Arrived in Page very late due to traffic, and since nothing was open after 11pm, we decided to try Denny's since it's open 24/7. We hadn't been to Denny's in a while, but this visit was a great reminder of why it's a solid choice. The restaurant was empty when we arrived, and Tracie greeted us right away. She was super friendly, welcoming, and helpful from the start--seated us quickly, offered drinks, and walked us through the menu. She was also happy to accommodate a few substitutions on my plate and did so genuinely. Tracie checked on us throughout the meal to make sure everything was good. The food was great, and the service was even better. We would definitely come back to Denny's, and if we're ever in Page again, we'd hope to be served by Tracie. I've had a long history with Denny's -- back in 2018 I was traveling a lot for work, and it became my go-to stop across the country. I know most of the menu by heart at this point. This time though, we came as a group of eight, and things got a little more complicated. To be fair, handling eight separate orders and split checks isn't easy, but our server managed it well. Drinks came out quickly, even though one smoothie had a hair in it -- not great, but they replaced it right away, and we moved on. Then, seven meals showed up... and one didn't. That part dragged on longer than it should've, and no one apologized, which didn't feel right. They tried to fix it fast after, but it left a mark. As for the food -- mixed results. My chicken was overcooked, the sauce had a bit of a burnt taste, smoothies were more ice than flavor, and the burgers came out dry. It's not the cleanest Denny's I've been to either, which didn't help. Still, our server was great -- polite, attentive, did his best through all the chaos. If it were just about him, this would be a 5. But the kitchen and overall execution bring it down to a fair 3. I'll keep stopping by Denny's on the road -- just not this particular one. read more

Honestly, this place managed to fail on every single level -- hair in the food, a forgotten order, an extra item on the bill, and not even a single piece of paper in the restroom. I don't even know where they didn't mess up. But let me start from the beginning. We were on our way to Lake Powell, and this spot seemed perfect on our route. Our group had 8 people. My friend ordered a mango smoothie and found a hair in it. She asked for a replacement and specifically requested a strawberry-banana one so they wouldn't just pull the hair out and bring the same glass back. Guess what -- both smoothies ended up on the bill. Then came another issue with her mom's order. Everyone got their food except her. When we asked, it was clear from the waiter's face that he had simply forgotten it. Instead of checking if we still wanted it (since she already snacked on some fries from our friends), they made us wait another 30 minutes and then handed it to us in a to-go box. Of course, that dish was also charged on the bill. As for the food itself -- my smoothie was basically flavored ice with zero actual taste, and my boyfriend's chicken dish was dry. Not many choices in this small town, so we settled here for a quick brunch prior to our long drive. We came here on a Wednesday around noon, and the place wasn't busy. The service was good, just a little slow. We weren't expecting much going to a chain. The Santa Fe skillet was alright, the chorizo was too salty, and it was mostly potatoes, with less veggies and a small portion. However, the loaded veggie omelet was great, full of veggies and an adequate portion. First time leaving a review, and upon reading reviews left from others, I wish I would have read them much sooner. My father in-law insisted we stop in to Denny's for a quick sit-down lunch, and since my husband and I had never been to this one before, despite passing it dozens of times over the year, and with our kids' excitement over going to a Denny's, we ultimately decided: "Why the heck not?" Boy, was that a mistake. We should've known from the way the men's restroom was, and how empty the restaurant was. To start, neither my husband or my father in-law was willing to use the restroom there, after seeing the condition it was in: blood smeared on the wall, fecal matter on the toilet seats, and a bag placed over the urinal to keep people from using it. Waiter was great, kind, friendly, cordial: did all of the things a waiter should do. However, when we heard one of the ladies yell from the back, to another wait staff member, about how she "didn't know what she was doing", we should've believed her, and left then. My husband and one of my sons, ordered the steaks: they were heavily unseasoned, and had an awful taste to them, like they'd just pulled them from some deep freezer and tried to cook them right then and there. I had ordered one of their sandwiches, which was so bland, that everything in it was mostly just dry, unappealing texture, with flavorless, unripe avocado slices. Unfortunately, we had ordered two meals to go, before we realized how not-so-great the food was, only to get home and find hair (based on comments from others, this seems to be a theme..) in the chicken tenders meant for my daughter, and for the chicken not tainted by hair? Inedible. Had some funky chemical-ish flavor coming from it from the time it touched a person's taste buds. What a waste of money, time, and food. If you're thinking of stopping here: don't. My advice? Go up the road a little bit more, save your money, and partake of any other restaurant that is past this place. read more

The worst Denny's I have ever been to. Not that I have high standards for Denny's but still.. We went in well after dinner time so the restaurant was relatively empty. After waiting for a while to be seated, we got seated on a table that has not been wiped. The table was dirty and the seats were dirty. I had to look for the server to ask for napkins to wipe the table and seats ourselves. Even the silverware did not seem clean. It's Dennys. Don't expect much. We came after a long day in the bend around 10pm. Took them 55minutes to get our food out and they messed up on half our order. Everything was wayyyy too salty even for Denny's. Pancakes are probably the safest bet here but they even forgot the toppings on our pancakes. The waiter was ok and the bathrooms smelled bad. After a long day of touring, we were all hungry and tired. It was a little late on a Saturday night and not much was open in Page, but this Denny's was. We had a party of 5 people, and although there were only 3 seated tables in the entire restaurant when we walked in, it took a little while for someone to come greet and seat us. Everyone knew what they wanted, so we ordered right away. Our food took about 20-25 minutes to arrive at the table, but not everyone got their food at the same time. My spouse received his pancakes and fries about 10 minutes after we got our food, and his father received his hamburger and fries last... right around the time the rest of us were about done eating. I could tell he was highly upset about it, but he didn't want our food getting cold as he waited for his. So he patiently waited for his meal. Overall, everyone liked their food, however, all of the french fries were luke warm. We didn't want to complain and wait even longer because we were all pretty tired and just wanted to head back to our hotel. Maybe they just had a bad night, I might give this place another try on my next visit to Page. We shall see. read more

When we arrived there was maybe 4 other people in the restaurant yet it took at least 30 minutes to receive our order. Both meals were incorrect. I was supposed to have my eggs over easy, they were hard. 2 sausage links were missing. And I had yet to receive my tomato juice. When she arrived with the correct eggs and sausage, only one sausage link was semi-edible, the other burnt. I reminded her again about my tomato juice. This Denny's was far below the standard I've come to expect from Denny's. The food was satisfactory but the experience was not. The booth they set us in had a large rip about 3 feet long by 3 inches across. And there were plenty of other spaces they could have put us; the dining room was 90% empty. The highchair they gave us was appalling! It was filthy and missing several buckles. The waitstaff was okay, nothing spectacular but not bad either. This Denny's better put some time and labor into fixing these kind of issues, especially since they are in a tourist town!
