Only after the car was warmed up really good then it would come on. Once the warmer months came, it starts up like it's supposed to. I took it to Car Toys in Denton (where I bought it) and since their warranty ran out, they told me it was a pioneer, not as good a product as a Kenwood, etc. keep in mind this Pioneer stereo cost $750 with install the total was close to $1,000, give or take a little. Needless to say, I'm done with Car Toys. Also, look at how many of their stores are closed down or in the middle of closing. Remember the Latin phrase "Caveat emptor."
