Bottom line... This guy is amazing at getting dents out. If you aren't sure, watch his YouTube videos first then bc those will prove to you that he's the right guy for the job. My story: I bought a street bike with a big dent in the gas tank with the plan of just replacing the entire tank (see pics) $$ So I call a local motorcycle shop to ask if they could order me a new OEM tank and they referred me to Ian at Dent Solutions first. I call Ian and he lets me know up front that usually he doesn't work on sport bike tanks bc of how shallow they are; there aren't tools out there yet that allow dent pullers to reach around the backbone in there. So I explain to him that either way, I'm fixing to shovel out $800 for a new tank and that if he wants to at least try... it wouldn't affect me either way at this point. So he agrees to try I pull up to his shop, he opens the bay door, and it's so spacious, nice, and clean in there (man cave style with a flat screen tv mounted up on the wall etc). I pull the bike into his work area, he studies it for a couple seconds, then he starts grabbing tools/working on it. I sat there watching him every step of the way as he explained what he was doing etc. It was cool to see him fixing it right there in front of me. As he was working, we just sat there talking about life (almost wish we coulda just sipped on a couple beers right then and there). He gets the dent to a point where he would need to get the rest of it from the inside of the tank (which we've already established isn't possible). Well, he grabs and tries every tool he has anyways to get it from the inside but nothing worked with my specific tank. It was nice to see in person that he tried everything and let me see for myself that it just didn't work. At this point, he's bummed bc he's a perfectionist (which I understand; I'm military and my attention to detail is keen as well). But I explain to him that it is literally so much better than I ever thought paintless dent repair could be anyhow and that it's ok to stop at this point. BUT STILL, he says, let me try a couple more things... and continues to try to glue pull/crown tap them out. We didn't get it to his level of perfection, but it was definitely good enough for me considering NO ONE works on sport bike tanks anyways and I was doomed to replace it from the get go. He quoted me $300 the day I initially called him and then only charged me $150 today bc he wasn't happy that it wasn't perfect (which wasn't even his fault at all and he was literally just doing me a favor by trying). So check out the pictures to see just how far he was able to perfect it! It's amazing and my plan is just to throw stomp grips over the entire sides of the tank now so you won't even know it's there. BUT WAIT... there's more! So I pay him, and thank him so much for everything he did bc he saved me from spending $800 on a new tank. Well, then I head back home, stop at a gas station to fill up, try to start my bike and the battery is all of the sudden dead so off a whim, I call Ian and ask if there's any way that he could come help me. Without skipping a beat, he says I'll be there in a second. He pulls up, jumps on my bike, tries push starting it first (we couldn't get it), so he pulls out tools to remove my fenders and seat, gets to the battery, and jump starts my bike for me. What an amazing guy. Just all around good dude that goes above and beyond without expecting anything in return. I can't thank you enough Ian. You've earned my business 100% and I will forever refer people to you because you give a dang, treat people like people, and are such a perfectionist. Next time I see you, I'll have a coin for you (a military tradition of appreciation). If you end up inventing a tool to reach sport bike tank dents from the inside, I hope I'm the first to know. Ian came to my house in Sonoma to work on my truck. He was punctual, informative and patient with my questions. I only intended to have a couple dents done and when he priced out what the whole truck would be, I took about a minute and thought "why the hell not?" and gave him the green light to go for it. I drove up from Ventura California which is 6 hours away because I was confident that Mr. Ian Cordle was going to be able to remove this impossible dent which was located on one of the rear upper panels where my roof rack was on my 2018 Calvalry Blue TRD Pro 4Runner. He used purely the glue pulling method due to the fact he did not have access from inside of the vehicle to use a rod to push the dent out. Several PDR techs in my area told me that I had to send it to a body shop to get it repaired because they didn't have access to use a rod to push the dent out. Body shop work and repaint wasn't an option for me. So I sent over some pictures to Ian so he could give me his honest opinion/evaluation and he said very confidently that he would be able to get all the dents out to make it look like it never happened. His prices are very reasonable considering I would have paid hundreds more to get it repaired at a body shop! Mr. Ian Cordle is a very professional and meticulous person at his craft. At one point he even thought he was done and was happy with the outcome, but upon further inspection noticed some things that he wasn't happy with and continued to work on it till it was perfect and he was happy with the outcome. If I could give more than five stars for this review I would! Ian far exceeded my expectations and I would gladly drive up 6 hours again to get work done from him!
