What a great surprise. I had some significant hail damage to my car and Dent Devil was recommended to me by a friend. Terry (owner) was exceptional walking me through the entire process and communicating brilliantly while he was completely slammed with other hail damaged cars. Major damage can only be done by a body shop. If you have minor dings and dents to repair, this is the place to go for paintless dent repairs. Reasonable cost and excellent craftmanship. We were able to get dings in two vehicles evaluated Friday just before closing and scheduled to get them both done the following Wednesday. The gentleman was very accommodating around our work and meeting schedule and we were able to tag out vehicles and get all the work done. I recently had my 2020 Silverado dinged on the driver door. The ding was the size of a quarter and stood out like a black eye on the black paint. I drove to Dent Devil in Ballwin and was greeted promptly and was given a very reasonable quote within minutes and scheduled an appointment to get it done. On the day of the appointment I showed up at 9am and they were waiting for me, took my key and said we should be done towards the end of the day. I got a call around 2:30pm that it was ready. When I went to inspect the work it was like nothing ever happened, just perfect. They even buffed out the surface scuff from whatever created the ding. I am real anal when it comes to paint finishes on my cars. I am totally into detailing and taking care of my cars. I can say the work was awesome! I highly recommend them. read more

Went to the Clayton location today and worked with Mike. He did a great job explaining what kind of work my car would need and what that work would entail. In order to make it perfect, because of where the damage is located (the right rear wheel well), he said that it would require body work and paint that would probably run me $1000. However, he said that he could pull a few of the dents out, get rid of the scratches, and make it look much better in just half a day for $250. I was really impressed with his expertise and professionalism on the matter. I was really relieved to hear that there was a cheaper option. I took the car to another PDR shop and they said that the only option would be body work that would cost me $1300. I am gonna go with Mike at Dent Devil! This place does very good work. That being said they seem to be considerably more expensive than alternatives. I've used them for dings in the past but now go elsewhere where it is cheaper for the same work. They did do some wheel repair for me a few years ago and it still holds up well. read more

Some jack weed put a huge dent in my door when I was parked in a parking lot. It wasn't that big, but since it was on my drivers side door, I had to be reminded of it every time I got in and out of the car. I decided to get the dent fixed and was referred to this place by a friend. He used to work at the Reuther dealership and said that they used Dent Devil for their work with terrific results. The place is right at the corner of Holloway and Manchester. It took the place of a Mobil station that was there for years. But when you pull up, you'll notice that they spent some time sprucing it up. It's nice and modern inside decorated with old-time gas pumps. Bob was there when I dropped by for an estimate. He was super professional, meticulous, and friendly. He told me dent repairs start at $99, but mine was a bit higher since it was on a ridge-line. Either way, I was satisfied with the quote of $135 and scheduled an appointment. Drop off was between 9&10 and pick-up was between 1&2. However, when I dropped my car off, they were done by noon. You seriously can't even tell the dent was there. And they buffed out the scratches too. If you have have a dent on your car, and ~$100 to fix it, I highly recommend this place. They're nice, neat, fast, and friendly... and most importantly, they do very good work. read more

I had a serious dent/scratch in the driver's door of my vehicle. I was nervous to try Dent Devil because I haven't ever had dent repair and I was worried that I would get screwed over. I took my car into the Dent Devil and Mike gave me a very reasonable quote ($100 for a small dent/scratch) and I made an appointment for the next day. While I checked my email in the air conditioned lobby, Mike worked hard to repair the dent. He wasn't able to completely repair the scratch because of its location in the door, but he did completely remove the dent. Mike took the time to explain this to me and did not charge for his work. There is nothing cool about seeing your new truck dimpled like a golf ball. Terry quickly let me know "It was no big deal. They see it multiple times per day, and it would look like new when they were done." They work with hertz and enterprise and can schedule them to pick you up, if you need a rental like I did. A few months back Groupon offered a deal from The Dent Devil in Ballwin, MO which advertised "$50 for $500 worth of hail-damage repair". Today I went up to their shop to get an estimate and use my Groupon. I had 1 dent about the size of a quarter and 2 dings that were barely visible on the hood of my car from a quick hail storm this past spring. Bob came out to give me an estimate, which totaled $275 worth of repair....well within the $500 advertised. We walked back inside to figure everything up and when I produced my Groupon I was told he would not honor it without filing a claim with my insurance company. I have a $1000 deductible. When it was all said and done, the $275 hail damage repair would have cost me $550...($1000 deductible - $500 Groupon Allowance + $50 paid for the Groupon). NO WHERE on the printed Groupon NOR on the actual Groupon advertisement the day of the sale did it EVER say that I was REQUIRED to file a claim with my insurance company. Had I known that was going to be part of the process, I never would have made the purchase to begin with, knowing that my 1 dent and 2 small dings would never amount to my $1000 deductible. I had to argue with the owner for 20 minutes just to have my $50 refunded, much less get anything repaired. After reading good reviews for this business, I was looking forward to a positive experience. Unfortunately I left The Dent Devil today VERY disappointed. If the owners of this business won't stand behind their word on a Groupon they're selling, I question whether they would stand behind their work. read more

I just visited Dent Devil and met Terry McDonald and first off I just wanted to say thank you. He was very presentable and knowledgeable with everything he had to offer. I'm a perfectionist and I didn't know if he could help me but I took in my aftermarket exhaust that had a dent on the tip of the exhaust which bothered me a lot. He took the time to examine it and was willing to try whatever he could do to get the dent out. It might not seem like much but car enthusiasts like me really care about keeping the car in pristine shape. He did a great job on the exhaust dent but told me he was not satisfied and didn't want to charge me. Excellent experience at the Ballwin shop. Both the owner and salesman were very friendly and not pushy at all. The owner took me outside to look at my car and took the time to explain the process of fixing it to me. He quoted me on the spot and said he could get me in right away. There was no pressure, he said I could also schedule another time to come back if I wanted. He told me that they are always honest about their work because there are some things they aren't comfortable or able to do. They only quote knowing they can make it look like new again. He told me an hour and a half, so I walked next door to Target to kill time. The inside of their shop is very clean and looks comfortable if you waited there for your car to get done. My car pulled up right on time and he showed me the work; it was flawless, like it never was dented in the first place. The entire process was so easy, the quote was completely fair and reasonable. I couldn't be happier and would recommend this establishment to anyone. I'll be honest, when I looked up places nearby to have my car looked at, I was skeptical because I have a luxury car and assumed I should go to the dealership. I am so glad I came here instead! They are true professionals and are great at what they do. Also, they are open on Saturdays even though on the Yelp site they claim to be closed.
