Late last year, I made an appointment for a cleaning, having had my last one 6 months prior to the lockdown. For a person who brushes her teeth after every meal and flosses twice a day, I was surprised to learn that due to not having gone for a cleaning for two years, my gums needed a much needed deeper cleaning. That's when I began a periodontal/gum screening/oral hygiene fitness plan, that included 5 visits in a span of 3 months. Danny, the hygienist who took care of me, handled my mouth with extreme care and explained the details of all the procedures before during and after treatment which I appreciated very much. The first visit entailed having my gum's depth measured throughout my mouth, a super deep cleaning with a local anesthetic and laughing gas (I did not feel a thing and felt rather nice actually). Other tests were done and sent to the lab to check thoroughly. That day I went home with a brand new Philips electric toothbrush, a Waterflosser Water Pic, several bottles of oral irrigators, floss, etc. so I too, could tackle those hard-to-reach crevices in and around each and every tooth and molar at home. It was all included in their extremely competitive flat fee. At each visit, Danny once again measured the depth of my gums around each tooth, gave me a deep cleaning and an Oral Hygiene Fitness Report that reflected the improvements. All my visits were pain-free, educational and left me with freshly cleaned teeth and gums and it showed :) Today was my last visit. After the cleaning, I felt squeaky-clean and accomplished, especially receiving an "A+" for the progress and my at-home efforts. Dr. Gallardo and his staff not only treat you with respect and like family, but they make sure the experience with their state-of-the-art equipment, is smooth and pain-free. What more is there to ask for?

After 55 mins I was called to the back office where I was told the doctor would be right with me. After going through the longest and most uncomfortable x-ray process I was in the dental chair for 40 mins before the dentist came by and said he was sorry and he'd be right there. Thanks for saying so at least, but at the 1 hr 45 min mark we may as well not even try to be courteous. All said and done, the doc left again at one point for another ten minutes. My daughter needed a procedure done, and the doctor wanted to charge me over $2100 out of pocket because he wanted to use codes that weren't covered by my insurance. I made an appt with Dr. Gutt per a referral from another dentist for a crown lengthening to even out my teeth 2 months before my wedding (I'm a procrastinator). After my procedure, Dr. Gutt texted me multiple times to check in on how I was doing, as did the front desk with their follow up calls and post-op care reminders. Dr. Gutt knew I was under the gun for my gums to heal before my wedding and made sure I knew it was also important to him that they healed in time. He really made me feel like a priority and not just a regular patient. I'm sure many of his patients would attest to that as well because it is obvious that he not only takes pride in his craft but that he genuinely cares about his patients. He strictly is out for the almighty dollar and sees only dollar signs. I was traveling from New York and came to Dr. Gutt for an abscess tooth. He absolutely str8 up did NOTHING but tell me I have an infection. Not only is he the queen of obvious (thank you for telling me that, DR. GUTT) but he did not drain my abscess, did not prescribe me antibiotics and did not recommend any gum treatment whatsoever, including flap surgery, laser surgery or implant, all of which he does in-office. He basically told me I have an infection and walked out of the room. I don't know what you are going through, Dr. Gutt, but you need to get your license revoked. You are truly an endangerment to society and you definitely should NOT be practicing.
