Maitz auto repair is the real deal . Fast efficient and cost effective. 5 stars to be sure. A couple of weeks ago a deer ran into my truck while I was traveling at 65 mph on the interstate. Maitz quoted 8 to 10 days to correct the truck. They finished the job in 7 days. The truck was beautifully repaired. They completed 90% of the paperwork. And returned the vehicle clean inside and out. They actually detailed the vehicle to perfection. 5 stars indeed and complete confidence in Maitz auto repair. read more

I have been using Misner for my auto body repairs for about a decade or so now. I once again need to use them this week. They quoted me a price, and an estimated time...and then they called me two days early, and told me my car was ready ! The car looks brand new (makes sense since my Mercedes only has 3700 miles on it). The work looks perfect, and they reduced my estimate by $175 because job took less time than expected. After stopping at the usual body shop I've used in the past and then visiting Misner I knew this was the place for me. They are a friendly family owned business that worked with me to make the whole process as painless as possible. They went above and beyond to not only fix the damage, but make my car look brand new. In addition to the coverage they provide I was surprised to see they left a small container of touch up paint in the car for me if I ever needed it! Brought my car into this shop recommended by my insurance company. They did more damage to my car. And they couldn't paint the car correctly for some reason. Instead of sanding down the paint they would paint over it. 3x's I ended up having to redo the job somewhere else out of my own pocket. Gary has a shop manager who is overly aggressive. I drive a fleet vehicle. The place was recommended by the fleet admin. I had the car photographed and after insurance and fleet approval I was scheduled for repair. I returned to pic up my EZ pass and car was almost done. Couple days later I received a phone call to come pick it up. Everything was taken care of and car was as new. They even left a small container with paint for further needs ( touch ups ). I do not recall any names, but I think one of the guys I talked was the owner's son. Very nice and polite. I needed to have the end of my car repaired. I was recommended to call Misner Auto Body in West Islip. I called and left a message. Within 15 minutes my call was returned. I explained my problem and asked a few questions. I was invited to bring my car down and have them take a look at it. I did and was greeted immediately. One of their techs's walked outside with me. They looked at the damage and discussed the various options I have to fix the car. They told me to think about it and give them a call. I decided to go with Misner Auto Body. I made an appointment and dropped my car off. I was given a time frame of when it would be completed. They called within the time frame and I went to pick up my car. My car looked BEAUTIFUL!
