I took my car here for repairing a few dents. And after 1/2 hr. And $400.00 later, a few dings were removed, but the dents that really needed perfection were mangled!!!!! I've been a loyal customer of Dent Doctor for over the course of 5 years and the owner Chris has always taken care of me. In that time, I've brought 3 of my vehicles here (Porsche Cayenne, Audi Q5, and Porsche 911) and his technician's work has always been impeccable. The 911 was the most recent visit and Chris had his lead technician repair the dent to almost flawless condition. It was not until i drove out and several hours later under the bright sunlight did I notice the repair was slightly off (hardly noticeable but on the 911, I was a bit more scrutinizing due to the nature of the car). I returned to Dent Doctor and Chris inspected the repair under the sunlight and without hesitation, went back in to retrieve his tools and massaged the repair himself. (Kudos!) I am extremely happy with Dent Doctor's work and would not hesitate to return for future dings. My only suggestion is to make sure to call and make an appointment as he gets backed up quickly. Walk-ins are welcomed but you may have a bit to wait as Chris and his technicians do amazing work and are always in demand. read more

Yes ...I need to update this review to give a full 5 stars for the actual work.. it's like the dent on the trunk of my Saturn Sky never happened...and based on the location the dent was at, I surmise my dent was also caused by a PEDESTRIAN when it was parked outside on the street. First off I had to text pictures of the dents to get a quote. I sent two pictures of the main 2 dents I wanted to be removed. After scheduling an appointment for 230 then became 430, And then 530. He finally showed up around 630 and he tells me that he only recieved 1 of the 2 pictures. What was originally a 200$ repair then doubled. After waiting just about all afternoon for him like an idiot I told him to pull the dents and what a mistake that was... honestly the dents look 10x worse than they did before he touched it. I got a prompt phone call after hours from Chris after I sent a picture of the damage to his phone and he quoted me right away and got me in the very next morning. Don't call them, ever! I sent them pictures of three small dents I had on my truck. He quoted me $250.00, we set a appointment for 10:00 a few days later. That morning he called me letting me know he hit traffic and that he would be TWO HOURS late. Then two hours after that he is another TWO HOURS late and being very rude on the phone, as if I am inconveniencing him. Finally around 2:00 he calls me to let me know "he f****ed up and the price was too low". Now it's going to be $400.00. Tells me he doesn't care that he quoted me $250.00 and after 4+ hours of waiting he needs a yes or no answer because he doesn't have time to deal with me and that he's not driving to New Jersey for any less. Then he goes on to tell me how he doesn't give a f*** and that "a gay guy didn't like his price a few days before so he told him to f*** off" (his word not mine). Guy is rude, obnoxious and completely unprofessional and incompetent. He could have simply explained that he missed a few pictures and apologize for running so behind and I would have been willing to meet him half way on the price. Im a reasonable person, I know mistakes happen. He's a completely unreasonable person who has no respect for his customers. Call anyone else, seriously anyone!!!!!! Lucky for me I never meet strange people at my house. I have a few random public locations I use so when he finally showed up to do the work, guess what, I wasn't there, I was home watching TV. then I sent him on a wild goose chase to another location across town because "gps sometimes sends people to the wrong address". Usually, I never leave a review but, for this guy BEWARE, BEWARE. First let me start off that Chris changed the date on me for the original appointment. Then this guy shows up with a nasty attitude, negative demeanor, and vulgar language (like he was doing me a favor out of his busy day) tries to charge me an extra $25 after the agreed $250. He ends up doing a terrible job and makes things worse. He then proceeds to tell me not to worry about the money and I can get it back by basically stiffing Home Depot by saying my vehicle got hit by a kart in the parking lot (Note *** he states its company policy, hope Home Depot sees this) and they will pay for the bill (would never do this because its stealing). His website say's 100% satisfaction and it couldn't be further from the truth. He made promises based on his 100% satisfaction policy stating that if I brought it to a body shop, he would reimburse me. This guy's moral compass and business ethics are so bad I'm surprised he made it back to his car when he left. So, I end up taking my vehicle to a body shop to undo the damage he did. He made promises to meet me at the shop to (* see if the body shop actually got the job done*), so I confirmed with him over the phone to meet me at the body shop the day prior. Well, the day comes to pick up my vehicle and I proceed to sit there and wait like an idiot, he hasn't returned my calls or voicemails. After receiving a very visible ding on the body line of my otherwise pristine Challenger, I brought it to the Plainview location for repair. I was apprehensive of how the repair would come out but went for it anyway. I met with the tech, Marvin, who was very professional and courteous. He said he would get it to about 95% to before it was damaged. After only less than 30 minutes the job was complete. Well I have to take issue with the 95% estimate. It was more like 99%!!! He and his staff are knowledgable and Chris is a straight shooter. I've had my Mustang detailed there a couple of times and it comes out looking brand new. Excellent service at a very reasonable price. I came in with 4 dings on my Toyota Highlander. They fixed three of them and told me that the fourth would require a paint job and would be "expensive." When I asked how much, he gave me a price that was way below what the Toyota dealer would have charged. The work on the three remaining dents took about an hour and was excellent. You'd have to really be looking for it to see any of them now. Avoid at all cost , I paid for Paint-less Dent Removal ( PDR) . A process in which they remove dents WITHOUT PAINT, instead they painted HALF my car without my prior consent devaluing my car greatly . They put fillers on my HOOD which is extremely unsafe . They left my car TWO different colors along with bubbles , chips and drips . Chris the owner is rude and aggressive . I also received two tickets in front the shop when the car was in their custody and was NOT NOTIFIED . I plan on suing them for a full refund . WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GUY!!!! Wish I would have read the reviews before I went out on a limb and hired him. I had made an appointment to have a dent fixed and he called and changed the time of the appointment 15 minuets before the "new appointment time". He showed up and did a half assed job in exactly 11 minutes (he popped the dent out but chipped the paint and caused other damage in the process). He was not shy about throwing how busy he was in my face, as if my business was an inconvenience to him and that I should be grateful that he was able to "squeeze me in". He charged $260 for work I could have done myself and was angry and confrontational when I showed up with the money 5 minuets after he had finished (apparently it's rude to be barely late but not rude to treat overcharged costumers like an inconvenience). Besides the fact that he had moved my appointment time up by a half an hour at the last possible second and was finished with his "repair" (if you could call it that) in less than 15 minutes, he was incredibly rude and antagonistic and it is truly a wonder that he is still in business. read more

I scheduled an appointment with Chris on Sunday and by Tuesday i had an appointment with Marvin. He was really nice and did such a great job. Marvin met me at my job during my lunch hour. He went over with me what he would be able to do and what he might not. He told me that the crease should improve about 90%. About an hour later, I got a call from Marvin to say he was finished. i met Marvin where my car was parked and it looked amazing. My car was hit on the driver's side door really bad.
