My hubby and I eat breakfast here every Sunday morning. We keep coming back because it checks all the boxes. The servers are friendly and accommodating (big shout out to Deana, she always has our favorite table ready!) The scrambled eggs are cooked just right, the whole grain pancakes are especially yummy. And the coffee - freshest coffee on the planet! Always served hot and they keep it coming. The booths are clean and comfy and they don't mind if we linger. my grandson is a truck driver and stopped there to eat. everything was going well for him until he heard the cooks talking about how much food was ordered for one person. he immediately went back to his truck and told me what happened...well i called immediately and spoke to the manager in charge erica who stated she was going to speak to the cooking staff....well i told her that since they were complaining about how much food was ordered...maybe they should pay the bill...and i explained to her how disrespectful the staff had been in making such awful remarks. so i asked erica that he should be refunded his 30.00 and change...the humiliation he had to endure was unacceptable...no one has the right to judge anybody on what or how they eat...he's a 23 year old young man...and to feel belittled like that is completely unacceptable....i don't care who you are...we live almost 4-5 hours away if not i would have been there in a heartbeat...erica the manager stated that she would credit his card back what he spent there....but still nothing...so ok...i will be reaching out to cooperate office...if you don't like your job so be it...but keep your negative comments to yourself especially if they can hear what you say...... read more

This review is a long time coming. My husband and I eat here quite often. We have always had really good service from all of the servers. The food is always tasty and warm. The booths have been updated in the past few years so the seating is nice. The tables are kept clean and well stocked. Seems like everyone gets along and works well together. It can get busy from holiday travel and prime time of the day. But we are retired and have our own schedule so we don't deal with the crowds. I recommend this location 2615 N. I was in Denny's in nacogdoches Tx. Sunday night. My son and I. This was a to go order. Moon over my mammy. Sandwich. It comes with egg ham and 2 cheese s. I ordered nachos . My nachos had no meat at All and only 1 kind of cheese. And taste disgusting. My son's sandwich comes with 2 cheese's he had only 1 cheese and no ham at all. The dog's wouldn't eat it. Was not super hungry coming in to charge. But wow! The food was surprisingly awesome! Streak was flavorful and perfectly made to medium rare. My wife's chicken was tender and juicy. Traveling so we stopped in on Christmas Day every employee so cheerful and helpful. Ordered omelettes cooked as ordered Waitress "DD"kept checking to see if we needed anything so pleasant. Horrible. The staff turnover rate is amazing. The staff have walked out due to bad management. This place has been run horribly since it opened. I ordered a steak that had to be from a zombie cow. The waitress was very polite and came by our table often. The food was ok, I ordered a burger but I felt that it needed more flavor it tasted as if the meat itself was not seasoned, sure there was a sweet garlic sauce on it but some bites were not the same as others so i would say that the flavor wasn't very consistent throughout the dish. I thought the Denny's problem was just in the town we moved from, but clearly it's an overall Denny's problem. Thankfully, this one was clean and well kept (maybe newer?) attached to a nice gas station. It took the staff a few minutes to even notice us. One gal looked at us, then checked out a customer and went about her business until a second gal seated us. Our waitress was very sweet and kind. Not overly concerned or checking on us in excess. The coffee was piping hot and burnt. The waitress was sweet enough to bring my boyfriend and I separate creamers we preferred, but I could drink my coffee from the burnt taste. Our food came out in less than 6 minutes... what?! My scrambled eggs were like a spongy omelet. Hash browns are dry and flavorless. Bacon strips came out tiny, greasy and ice cold. Really needed a nice filling breakfast before a long day of work, but I guess I'll turn to some of the local spots. If they improve their food, I'll be back because the waitress was very nice and the place was clean. read more

Well we can't eat in at the best Denny's I have ever found- yes I say the best because I have eaten in Denny's from Spokane Washington. To Georgia- this one is the best in my option-- especially in a truck stop- just did the carry out - I'll go back again in the morning--and when I come back up Monday-I never stay in San Antonio because I know I get great food slabs service here in Nacogdoches! I am 100 % independent owner operator- I go where I want and when I want -- so I always come back here for the staff and for this Denny's---and the truck stop staff---eat there this CB morning - extremely clean- every one of the staff was wearing mask- of course the food was great, they keep my coffee full- still the best Denny's ever- I have went to Denny's from Spokane to Georgia - this one is the best! I sat at the bar top. So, I didn't have a problem with the service. I would recommend sitting at a table close to the bar. That way you can just wave and get your servers attention and that tip goes for anywhere you go to eat. The manager last night was definitely on the lazy side. The service here was absolutely awful. We were seated right by the hostess' table, given menus, and completely abandoned. We sat there for almost an HOUR, not even a drink order. None of the wait staff even looked at us. As a waitress, I was embarrassed FOR the place. We watched other people be seated, waited on, even served food and no one even batted an eye at us. FOR ALMOST AN HOUR! I even tried to get the attention of the staff, not a single person answered. We eventually just got up and left.
