Is it strange to say I love going to dentist if it means going to Dental 32?! Who cares- I said it anyways! I truly love Dental 32. The staff at the front desk are always so kind. After flying out for my daughter's graduation from boot camp my tooth started getting much worse. It got to the point of hurting so bad I started searching for any dentist. Well I'm glad to say I got the best! Even though he was booked for days when the receptionist told him of my situation he had me come in immediately. So I'm really picky about who I let pick at my teeth. I'm so happy I found Dr. Truong! I started to come here a few years ago during grad school because of the great Yelp reviews. My expectations were more than exceeded. All of the office staff were INCREDIBLE and so genuinely welcoming. The dental hygienists were some of the best I've ever had. They truly go above and beyond to ensure patient satisfaction and comfort. They offer you drinks, headphones, blankets, etc. They even give you an iPad to go through all of your teeth photos and talk you through your treatment plan. Although the location is downtown in a trendy area, they have a free parking lot adjacent to the building and street parking out front. I never had an issue with parking. I also never had an issue with wait time! I was always seen promptly at my appointment time, if not before. My cleanings and services were always really thorough as well. It didn't ever feel like they were rushing through to get to the next patient. I moved to California last year and have been on the prowl for a new dentist here for awhile now.... I absolutely love this dentistry. I called, and they were able to get me in for a cleaning the next day. I describe this place as if Millenials ran a dentist, in a good way. They were relatable and fun. I knew I needed some fillings done, and it is time for my wisdom teeth to be removed. They were kind and professional, and when I got a little teary-eyed they were empathetic and offered me some tissues. The cleaning was comfortable and they informed me of everything they would do before they stuck any tools in my mouth. My husband and I found Dr. Lu and his staff after some unfortunate encounters with OKC dentists over the past few years. In comparison to our previous encounters, these are our observations: The reception staff, from check-in to billing, are friendly, organized, and knowledgeable. After 3 visits to the office, I have not had to wait more than 2-3 minutes for my appointment to begin or to check out. High five to whomever is in charge of scheduling. Cleaning: the hygienist gently but effectively cleaned my teeth and alerted the dentist to possible concerns relative to the health of my teeth. Since my previous cleaning and exams at other dentists focused on the the possibility of whether I needed Botox or other upgrades, I very much appreciated the focus on my mouth instead of my forehead and wrinkles. The Dentist: due to the above-referenced neglect to my mouth over the past few years, I did have some issues and needed some filings and even a crown. This was by far the most extensive work I've had on my teeth, but Dr. Lu and his Assistant, Brittany, were gentle and did a wonderful job. I'm a giant baby when it comes to the pain, noises, and needles associated with dentistry, but Dr. Lu is gentle and stops every minute or so to ask if you're ok. And even though I can't really hear him for the suction and drills, he tries to tell me what exactly he's doing. Dental work is torture, but they really make it as pleasant as possible and they are reassuring and empathetic, even as I complain and make terrible faces every step of the way. Post-appointment: Someone followed up via text a few days after my appointment just to confirm i was recovering well. I assumed the text was automated, but I actually received a reply to my response. I think they may actually care.... After 5 years of being unhappy with other dentists, I finally feel like I've found a keeper. read more

The Deep Deuce location, the cool historic building, and then - state of the art, open concept office with of-the-moment architectural and design details, spotlessly clean - the whole vibe just sets you up to feel good about the experience. And that's before you meet the warm, friendly staff up front or feel instantly comforted by Dr. Lu's laid back presence and easy-going nature. I came in for a consult to see if I'm a candidate for Invisalign. My teeth are moving a bit as I get older, and although I have a beloved dentist, my uncle, he doesn't do Invisalign, so I was happy for the chance to check out a new practice with a young team and all the cool toys. This place is definitely that. They took 3D images of my teeth in about 5 minutes and will analyze and and get back to me. I left with a printout showing exactly what it will cost me, after insurance, should I decide to do it. I highly recommend making an appointment here and seeing it for yourself. read more

Cheers to Emily and Dr. Lu for making this the most pleasant dentist appointment I've ever had. I was welcomed by name at the front desk and offered water or coffee (coffee! At the dentist's office!) while I waited for my appointment to begin. Dental 32 is the most high-tech dental practice I've been to. X-rays are taken with a small gun, and photos of the outsides of teeth are taken with a small pen. With these tools, hygienist Emily and Dr. Lu were able to immediately look for underlying issues. This was a great educational tool for showing me exactly what wear had occurred on my teeth and really drove home the "you need to up your floss game" talk. Both Emily and Dr. Lu offered helpful advice for my teeth grinding issues and general tips for protecting my enamel. In my experience, dentists don't spend much time with their patients, but Dr. Lu actually sat down to chat with me about travel, Oklahoma, and sports before getting down to tooth business. Dental 32 makes time for patients to feel comfortable and totally welcomed. I can't believe I haven't done a review of Dental 32 yet. I have been a patient of Dr. Truong for about two years now. He and his staff are very friendly and take their time with every patient. They listen to what I have to say and offer reasonable suggestions on how to improve the health of my teeth and my overall smile. Scheduling appointments is always easy. They offer after hour appointments on certain days during the week so be sure to ask for those hours if you can't take time off from work. If your appointment is at 10am or 4pm, you are called into the back right on the dot. You never have to wait longer than five minutes after your scheduled time. This is another reason why I love them. They know time is precious so they make sure you are to be seen on time. Teeth cleaning takes about 45 minutes and for all other dental procedures, they depend on what you are getting done. I highly recommend Dr. Truong and his team of awesomeness! read more

I hadn't been to the dentist in about 10 years and needed my wisdom teeth extracted. Dr. Lu did my consolation and was very professional and friendly. We scheduled my appointment extraction for a week later. The wisdom teeth extraction couldn't have gone better. The procedure was yesterday, and I feel totally fine today without any pain meds needed. Yes; this place is the equivalent of a dental spa. It's amazing. However, the dental insurance they sell you in the lobby is great but NOT if you need gum grafting: it does not cover major surgery. What you need for major surgery is a policy with 6 month waiting policy or less and a high coverage rate. No, absolutely none of that. It's ALWAYS, "Hello Alyssa. How are you doing?" And either come on back or have a seat for a moment-and they literally mean a moment because I have never had to wait. The office space is welcome, trendy and has a super fun vibe. There's also complimentary coffee and water. When you go back to your chair you can choose if you want a blanket or headphones during your procedure. The team at Dental 32 always asks about me and I love that. Do they take notes? Probably, but I do not care because it's meaningful and makes a difference. Dr. Truong believes in training, customer service and giving back to the community. All things I can get behind. I've also seen Dr. Lu and am a huge fan of his now. This entire team is so fabulous. They also give you a print out of estimated costs BEFORE the procedure or work and check your insurance first. They have iPads, headphones, and blankets to help you remain comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Steve Truong and Amy's (assistant) hands were so gentle. This coming from a person who has a deep panic of a tooth cleaning. He was amazing at helping me stay sedated through the process, which flew by. I had a reclining chair, a blanket, music and my MVP Dr. Truong. In the end I dozed off, during a root canal, yes!! I fell asleep during a root canal!!!!! I cannot say enough to justify the level of professionalism and love this business makes you feel. Dr. Truong even called me while out of town to check in on me after my initial check up. Where do I start? Alright this review is for a cleaning, sealant, and whitening session. Okay. FRIDAY: I just moved to OKC in a new position and I'm due for my 6-month dental check-up. I yelp "dentists" near my workplace and saw Dental 32. Checked out their website and was really impressed. EASILY set up my appointment date via ZocDoc for the following Monday. I LOVE setting up appointments online because it's easy and to the point. ZocDoc even has a mobile app! MONDAY: Parking was a breeze, you get 2 hours of street parking and there's always spots. When you enter, you are welcomed by this amazing office with super cool beautiful urban artwork. Also, you're greeted by Jamie! She knows you by name and you are checked-in quicker than you can say "hi!" Jennifer was my hygienist and took my x-rays with this super high tech, revolving x-ray machine. She showed me my x-rays and what she was looking at. Really awesome to learn more about your dental care. Once in the chair, I couldn't help loving the music she was playing, I really had to refrain from humming along... mouth open and all. I had an awesome time with her, we giggled and laughed Met Dr. Truong and he is just simply awesome. When I asked about whitening he was realistic and informative about how much it would take to reach a goal shade. My teeth were fairly white so I could go either direction to which of the two whitening systems to use. Since I'm still paying off student loans, I opted for the lower tier because the higher tier was $500+ TUESDAY: Came back the next day for my sealant because one tooth had some funky grooves so as preventative, we decided to put on a sealant. Met Cecily and Ashlee and the procedure took less than a jiffy. It was SUPER quick! Then Nicky got me fitted for my whitening trays. Oh gurrrrllll I LOVE NICKY!! She did an amazing job explaining the procedure of getting impression molds and she gave awesome tips & tricks to keep me from swallowing the molds! She was quick, efficient, and so down-to-earth. She told me my trays would be done around Friday. WEDNESDAY: Came back in for whitening and Ashlee got me prepped and ready. Nicky badazzled and blinged up my teeth in less than an hr. He genuinely cares for his patients, I had a troublesome tooth that snowballed into a big problem and had to see him for an emergency for the first time, and the second time he was booked up till 3 weeks later. I had my first appointment here yesterday. This place makes going to the dentist something to look forward to. First, the office is very welcoming with its modern/contemporary design. I did not feel like I was going to a dental office. I felt like this was a salon or art gallery. Its Deep Deuce location can make this place a convenient location for local residents as well as anyone who works in the area. Second, the staff is very nice and friendly. When I got seated into my chair they asked what music I wanted to listen to and happily obliged. I am pretty sure that I have never seen this at any dentist I've ever been to.
