We came to Coquille to visit the Assessor's office and the lady we spoke to, Janice, highly recommended this place. So... We decided this was dinner! What a great place! They look like they really support the local schools and community. The staff was super friendly. We had a large pepperoni& sausage pizza and large salad. Food came out super quick and super HOT! After doing the traditional, "burn the roof of your mouth" bite (because we all know we can't wait, even if they say it's hot lol) we were delighted in the taste and quality of ingredients. Just a great blend of seasonings in the sauce made this a memorable pie! And the salad really hit the spot! Of course we had leftovers. Without even asking, a kind older woman brought us a to-go box. We had a brief chat and thanked her for such a great experience. I love the local vibe! Video games for the kids (or even the kids at heart) , TVs with sports playing, old photos of the area, picnic like seating. They've got you covered! Family friendly and delicious food. A+ read more

The staff takes basically days to take your order and even when they do take your order they always treat you like you belong on the streets! I have never felt so disrespected in a restaurant in my LIFE! My grandbaby wanted some chicken nuggets so I asked the staff if they had chicken nuggets and the staff scoffed and said lady we don't have any chicken nuggets here did you even read the menu! So Me and my grandbaby settled on the chicken strips my granddaughter was bummed out but she put that experience to the side and we went to go play some arcade games, Dennys has a wide variety of games but they were all greasy and gross, most of them didn't even work, my granddaughter was on the verge of tears! But finally the food came out which took FOREVER! The breading was falling off my grandbabys chicken strips! And we noticed some parts were hard and freezer burnt! I offered her a piece of my pizza and as I was taking a piece water leaked from the roof fell on my pizza! Unfortunate to say but Dennys really disappointed me I asked for another pizza and they denied my request! The ambiance was like a ancient gross New York City pub it was not a good experience at all! My boyfriend and I had lunch today at Denny's pizza after a stroll on the Coquille River Walk. He suggested the stop, claiming, "It's a cool place and has GREAT pizza." He was not wrong. We ordered a medium veggie pizza with sausage, and an order of Mojos-- more on those in a minute. The pizza did not take long to come to the table, even though there were 4-5 other tables who had just ordered before us. The pizza was piled toppings, perfectly baked. The crust was crispy and seasoned well enough to provide an interesting confluence of flavors with the fresh vegetables and tasty sausage. The "half-order" of Mojos we ordered was a full basket, well over a pound of seasoned and air-fried potato slices. It was an interesting accompaniment I was not ready to find so satisfying. As great as the food, the service was friendly, helpful, and attentive, even after our food had been delivered-- something fairly unusual in a casual pizza joint. Definitely a treat on our day's outing. Can't wait to return. read more

How did I not know about this place?? I was fortunate enough to be invited to a surprise 50th birthday party at this place & loved it! The ingredients were fresh, the toppings plentiful & the prices were reasonable (especially now), the service great & the atmosphere was so much fun! The kids loved the video games, claw machine & little carousel! My husband & I couldn't decide on which kind of pizza to get so we got 2 different kinds & loved them both. Furthermore, they have the option for take & bake pizza - brilliant!! We will be stopping by on our way out of town to bring take & bakes back home to Southern Oregon. This place smells delicious! We had an order of the potatoes and they gave us ranch and bleu cheese for dipping. The pizza crust is thin and firm with a dusting of cornmeal on the bottom. Real cheese and fresh toppings make for a wonderful pie! May I please recommend to management that the restrooms get a good cleaning - but they were well stocked with soap and paper towels. read more

Denny's Pizza is an iconi pizza restaurant of the small town of Coquille. People have been known to drive a couple hours to the coast and make Denny's a stop for pizza before their return home. They have new ownership and the pizza does not quite have the same flavor it did prior, but it may be just a matter of time. Don't let that put you off, or give hesitation in stopping in. There is an equal number of people that prefer the flavor under new onwnership as there are those that reminisce about the flavor of the prior. It really comes down to the sauciness of the pizza. It is still worth going to for the mojo's, burgers, and the onion rings which are some of the best we've ever had, even though they are now over priced.. Dennys pizza use to be the place I took every out of towner. The food was always perfect and the prices were reasonable. The workers were happy and it was always an amazing experience. But ever since the new owners have taken over, the food has been hit or miss. The prices have gone through the roof on everything. They literally doubled the price of ranch. The workers who we've known forever tell us how miserable they are because we have had a relationship with some of them for many years. Their hours have been cut short so no one can go when they get off work because they're already closed. I'm very disappointed that this amazing small town pizza place that was always well-known has now gotten such a bad reputation. I was born and raised in Coquille and this makes me very sad to see such an amazing pizza place quickly go downhill. 4 stars for taste; however, my only complaint would be is if someone's paying this restraunt $35 &up, management should at least consider offering 3-4 ranches free. Only offering 1 ranch free and then charging $1 for any additional is too steep of a price and leaves the customer feeling a wee bit agitated especially having spent so much. Average pizza. The crust in the old school cornmeal crust....I did enjoy the crust but it is not for everyone. My biggest issue was the toppings. I ordered pep, Canadian bacon, beef and tomato...the tomorrows were diced into micro pieces and fell off the pizza...and the beef was like a crumbled taco meat...also falling off pizza...if they used larger pieces of beef and sliced tomatoes I think the pizza would have been much better. read more

Denny's gets a lot of good reviews, and it was easy to see why. Pizza was excellent, and the platter of mojo's was enough to feed a family by itself. Only negatives are that chicken is no longer on the menu (unless you like chicken wings), and masking was severely lacking.
