Ordered: Large pepperoni pizza Cheese sticks Super Italian sub Meatball sub Let me start off with the Super Italian sub. Whoever made this train wreck should NEVER be allowed to make a sandwich again! This thing was literally a 1/4" thick piece of ham and a 1/4" thick piece of salami with an entire head of chopped lettuce and a tomato cut in half. When we tried to fold it everything ended up on the counter. Would NEVER order this again. The cheese sticks were just OK and the meatball sub was bland and mushy. Pizza was average as well. I would stick to Roma's on Main and skip this place in the future. The Italian sub that looked like a three year old made it was a deal breaker. read more

We were looking for gluten free and holy smokes this was a winner. Fresh out of the oven thin crispy gluten free and the best pizza we've had in a bit! The calamari smelled terrible and wasn't cooked very well, my pasta primavera was not traditional because it had weird vegetables in that didn't go together at all with a red sauce and my other son's shrimp scampi smelled horrible and did not taste like shrimp scampi at all! Last night pulled up to this Restaurant before dropping my daughter at SFA. We ordered a Pizza and the Fettuccine Pasta. OMG! Food was delicious freshly made, we enjoyed everything. During our travels, we stopped at Napoli's per suggestion from the hotel attendant. We were greeted as soon as we walked through the door. It' was busy for Sunday, but our service was friendly and fast! We indulged in a small Greek salad, cheese sticks, and the supreme pizza! All of the food was delicious! The pizza came out hot and fresh! The salad was light and dressed well. If we are back in Nacogdoches again, we'll definitely be back! I can see why they were voted best of Nac 2025! Two side Caesar salads Garlic knots Chicken Alfredo It was all just absolutely amazing all fresh food great service. It was a busy Saturday night and the restaurant was filled with SFA students and parents decked in school regalia. We were lucky to get a nice table. Our server was very attentive and made sure everything was perfect. I had spaghetti and meatballs and my wife had seafood with pasta and marinara sauce. The side salads were generous and very tasty. The food presentation was pleasant and we both enjoyed our food. My only criticism would be that the meatballs were bland and mushy. Great place for anyone in nac or just passing through. Pizza and rolls are great. A little expensive but it is definitely worth it.

The most difficult part of this review is deciding which perfection to extoll about first. First, its location is exceptional. It stands out at a strip mall on a busy street across from the Central High School football stadium. Next, once you enter and take a left turn down a lovely stone brick floor, you hear Dino Martino's eloquent voice take you back into the past. The dining space is wide and immaculately clean. The tables are intimate and private even if they are somewhat adjacent to each other. The staff is friendly and most importantly...the food...oh my Jehovah, the food. The food isn't good. It's divine. If aliens or angels descended upon my home, I'd take them to Napoli's to show what the Earth can offer in terms of cuisine. I eat there on average...once every 3 months. I take friends there, I'll take dates there. If I was married, I'd celebrate every anniversary there. I recommend the Beef Cannelloni, the Spaghetti & Meatballs, and oh heck, I recommend the whole menu. It's that delicious! But the thing you absolutely must try is the tiramisu. I'm not a coffee drinker and I am in love with their tiramisu. Ambrosia and nectar isn't the food of the gods. Their tiramisu is. Go immediately. Don't look anywhere else. Cancel whatever dinner plans you already have. Do yourself a favor. GO THERE TONIGHT! Full disclosure: The owner isn't just a friend of mine but is currently my neighbor as well. This review is based solely upon an order that I picked up as takeout. I picked it up at lunch one day during the week for a group of customers. It was at their request. The food was good. The order was ready on time for pick up. When I was there and waiting for my food, I noticed they were making pizzas. The pizzas looked absolutely fantastic. I did not actually eat one but made a mental note to come back and get one. They really looked good. I look forward to trying it in the near future. I visited Lake Nacogdoches for a little getaway, and tried take-out from Napoli's. Having grown up in northern NJ where Italian-American food is king, I have high standards for Italian food (and much as I know this is unfair, low expectations for Italian food in other parts of the U.S., especially in small towns.) But Napoli's was tasty, and I was happy with our dinner! We tried the eggplant parm and cheese tortellini alfredo. The alfredo sauce was quite heavy, but creamy and delicious. Eggplant was nicely breaded, and served with pasta with a decent tomato sauce. The entrees came with garlic knots, which were a bit underwhelming (not super flavorful and softer than I'd expect them to be). The prices are great, around $10 for an entree. Food was ready when they said it would be and piping hot. Lots of vegetarian options here; nothing on the menu is vegan-friendly as ordered; you could ask about modifications. read more

So glad someone from SFA told me to go here. The food was great!! But the service was far superior to that. Had one of the best pasta dishes ever, made a few special requests and they were all taken care of with no problem or attitude. I had asked for the meat sauce which came almost straight meat, the server asked if there any problems so I asked if I could get a little extra sauce, she brought out meat sauce which was mixed with their regular sauce and it was so tasty. It had great flavor and the dish was so great. Also added sausage to the dish, it came sliced and tasted homemade. Also ordered a very good Merlot at a great price too. After moving our kid into SFA, we found ourselves tired and hungry at the Hampton Inn. We called and the order tqker was sharp, friendly, and efficient. He let us know it would be about an hour. The calzone was huge, perfectly cooked with an insane amount of ricotta and mozzarella. The sausage was amazing swimming in a vat of cheese and crispy crust. I kept coming back to it even after I was full. The baked Ziti was great as well my wife loved it. Only downside was we had order 6 garlic knots and only got 2? But we were stuffed silly anyway. How they handled the Coronavirus and stepped up to help the community will never be forgotten. You know those places you side-eye for two years because the curb appeal is just "meh" and everyone tells you to go to the other Italian-ish pasta place in town? That's this place. Little did I realize how wrong I was for that. This blows the other place in Nac out of the park. I am not an Italian food lover. I do not crave pasta or pizza or any kind of carb overload. My kiddo wanted some pizza and my pregnant self kept thinking about chicken parm so insert a trip to Napolis. Holy smokes. The garlic rolls are BOMB. I think I could eat them until I turn into a beached whale. Their small pizza was enough to feed my six year old for 3 meals (and cheap!) The crust is thin, the cheese is the cheesiest and stringiest and it's not greasy in the least. It's a well balanced pie. Their pizza is so well seasoned all around! I now recommended this joint for anyone saying they want some pizza. The serving sizes of their entrees are HUGE. Easily enough for 2 meals, three of you eat even smaller portions. Their pasta is perfectly cooked. The marinara isn't overly sweet or acidic. You know those places that have that bomb ranch that you know there's no way it came from a processed, preservative filled bottle? That's this place. Their ranch dressing to something to write about. (If I'm going to carb load, I always try to make it feel less guilty with a house salad. I'd order all the salads if I could just have all. the. ranch). You can easily order ranch to dip your pizza crusts in (like my husband), but salad makes me feel better about life. Since we decided to eat in, I have ordered to-go from here twice. (And this from the least biggest fan of Italian style food). Their customer service is always killing it. I feel like I'm invited into their home every tome I step instead.
