Had breakfast there early and I needed quick service as I had to be somewhere after breakfast. They were prompt, had coffee and refills, pancakes came quick, delicious (blueberry) . Got to my next stop on time, very pleasant cashier as well

Location Leesburg Parking Large lot Service Good-we had a large group and I was really hungry Seating Good for single or any number of group Menu Seasonally changing Cracker Barrel menu. Two had the specialty coffee. I had the old timers-the bacon was extra crispy as ordered. The skillets with steak and bacon looked amazing. Gift shop So many items that I have to have! Tip You can borrow audio books and return them at the next Cracker Barrell. Summary Dependable quality menu, great service, the gift shop is irresistible.

Today mom and I decided to check out the local Cracker Barrel. It was pretty crowded, but our wait to be seated was less than twenty minutes. Our server, Shauna got to us quickly and brought us our drinks right away while we waited for our food. We waited about twenty-five minutes, which wasn't ideal, but was to be expected during lunch hour rush. I ordered the grilled chicken tenders with corn and hashbrown casserole. My tenders were not very good and the hashbrowns were cold. Mom ordered a new dish they had, I'm not really sure what it is called but it had scrambled eggs, steak, onion straws and lots of other yumminess. It was really good. When we were done, Shauna was quick to bring us our check and to go boxes. Overall, it was okay, but nothing to write home about.

This was such a well ran Cracker Barrel and an even nicer place to work . We've worked at 6 stores while being full time RVers and this one sure felt like home. Very clean kitchen , great training on following recipes , and even better management staff.

I've actually never been to a Cracker Barrel before, so figured it was about time whilst visiting my parents. A very large menu of Southern-heavy dishes that come in very large portions for reasonable price. Some items were pretty good, but others were a bit mediocre. Chicken n' Dumplins: Shockingly, I've never had chicken n' dumplins before (even though I've had tons of chicken dumplings over the years). I was very pleased with this dish. Tender poached chicken, like what you'd find inside a good pot pie. A mildly flavored milky white sauce with a bunch of dough clumps floating between the chicken. Paired well with richer items in my meal. Meatloaf: Very thick and meaty, which means probably low on filler. Also, lots of nice flavoring. I could see the onion and pepper bits. Country Ham: Wasn't a fan. Thin pieces of ham that was overcooked on the grill. The ham was very fatty and chewy, which makes me think it wasn't very tender before it was grilled up. I'm used to tender spiral ham you get at Easter, so this tough ham really wasn't my jam. Fried Okra: Small slices of okra breaded heavily in a grainy batter and deep fried. Kinda tasty, but also a little slimy. Whenever I have Indian bhindi (i.e. fried okra) they seem to find a way to make the inside less slimy; wish that was the case here. Macaroni n' Cheese: Really liked the generous cheese sauce. Al dente macaroni too. Felt kinda like home cooking. Though none of the cheese was particularly fancy. Hashbrown Casserole: A bit weird to have hashbrowns with a lunch/dinner kind of meal, but I ordered this side since it seemed popular. Was a little dry and the potato shreds were a bit too small for my tastes. But the cheese throughout, especially the crispy bits were nice. Buttermilk Biscuit: I really liked this biscuit! Fluffy and buttery, especially when you add your own butter. Better than Popeye's biscuits, which I always thought were good too. Cornbread: Grainy and not too sweet. A little soft inside and firm outside. Not as a good as the biscuit, but still tasty. Fruit Stand Tea: Super sweet. Some subtle fruit flavorings. Very refreshing on a hot day.

My daughter wanted to get some cracker barrel tonight so I took her to this one there was about an hour left untill they closed so I figured we had enough time to get something the waitress we had was a bit rude I git the cod they has as their special tonight with fries and coslaw when my food came out I never got the coslaw so I mentioned it to her when she came back to the table I mentioned I never got it and asked if she could bring some hot sauce if they had it she said she would get it but as she turned she was rolling her eyes at me then went into the back and after that she was just rude she never refilled any of the drinks and we could hear the other server talking to her about another table saying the family at that table will try to keep them all night she said no not me so I'm pretty sure she was trying to get out of work so that's why the service sucked I would not recommend this place based off of the service I just received I will say the food was good but my service was not.

    Brianna, the best server here!!

Food portions smaller. Service was so so. Ambience, waiting for this store to cave and transform into what Black Rock wants. Boo

Sunday dinner is back and you can get it Thursday through Sunday. Cotton's Kitchen offers meals,…read moresides and desserts that are made from scratch and taste home-made. On the Sunday afternoon I visited they were offering ox tail and served many soul food favorites. They had so many good options I honestly wanted to try it all. I settled on the baked chicken lunch. BBQ chicken was a daily special and they allowed me to get half baked and half BBQ. The chicken was moist and the seasoning was tasty. I really like that the daily specials have two sizes, lunch and dinner, to fit your appetite. For sides I chose the fried okra. These crisp bites had just the right amount of seasoning so they were not all texture. Okra was the star of my plate. I also got the mac n' cheese. It was a tough decision because I also wanted to try the cabbage, green beans or northern beans sides. I would go back for the okra alone. My meal came with a slice of home made cornbread. They had two of my favorite desserts. Banana pudding and peach cobbler so I tried both. The banana pudding with the Nilla wafers and pieces of banana was perfect without any fake banana flavor. The peach cobbler was the best I have had in a long time. My cobbler was not too sweet and just full of peaches. There was no skimping on the fruit and the ratio of peaches to cake was 3 to 2. Cotton's Kitchen decor reminds me of a diner but the clean white, black and red dining room is anything but old. The staff is very friendly and helpful. You order at a counter and they bring your food to the table. The staff was really attentive and checked back frequently to see if I needed anything. They offer daily specials, sides and featured items. I noticed quite a few customers ordering family sized meals to go. They had a lot of regular customers they had a relationship with and overall the vibe was vibing. There is a small parking lot and on street parking as well. The restaurant is about 2 blocks from Leesburg's Venetian Park which might be a good way to walk off the calories. I went to a show at Melon Patch Players less than a half mile away. I can't wait to try the smothered pork chops or just a plate full of sides.
