Great service and breakfast. Appreciated the gluten pancakes were light which I love. The chicken sausage is my fav. The food came out fast and was good. There is a waitlist in advance to help which is great. The only complaint I have is as we sat there the conversation got louder as more people came in and they cranked the music so loud to try and get over the conversation. And if you eat out you know how that usually turns out, people talk louder especially with this clientele. Thus it was loud, glad we checked out by then. read more

This was my second time coming here. I wanted to see if it could be as good as the first. Well, it's was so much better. My server Catera was absolutely wonderful, pleasant, sweet, upbeat and made my experience even better. She recommended the City Grits and let me tell you, you MYST get them, grits with Gouda cheese, thick crunchy bacon, tomatoes and they are incredible!!! I had the Eggs Benedict and it comes with a huge piece of thick ham over the 2 pieces of muffins, eggs cooked perfectly and asked for a little extra hollandaise and it was there. We sat at the counter and it was great. Sandy was our server and she is excellent. Portions are big so we split the Apple Fritter French toast that comes with 2 eggs and your choice of meat. I met a friend here for breakfast today. Was my first time. I forgot my phone so didn't get to check-in or take photos. I had the Supreme Omelet with Gluten Free toast and fruit (instead of potatoes). I also had Decaf coffee. The Good: 1) The omelet was tasty and had a nice amount of filling. 2) Our server was really nice and attentive - she kept the coffee refills coming 3) The interior is nice and the booths are comfortable 4) I was happy they offer Gluten Free toast - they also have GF pancakes (I didn't get to try these). 5) The side of fruit was nice too - sliced strawberries, blue berries and grapes. The fruit is a .50 upcharge. The Bad: 1) Sticker shock - my bill was $23.40 before tip. And I usually leave 20%, so that was $28 for breakfast. I just felt like that was a lot for an omelet and coffee. I go out to breakfast a lot around the area and that meal is pretty much always under $20. They do have a lot of offerings, some unique, on the menu and the food I had was good. If you want to try something new, give them a try. I probably won't be back quickly due to the pricing. read more

I was there at 9:15AM this morning and sat at the bar. First off, acoustically, it's very noisy. I ordered eggs over easy, their homemade sausage patties, fried potatoes, and a biscuit with sausage gravy. So, on a 1-10 scale (10 best) here is the review: eggs (10), sausage (10), potatoes (1) - because they are deep fried, comon cook them on a grill - and they were far over-cooked, biscuit (10), and the sausage gravy (1) - tasted very strange and weird consistency. I'm from Michigan and Indiana and know good gravy - this isn't it. Service was very good! read more

I came in this morning with my mom. Waited about 15 minutes to get a table which was fine as they were very busy. I ordered the veggie omelette, which was supposed to come with goat cheese and vegetables. Mom got the seasonal lemon berry mascarpone pancakes, which were excellent. And fortunately for me, she shared one with me. The food took at least 30 minutes to come, maybe more, and when we got it, my omelette was lukewarm. I didn't complain as the restaurant was so busy and I could tell they were struggling. However, not only was it cold, but it was very bland, and eventually I realized that it had no cheese at all. (And goat cheese is not subtle.) Our server never came back to check on us once in the nearly an hour that we were in the restaurant. No one came by to refill coffee or check on anything. When we were finished eating, our server Melissa came with the check. At this point I really had some time to consider the cold and bland omelette and I told her about it. (I also left part of it so she could see what I was talking about.) She told me that she would take 10% off. The omelette was $14 and I really didn't feel that this was a fair and adequate solution. She went on to tell me that I ate so much of it before letting them know. Just a bad attitude. I told her that no one came to the table in an hour to let them know! I was hungry and continued to pick at my food while I waited for someone to come to the table. Thankfully, she sent the manager to us. Michael apologized for the inadequacy today and comped my omelette 100%. I feel like he was able to understand that I wasn't trying to be unkind and I wasn't trying to get something for nothing. The food and the service really wasn't up to par and 10% on a $14 omelette was just not cutting it. I hope that he will review this situation with Melissa as there are times that one just needs to apologize and take responsibility for something that isn't done right. Michael also gave us a card for a free entrée in the future, which is probably the reason I will give them another chance in the future. read more

Breakfast today was just alright!!! Not too long of a wait for a table. I did find out that Another Broken Egg Cafe has on-line waitlist option available. Ordered the Bacon Lover's BLT & A with a hard fried egg added to the sandwich. When my order arrived the hard fried egg was on the side not on the sandwich. This is not the first time the kitchen has not been able to comply with an order. Had a medical apt in Brownwood early this am, so we decided to stop by and try out this place for breakfast. The food was AMAZINGLY good. I had the Eggs Benedict with bacon and tomato slices, hubby had the hash brown potato cake Benedict . He also got grits as his side. He said the best grits he has ever had, so I had to try and I'm telling you they are SO good I can't wait to go try their SHRIMP AND GRITS this weekend. Service was excellent, Melissa was excellent and very helpful with recommendations since it was our first visit. Only thing I would recommend is a little more calm, relaxing music for us older folks. read more

This is the second time posting as I really wish for others to realize what they may be in for. First off, it is very obvious that our contribution to your business will not be missed; however, I will explain why my fist impression is negative.  My wife and I thought we would have a breakfast out on Veterans Day morning.  Also she was trying to do this as a nice gesture to me , a veteran of 31 years. We entered your establishment an put our name on the wait list.  We were told it would be 10 - 20 minutes and also observed that there were not too many others waiting so we elected to stay.  After patiently waiting for 20 or more minutes, I inquired about our position on the list.  I had also observed a table capable of seating 4 people had been cleaned and sitting empty.  The results of my inquiry lead me to learn that there were 2 parties of 6 people ahead of us and these people were not in the restaurant prior to us. We knew of a party of 4 that were also waiting in the restaurant like us and figured that we would be seated after them. Had we known that this establishment prioritizes online waiting and there were these two parties ahead of us, we would not have wasted our time waiting.   I have also discussed this type of situation with some others who are as disillusioned as we are. read more

Not very busy for breakfast time in the Villages (shortlyafter 10a.m). After ordering food, it was later sat in front of us with burnt toast, but everything else seemed ok. The server later came back and asked about and then /apologized for our toast being BURNED! I tried to infer to her that it is HER responsibility to Qualify Control the food before serving it to customers. Instead of understanding, she made excuses for their toaster be "too sensitive" and often burning toast! Unacceptable! She should have offered to take it back & make the order better/not burned. A perfect mothers day brunch! I took my mother and our pups out for mothers and, with putting our name in online, we had no wait time. We enjoyed the salted caramel spiked cold brews and grand Garnier mimosas. The service was wonderful (thank you Madison!) The food was also great, with an awesome selection for any taste buds. At my point where I'm finally writing a review because it's ridiculous how horrible the service at this location is. (And I never write reviews). I absolutely loved this chain restaurant and their food, but this specific location has made me dislike going there. The last 5 times I've gone there, the wait is long (which is fine) but then is takes 10+ min for a server to greet our table. And then on top of that, my food comes out wrong EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I order a BLT&A and add egg and white toast and they just give me the original sandwich. And then when I tell the server, it takes another 15 minutes for them to bring out what I ordered. And I get the same excuse everytime , that the kitchen "lost the ticket". This time, going today, we walked in and waited 10+ minutes to even be greeted by a host.... Which wasn't even the host, she was a server. Which then the server told us after not being greeted for 10 minutes that it would be a 20 minute wait, okay fine whatever... literally AS I AM PUTTING my name down with the server, I see the hostess sprint over to the host stand from out of nowhere???? and tell the server "ohhh No no it's about a 45 min wait don't tell them that." Well we'd been sitting there for 10 minutes already with no one greeting us and a line of 5 people already accumulating behind me. And now suddenly a hostess is running over telling her that the wait is longer. Oh also I saw 5 tables pay and get up during this, which could've been flipped by then. The service here honestly is absolutely awful. And I've seen the same hostess and servers working every single time giving the same awful service. The only thing that ever kept me going to this location was the food, but they even proved they couldn't get a simple sandwich correct the 3 times in a row that I went there. Absolutely ridiculous. Needs new staff entirely. read more
