I enjoyed being able to get a quote and schedule the visit with Mr Dent all via text messages. That worked well. Mr Dent arrived at the agreed upon time and quickly set to work on my car. The dent was a small one -- fingertip-sized -- and Mr Dent was able to completely eliminate it! I'd sent him an initial photo of the damage via text for a quote (the same image attached here) and he quoted 80% improvement was likely. Well, I call the repair 100%. It's great! Of course, there's still damage to the PPF, but that's the point: it saves the paint. I'll probably replace the PPF after a few more snags and dings on the protective layer. While Mr Dent was here, he noticed another minor door ding style dent on the front, driver-side fender. It was subtle, but clearly there once you knew to look for it. He ended up fixing that one as well for no extra cost. Impressive! Overall, working with Mr Dent went smoothly, resulted in a very nice repair to my car, and didn't break the bank. After 7 years, I finally had some down town and decided to give Mel a try with all those great reviews. I wondered, "were they bought or are they real customers?" He took about 10-15 mins to go over the cars with so many dings/scrapes and explained to me what is feasible (only on metal mostly) and what can be done by others (plastic and rubber), and then he told me the exact price of each area so I can decide depending on my budget. He was very thorough at explaining what he would do and gave me a very fair price. I must admit I didn't have my hopes up high.. how can he repair so many little dings and scrapes to look like new? But he not only did that, but he did it so quickly, it was unbelieveable. In about 30 mins, he took out all the dings on one door and removed the scrapes. No paint was needed. Another door larger ding was fixed in another 15 mins. He somehow goes through the window opening. Then he worked on my trunk hatchback door that had severe dents on the edge and removed those also. He did this for $300 and then to help me out, he also buffed out a scrape in the front trunk and in the back Falcon wing panel where I had black scuff marks for over 18 months that I couldn't remove with soap and water. He even removed an ugly yr + old partially left sticker from the sad loss of the Biden/Harris campaign! I had some unfortunate impact-related damage to the back corner of my car, which was a hard spot to fix (since it was on a contoured area of metal). Rony provided a quick and detailed assessment and performed the following work: 1. Pulled out the dented metal (approx. 70%) to reduce the depth. 2. Grinded and sanded the entire area. 3. Filled the remaining dent, shaping the area to match the contours. 4. Priming and sanding 5. Final painting (color matched) and sanding 6. Surface sanding and buffing I was amazed that the area was perfectly repaired and blended--a much better result than most body shops could provide. This is the part that matters the most, as Rony is a true craftsman. He won't just "fix" an issue, but will provide the skills and patience to make sure that it's done right. Although they are new to the location you can tell they know how to run a business and take care of their customers. My 2021 Cement Grey Tacoma was side swiped by some punks on bicycles and I was worried about rust developing since the scratch broke beyond the clear coat. This required painting two door panels along with color matching and blending the new coat with the original. Not an easy task, but one that a professional shop is expected to perform at a very high level. After a short wait period, my truck was completed at a very fair price and with a professional touch. The team here is great from top to bottom and I hope they have continued success. It's great to see a business deal with transparency and have pride in how they treat customers.
