing every other word, temper tantrum's, complaining and just generally annoying as hell.
