I haven't been to Denny's in YEARS, but it happened to be the only thing open when my husband and I decided that we were hungry. I was super excited when I looked at their menu to see that they had country fried chicken so we decided we'd give it a go. Upon arrival it was just like I remembered it, a little dirty with that old town feel. There wasn't a hostess present but it didn't take her long to come over and get us seated. The kids had the fruit smoothies which were great. My husband got the traditional lumberjack slam with the caramel banana crème pancakes (those pancakes were to die for) they tasted like banana pudding. They weren't overly sweet but also didn't need any syrup. I ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and the zucchini/squash mixture. I was highly disappointed with my meal. The cook sent out the "country fried chicken", which was nothing but two fried chicken sandwich patties, without any gravy and put a side of watered down gravy on the side. The vegetables were less than desirable and burnt. They ended up bringing me out another side of gravy that was a little thicker but that didn't make it any better. The two stars are solely for the pancakes and the fact that the chicken Pattie's were at least seasoned.

Great diner with great food. Love the oldies always playing. Good prices, great breakfasts. In November I had their Thanksgiving feast which was really good, wasn't able to cook for the holiday and this was a real treat. Very pleasant staff. Also, they have one of the best cheeseburgers in town. I do enjoy the wonderful breakfasts from the $4-6-8 menu. Usually eat here about once a week so this review covers more than one visit. Overall a great family restaurant. Updating my review. Took this review to a 3. No longer have the oldies playing so not so much fun for us. Service has become very slow with waitresses that seem to be overworked. Unfortunately, there are a lot of other places to get a good burger. Eating less and less here.

Ordered takeout. Food was not hot when I got it home, 5 mins away. Called back and was told they do not keep it under a warmer until you get there. Food looked dry and old.

The hollandaise on the eggs Benedict was practically invisible. I asked if they forgot to include it, was told it's just thinner this morning - I don't think there was any on eggs at all. Then I took a bite of the hash brown casserole - not room temp - but cold - like straight from the frig cold. I mentioned to server, and she returned like 30 seconds later with a steaming plate, obviously nuked. (Probably left over from yesterday). It had a weird taste and texture and taste. Well, that coffee was great! I'm a regular here, and this visit was just way off in terms of food quality.

A manager brought us the donuts as the waitress was getting orders for the big group. Thankfully the breakfast came out before the group and we were much appreciative of the waitress jumping up to the task. All was good and the food was enough for me to take a full biscuit and extra gravy home for the next morning with home cooked eggs

It is in a strip mall near Ollie's and a recruiter for aemed forces. There are sign boards outside describing the few specials for the day. We entered and a waitress said we could seat ourselves anywhere there is an open table. There were a lot of openings, so we picked a booth and in a few minutes, Tammy approached us and took our orders for coffee and water. When she delivered those items, we placed food orders and off Tammy went to get the process working. It was not more than 10 minutes that we waited, when the food was brought out to us. I had the biscuits and gravy with sausage mixed in to the gravy. One large biscuit split in two was in a large bowl and covered with tasty gravy. A side of twp eggs was also delivered or make a complete breakfast for me. My wife ordered the special of eggs, hash browns and toast including coffee was also delivered and it was all good. Reasonable prices for ample food is a plus going to this place. Tammy was friendly and engaging and came back for coffee refills and pleasantries.
