I was like dude it's 3 am, you just woke up..normally people are red when they first wake up. I didn't see the swelling at first. Even if I didn't see it at first. He's very in tune with his body and knows it best. We started calling emergency dentists about 6 am. Husband just pretty much walked into this place and they took him right away. Our son has had a tooth abscess before and it moved to under his eye, which could be deadly if the drainage went to his brain. Husband was rightfully paranoid and just wanted to know if it needed to be taken care of ASAP or would he be okay until he gets back to DFW. Long story short. Dr Huynh gave him pain meds and antibiotics. Told him he needed the tooth out soon or retreat of root canal, but nothing immediate. I appreciate the office getting him in quick and Dr reassuring him.

The place is a cool mix of Korean and Vietnamese with some piano K-pop covers and some loud Paris by Night action depending on the room you're in. Dr. Anh Pham is quick and efficient and doesn't make any awkward small talk with her hand in your mouth. I'm usually in and out in a timely manner. I will say it's a bit chilly in there, so bring a sweater or something. They really churn and burn at this place. It doesn't seem like the doctor's get a break. There's really no time for personal service, but I mean, it's a dentist, I'm not looking for a bestie. That's the only reason I'd really knock a star off. That and value. Teeth are expensive. =/

Dr. Hwang performed the implant and installed the new abutment for one of my teeth in August 2023…read morewithout any problem. Five months later in January 2024, I came back to the office for new crown measurements. This was done by another dentist or technician. Three weeks later in early February 2024, they called me back for Dr. Hwang to install the new crown onto the top of the abutment. The crown was so big compared to the gap between my two teeth. However, Dr. Hwang insisted that he wanted to install the crown for me. After the installation, the crown pushed my two neighbor teeth inward and it started hurting me so badly, but he told me I would feel better in a couple of weeks. Two weeks later on February 28, I came back to the office and asked him to remove the crown due to the pain and the stress that I have had on my two neighbor teeth. I also asked him if he can either grind off the new crown or my two neighbor teeth so the crown can fit onto the space between my two existing teeth. Two week later on March 13, 2024 I came back to the office, he did not listen to me to grind off the old teeth or the crown so it can fit onto the space between my two teeth but he wanted to reinstall the same crown on me again. He started to get upset after I refused, he also asked me "who is the doctor?". I told him I am not a doctor but a retired engineer and a patient and could be a doctor easily if I wanted to. As a result, he was so upset, mad like a crazy person, threw his face mask on the ground, and walked out of the room without doing anything for me. After that incident his office refused to treat me any further. He DID NOT COMPLETE THE IMPLANT ON MY TOOTH, but already changed my insurance company over $4,000. I also will write a formal complaint letter the State Board of Dental Examiners and my insurance company regarding this crazy doctor, so he will respect his patients and listen to them for any problems. He thought he is GOD and every patient like me has to listen to him no matter what the problems are.

I'm looking for a dentist and I don't have a lot of money and I don't have insurance and I can't afford insurance, and this is one of the ones I'm considering.
