Small little local fave! Laid back and casual. Was busy when I arrived. All of the tables were taken which is a good sign. Lots of choices. Had the Luau hot sandwich! Delicious, but messy! Get lots of napkins!

After reading other reviews I had high hopes for this place, thinking it should be better than Subway across the street. I ordered the Garbage Grinder and it was ok, but nothing special. If you're not a fan of onions be sure to tell them to go light or leave them off, they put on a LOT of onions.

One, tiny little meatball on top of some weird textured noodles, for $17. Hard pass. Won't be back.

Maybe it was my bad for ordering spaghetti and meatballs at a sandwich place. I asked for extra sauce, got a normal amount of sauce after they charged $3 extra for it. I got one, meatball. One. So for $17 this is what I got. The noodles taste like they're gluten free or maybe just not done. Not Al Dante done, just not done and not good. I'm sad and still hungry AF. Two stars for the garlic bread save.

Part of the side order of pizza bread $8.25

Really disappointed that the new owner is now using small hoagie rolls for the Regular size Hot pepper grinder, could not believe how small the sandwich's are now. I hardly had any meat on the Hot pepper sandwich, but did have a ton of onions. My boyfriend got the Large Pepperoni garbage grinder , and his hardly had any meat but had a ton of onions. Dont get me wrong the onions are delicious but we didn't want onions sandwich's . I ordered the Regular side pizza and my daughter who normally would eat their pizza refused it, the sauce tasted like tomato paste. The staff was friendly but that's the only good thing I can say. After I got home and saw the portion size I was mad that I paid 28.25 , and we were still being hungry after eating. That never happened when Helen ran the place. Really sad

Our gut grinder was delicious, great bread too, so glad we turned around and stopped.

This is a great place to eat. I recommend the hot pepper sandwich and French dip. A nice place to sit in the rainy weather and enjoy a meal

Wish I could give more than 5 stars for the sandwich! A little sketchy in the outside but the sandwiches were absolutely the best!

The grinder is awesome as was the meatball sandwich. The service was wonderful. So big that we took half home.

Don't let the bowling alley front sway you; the back patio is spacious and has a really great vibe. They have central heating (not individual stand up heaters) that warms the patio nicely when it is cold out. They also had a great mix of music playing. Our server Ryan could not have been nicer; just a cool guy and great server. We were checked on regularly to make sure we were comfortable with the temp and music volume. The food was good. Every spoonful of clam chowder was overflowing with ingredients and was delicious (it wasn't just soup with a few clams). Def check this place out.

The photographs of local indigenous activities really round out the vibe well. We ordered off the lunch menu; the mozzarella pearls appetizer was very good. Two of our party had the burgers, which were very generous, and well enjoyed. The shrimp scampi was also very good. My daughter had the crabcake sandwich, and thoroughly enjoyed it. I ordered the Beet, Burrata & Grapefruit salad, and found it to be the perfect flavor. Looking forward to coming back again soon, and trying out some of the whiskey offerings listed. The view from the dining area is quite inviting; I think families will really enjoy this place.

We have tried both charcuterie boards, focaccia, clam chowder, the ribeye steak, halibut and a cheeseburger. Everything was excellent. The appetizers were very good with a wide variety of meat and cheeses. The focaccia was fabulous. It is individually baked and so soft and flavorful. My husband's steak was perfectly cooked and very tender. Lastly, my halibut was the best I have ever had, tender with a light sauce over couscous. All three times we were too full to have dessert. The decor and ambiance of the restaurant is very lovely and upscale. We truly enjoyed dining at The Plank. The only thing that we would suggest is more options on the menu.
