Surprisingly the Waffle House does not serve a big variety of waffles. I was slightly disappointed with the options. Was hoping for chicken and waffles. Breakfast options for eggs and hash browns. Server may have been new, but had to ask to refill the coffee all 3 times. Food was prepared to Order and hot. The sausage breakfast sandwich was good. You have to give a star to leave a review or this one would be ZERO STARS. This WH has declined steadily over the last year but today's order was the worst ever. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with pickles and a side order of crispy bacon. The sandwich was cold and soggy with cheese that looked and tasted like plastic. Not a single pickle and the bacon was extra greasy and floppy rather than crispy and tasted like it had been microwaved. When I pointed out that the pickles were missing I was informed that they are an 'extra'. Will NOT be stopping here again. read more

Waffle House is an iconic part of the American Southeast's landscape. In my travels up and down the highways of the southeast, the familiar yellow neon has often beckoned me for a quick meal. In my opinion, the strongest allure of Waffle House is not their waffles, but rather their hash browns, which Walt fine on their own, can also be topped with a variety of toppings. Chili is an often choice to top off my hash browns. As far as my normal orders, I often go with a patty melt or one of their breakfast items. I would not recommend getting a steak from the Waffle House, but you can't go wrong one of those simple, unpretentious meals. I would recommend a visit to either this location or any of their many look throughout the southeast. So where this started from humble origins, it has become a southern institution. I haven't been to a Waffle House in years but I always remember they took cash only for payment (as we hardly had enough cash when we discovered this!!). I wish the menu had an option ist for hash browns and eggs - and it very well might and I may have missed it perhaps- but I was super satisfied with my Texas bacon steak sammich OMG yummmm!! We travel frequently and often stop at a Waffle House. While WH is not necessarily known for clean restrooms, they do have good coffee and good food for the most part. Tonight we stopped at this particular WH and we're pleasantly surprised. The servers, Tammy and Suzanne, were quite friendly and welcoming, and Richard is the first cook to actually cook my eggs well done, as I asked. And the restroom, perfectly clean! So disappointing - went to grab breakfast before a fishing tournament at 4:45am - there was a person at the counter waiting for their food and a table for two waiting for their food. Key words, SITTING WAITING FOR THEIR FOOD - we came in and all the tables were dirty and we would not have minded waiting - there was an older lady and a young one. The older lady was nice and said just bear with them and she would get a table clean but the young one whispered to her and then the tune changed to "sorry, we can only do takeout at this time." Well, we are 2 teams dragging 2 boats and cannot eat and drive so we elected to leave - as we were leaving they THEN put a sign out on a chair stating "toho only" - they very well had the ability to help us, they elected not to and that is shame. read more

We meet here when we golf on Saturdays. We had been missing-in-action for almost 7 months due to surgery. When we sat down, the waitress brought us menus and asked what we would like to drink. When she came back for our order, the "Rock Star" Grill Operator has turned around and told her what we wanted. He actually remembered exactly what each of us ordered and it had been almost 7 months since we had eaten there ! He is AWESOME ! I had the hash brown bowl with bacon, and milk. My friend had 2 eggs fried hard with wheat toast and a side of sausage. He had Mr. Pibb to drink. Everything was fresh and hot AND delicious. So, now I have cut WAY back on carbs and have just been getting 2 eggs scrambled with a side of bacon. Every time it is served quickly and hot. Oh, and delicious !!! This past Saturday, I ordered a ham and cheese omelette and again, it was great. This Waffle House has been clean every time we eat there and everyone is friendly.
